I wish I could give negative stars. My husband went there on 11/4/21 and was quoted a 2 hour wait. After waiting 2 1/2 hours it was obvious they had mistakenly skipped our car. When my husband went to inquire as to what happened the person at the front desk recognized the mistake and began apologizing and said it wouldnt be much longer. After waiting for 2 more hours (now a total of 4 1/2 hours), my husband went back see what was taking so long. A worker from the back then became disgruntled and claimed that they werent working on it because they were waiting on an air filter. They never informed us of this. After that, the worker became more agitated and THREW OUR KEYS AT MY HUSBAND AND TOLD HIM HE COULD LEAVE.NOW, we are reasonable people and we know that service workers are often mistreated and people dont act like they should in public. However, I can assure you WE ARE NOT THOSE PEOPLE. We have worked in the service industry our entire lives and we would never treat someone the way my husband was treated today. I WILL NEVER SPEND MY MONEY AT THIS PLACE AGAIN. IN ADDITION ENCOURAGE EVERYONE ELSE NOT TO DO SO EITHER. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE ON EVERY LEVEL. I HAVE CALLED CORPORATE.
I paid to get a wheel alignment and the service wasn’t done. The second I drove away my car felt the exact same as it did and continued to automatically drive more towards the left. I’ve never had this issue with this particular location before but I’m annoyed because I got 4 new tires that day and all I needed was a wheel alignment so my tires don’t get messed up again.
This place is always great. Today I had Zakee as my tech and he was absolutely awesome. Very personable, professional and overall just a nice guy. Thanks for a great experience once again and I will keep coming back!

I went to Precision Auto Tune to get an oil change on my birthday. They were very busy and still were able to work me in. It was one of the best experiences I have had. I am picky about where I take my car as I know so many places try to scam you. I fully trust them with my car and will be back again. They have gained a customer for life! Thanks again!

Good service, they are under staffed due to covid so call ahead, they got my vehicle fixed in about 6 hours, it had major issues though, no fault of theirs.
Had a nail in my dads tire in his car and couldnt make it to my shop in winston from high point because of how fast it was leaking. Two guys at the front desk got me fixed and squared away with a professional manner and I was back on the road in no time. Coming from a shop owner himself, these guys are trustworthy for sure.

I have been coming here for years. They have really gone down hill lately. I had a brake job done two weeks ago (new pads and rotors) and they were grabbing and squealing after that for two weeks. I took it back today and the mechanic said the guy before me didnt do the job correctly . He redid my brakes but they are still squealing. They are blaming it on my suspension now but I dont think so since it wasnt doing it until they worked on it. Plus when I had it done they charged me 550 dollars and said I wouldnt find anyone in town to do it any cheaper. After they finished I called my mechanic to see what he charged . He quoted it 200 dollars less and didnt even know I already had it done. So I know they ripped me off. Also I had tires put on about a month before by them and they didnt mention my brakes and rotors being bad even though they were right in front of them when they took the wheels off. I wont go back to these crooks.
I tried this location for the first time this past Saturday (11/21/2020) and was very pleased. I was there for an oil change and was in an out in no time. Great customer service from the guys up front even though they have bad taste in football teams lol The fact that they even mentioned football won me over. It made the experience even better because they were very personable. Theyve definitely gained a new customer! Go Pats 😁
I went to get a brake inspection thinking i only needed brakes and rotors. They told me I also needed calipers, and price everything at almost $1200. I didnt want to pay that much so I went to get another quote where they told me I did not need calipers and they also did not tighten my bolts when I left. At the end of the day I paid less than $300 somewhere else. This particular branch is money hungry and will lie to maximize their profits. Be careful, because I almost spent $1200 without needing to.

This place is busy. I got an oil change, tire rotation and brake fluid flush. The customer service was great. The techs were efficient. Services were recommended but did not feel pressured to buy. Would recommend.

I recently went to Precision Tune to have my windshield washer pump replaced. After dropping off my Nissan Frontier, I was informed that I needed to have a diagnostic run on my vehicle. This costs $78. I instructed them to proceed. Then I got a call saying that my windshield washer pump did need replacing. The total for parts and service (including the diagnostic) was going to be around $400. But that cost was then dropped to around $360 after they applied a coupon. They informed me that the pump alone was $150. I checked with various part stores, including the Nissan OEM website, the most expensive pump I found was around $70. I then called my local Nissan dealership and they informed me to do the same work would cost $214. After talking with the Precision Tune manager, they brought their price down to $300. I was already having to pay for a diagnostic, for which they said I needed, so I went ahead and told them to proceed with the work. I am very disappointed because I have brought them lots of business in the past. But after this, cannot afford to go back. Im giving them two stars. One for their service on my vehicle and one for working with me on the price after informing them about my research. They also cleaned out the washer lines at no charge.

The High Point location is always thorough and informative about the maintenance services needed to be addressed for safety and performance purposes. I also appreciate them for itemizing the service and parts prices in an easy to understand format. I’ve gone to two other Precision locations for service in the Greensboro area but none have been as welcoming as this location. I will only return to this one moving forward because they are always on top of things.
Taking our business elsewhere. We were customers for over 10 years, but there was some sort of corporate overhaul that drove away all of our favorite staff. Then, I took my car for an oil change on a notably slow day and they tried to up-sell me on $200 in repairs that I did NOT need. Later, my husband took his car for an oil change on the same day, and they tried the same trick on him. Never going back.
I went to get an oil change and get brakes as well as rotors put on (which I provided to save time) it took from 8am-12 noon to complete this task and the management was horrible and you can tell they know little to nothing with an attitude. Shawn however done a great job and is the only reason I’ll return to precision tune period. Thanks Shawn maybe you should look into managing.
*UPDATED* If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I called & asked if I could drop my car off for an oil change & inspection before they opened because I had to work & was assured I could. I dropped my car off & returned NINE HOURS LATER, to discover my car had not been touched & my freaking car key was left outside, unattended the entire time. I was then told they could only do the inspection, but wouldnt have time to do my oil change. Even though my car was the first one there. Ive been telling any & everyone who will listen NOT TO USE THEM, BUT GUESS WHAT??! EVERYBODY IVE TOLD ALREADY WONT USE THEM!!! OAN: Take 5 does oil changes on Sundays. They ARE pricier, but theyre not Precision, so I pay. I use the Take 5 located at 1715 Battleground Ave, Greensboro, NC 27408. You dont even get out the car there.
Had some servicing to my 08 FJ Cruiser done here, they did a great job no complaints. Helped me with everything I needed and was in and out in no time as well as knowledgeable in answering any questions I had. Very great service and people.

Just moved to the area 2 months ago and needed to find a solid shop that does mostly everything that a dealership would do since my long hours dont always allow me to make dealership appointments. This place hands down was awesome. I called and they told me to bring it right over. Oil change and tire rotation for the same price and product that the dealership would use minus the tire rotation. Friendly people, comfy chairs in the waiting room. I found the place I already trust after the 1st time. Well done
My go-to auto shop! The staff is very friendly and are always willing to explain in plain language. I had to drop my car off before work so they sent me pictures to keep me informed. They provide quality work in a timely manner. They go above and beyond for customers. Clay is great!
Great customer service
The last 3 oil changes were done a Precision Tune. It is a clean store with regular run coupons which really help someone on a fixed income. You can drop it off and they will call you when your care is ready. On the last visit we were told the oil plug needed replacing, because it was leaking. They put an oversized drain plug because the one we had was leaking. Even though i had no sign of a leak on my driveway we had it replaced. For 4,000 miles we did not see any sign if a lean. After bringing the Honda home we called back to the service team the oil was, is dripping on driveway. They asked for the car back added a die and told us to drive it. My driveway is looking worse si i bought some over sized plugs and plan on doing myself.

BEWARE DO NOT GO HERE Paid for an oil change that they did not preform and car will not run now. They acknowledge that they did not do the oil change and even fired the person but they refuse to fix the car. They told us we should have checked the oil when we left. Who checks their oil after having it changed.
My jeep broke down on the way home from work, I’m 47 years old and have never had that happen to me. We called Precision Tune the next morning, they were able to have my jeep towed to the shop and fix it all in the same day. I appreciated the updates through out the day on my jeeps progress. I will definitely be taking my jeep there for it’s care. Thank you!
This visit had to be a joke! I took my car there this morning for an oil change and because the Service Engine Soon light was on. The first person I dealt with (Anna?) Was very nice and knowledgeable. When my car was finished, someone else was at the counter. I asked about the engine code and he told me he didnt know what the code meant but that he could give it to me and I could Google it when I got home. Um, no. At this point, Anna jumped in and showed him how to look up the code. While they were doing that, I looked at the invoice and noticed I had a brake light out and needed an air filter, neither which was mentioned to me at all (even though the invoice says I declined the air filter). At this point, Anna tells me the code is for an emissions code, but I declined to have them run the seventy dollar test, mainly because I dont trust this establishment at this point. They seem incompetent at best, and flat out deceptive at worst. This is my first visit here, and I guarantee I wont be back.
Fantastic service at the location off Penny Rd. Had to wait a while but that’s the nature of first come first serve. Ona and Tony(?) took great care of me and my car, being up front and honest about the issues that need taken care of and going out of their way not to nickle and dime me on things, when they could have easily done so without question. They show a respect and understanding for their customers you rarely expect when going to a mechanic. I highly recommend this shop.

Manager told me I was lying when I showed him my rims were scared, he went to get who never came to look or deny. Did not put paper mat over floor mats and just threw spare tire in trunk on top of everything in there. Thanks for loosing a customer of many years.
I am so impressed at this location. Ive dealt with so many mechanics that I never felt good about. After dealing with Clay I felt well taken care of. He was honest about the time spent and kept me up to speed on every move.

Brought vehicle in to have a dust cover on cv axle secured properly that was installed at this shop under warranty a month prior. Technician and advisor blamed loose dust cover on the transmission going bad due to technician not being able to get the vehicle in drive. Reviewed video footage and technician had enabled safety lock to prevent vehicle from being in drive with door open, and blamed this on the transmission going bad. Technician also drove vehicle with no seat belt when driving to listen to the sound I described when dropping it off. There was no possible way to hear it with the seat belt chiming every other second, I had to physically show him the problem since he said he couldnt reproduce it.
I had a great experience with PAT since I brought my Tacoma in for service. The service manager, Clay was so helpful! He didnt try to oversell me on anything I didnt need. He made suggestions, but wasnt pushy. I will always bring my truck here in the future. Thank You!

Little expensive for what you get
These guys were very up front and honest with my wife. They squeezed us in on a Friday afternoon with no advanced notice and had our van running in 2 hours. Their price was also very reasonable, with no large markup on parts. The shop had plenty of room for my boys to relax in while we waited as well
Came here to get my 2015 Kia Forte rotors replaced. Service was extremely great and fast! I got here around 11AM, was told there would be a hour wait until my car can be seen. I looked up and saw my car inside within 30 mins of arriving (first plus). Then while waiting one of the men “Boa” came out and actually showed me my old rotors and explained in detail everything that’s was going on with my car (second plus). The whole back team and receptionist Ona worked efficiently and fast. Definitely will be my go to.

Clay runs a five-star shop and his team is top notch. They have been our neighborhood auto shop for years. We moved about 30 minutes away and have a few good local shops to choose from, but I won’t take our cars anywhere else. The shop is often busy, but you are treated as though you are the only customer there. The waits are not long, and the pricing is always fair.
Clay and his crew of mechanics are the only ones I will let work on my vehicle. I’ve gone to other shops in the past but never experienced the level of pride they exhibited with my work truck. As if they owned it and were leasing to me. Always making sure everything was operating properly. Thanks for making my work truck start every morning!
Full Service Oil Change - I came in around 1pm and was not waiting for than 45 minutes which was perfect since I was there on my lunch break. The guy and girl at the front was very nice and efficient. I will definitely be coming back to this location.
We went in for an oil change and replacement of a tail light bulb. They estimated the wait at an hour. We thought, no problem, well walk over to the Walmart and kill time. We came back in an hour and it was still on the rack. After another hour, I just asked for my car back. I told them to forget the bulb and just take it off the lift. When they check, he was just beginning the oil change. So, $40 and a 2 hour wait just to get an oil change and they werent even busy. We will not be back! Valvoline Express replace the bulb for $10 and in 10 minutes.

THE WAITING TIME ISN’T BAD AT ALL, EVERYONE IS FRIENDLY AND THEY ARE 💯 % HONEST AND GET RIGHT TO THE POINT. THEY HAVE JUST GAINED A LOYAL CUSTOMER AND I DEFINITELY WILL NOT HESITATE ON REFERRING TO PEOPLE WHO ARE IN NEED OF ANY TYPE OF SERVICE ON THEIR CAR. THANKS AGAIN MIKE!!

Affordable and Ive never had any problems
Poor customer service. Took 3 hours despite predicting 1 hour wait. Quote for repair was more than double consumer report estimates. Charged significantly higher than competitors for diagnostic ($69 compared to $20 at other nearby shop).
So I am giving this location a 3 stars because of previous experience with Clay, I would give it 5 stars because of him if he was still there. Clay always took care of our need and he was always honest and we were always quoted less than the competition. We are sad to see that he is no longer with the company and we can tell. We took our car there today because our door handle stopped working we knew the spring had broke in it and was told that it was a $78 diagnostic fee which we thought would be included of the total price if we got it fixed there but it is a separate fee. Why would you do a diagnostic for a car door handle, you know its the door handle and you have to order a part and replace it. We were told it was because they had to look in the door to see what exactly was wrong which makes no sense because the receipt says they took the car for a test drive, and other test that was completely unnecessary. We called Firestone for a quote after the fact and was quoted $253, the first time we called Precison it was $380 then after complaining she went down to $348 and then $300 even. To be a long standing customer and having to haggle the price was frustrating. They have lost a customer with raising the prices. If the door handle cost $119 and the service fee was $105 how did the price become $380 or even $300 with the courtesy discounts?
The staff here is very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. They do excellent work. I highly recommend Precision Tune for your car maintenance needs! They will treat you right!

Called to get in for an oil change....said they should be able to.....left work early to get there...turned me away...too busy. Did not even say hi.Quality Care closes at 6 too....asked if I could wait, they would get to me....THAT is customer service. Sad I had a free oil change from when the other High Point location skipped tickets and did not get my truck done in time. I would rather pay for good customer service than go to Precision Tune EVER again.
I can’t say enough great things about this place. Their staff is very professional. I would highly recommend using them, and would gladly travel from Greensboro to High Point for anything needed in the future! Clay was so patient and helpful during a stressful time.

AWESOME auto care center! I am a single woman and felt like I got taken advantage of every time I walked into an auto center. There was always something more wrong than just an oil change. Jonathan spoke to me with respect and didnt try to sale me something I didnt need. He was extremely helpful to resolve an issue that I had been dealing with for over a year. I will definitely take my car there every time!
This place is great. Came in for a an oil change and alignment. The girl working the counter, a manager I believe, was so incredibly nice. She was very clear on breaking down the cost and making sure I knew what I was being charged for. I would totally reccomend this place and especially her to anyone needing some work or maintenance on their car.

From the start Jennifer understood that I needed to minimize my investment in what is a 15 year old car. I knew that it was misfiring even before I connected my own OBD tool; it said two cylinders out of eight were misfiring. Precision Tune quickly diagnosed it as defective coils. As a matter of fact their equipment found a third coil starting to fail. Anybody can fix your car. I need someone like Jennifer white whom I can trust. A+ guys, and thanks for the install of the headlights. Night and day difference...The motor oil in the power steering reservoir is our little secret. I took my car to precision auto Care on South main St. In high point, NC to get my rotors fixed. Because the guys were nice, I thought that they would do a good job on my car. I left with the rotors fixed but the car driving the worse its every driven since Ive had the car! When they were putting the rotors back on the car, an intrcal piece was broken that wasnt broken before so in addition to paying for the rotors I had to pay for that as well. They charged me almost $1000.00! I couldnt take my car back home the same day I took it there. I had to leave it there overnight in order for them to finish fixing my car. Obviously they didnt check behind their work! I work two jobs and my time off is very limited and to drive away with a car in worse shape than I got it is unacceptable! Please do not take your car here! You will get over charged and ripped off!
I was given a rough estimate over the phone that turned out to be $50 less than what I was told when I was about to drop my car off. They were also trying to charge $50 for a belt that the parts store right next door was selling for $20. Thats over 100% markup and absolutely ridiculous. Honesty is obviously not their strong suit.

Im just overall disappointed with this location since Clay left. Took one of our cars for a simple oil change next thing you know they hand us stripped lug nuts. This particular car is less than 6 months old.Why were you taking the tire off 😡😡😡. Clay had been taking care of my vehicles for the past 8 years. Without Clay your business and reputation will continue to suffer.
I have been servicing my two vehicles at this location for 12+ years. The staff and technicians are highly professional. The shop is well equipped in helping and maintaining all automobile related needs. I am very happy with their work and recommendations I receive maintaining my cars.
Problem with a transmission seal on a 2002 Toyota Highlander all wheel drive. Once diagnosed, it took about 2 1/2 hours to fix. The car is no longer leaking all its tranny fluid onto the street. They do quick, Competent work. I will use them again.
Would recommend this place to anyone!! They do solid work for a fair price!! If something is wrong with your vehicle they make it right. Would even trust them to work on my grandmas car.
Fellas helped me figure out a lot of problems with my 2003 Ranger. I like that it’s not just robotic business to them. The staff and mechanics have a personality..for instance the other day they paid extra attention to my girlfriends SAAB...no one has a SAAB..lol They have treated me right ever since I moved into the area.
