Sunrise books Is the most beautiful book shop staffed and ran by intelligent women. Ive spent hours there peering over books and having conversations while petting the store cat, Poe.Friendly, knowledgeable, professional the list goes on! I only buy books from Sunrise.

Very basic, conservative book store. They were very nice and even had a store cat wandering around looking for head scratches.

I was pleasantly surprised when I visited Sunrise Books. The selection is good with titles for all age groups. I didnt purchase anything on my first visit but I will be going back.

Quaint bookstore. Very calm and relaxing. I go in and chat with staff or just sit and read. They have a store kitty named Poe, who is cuddly if you like or he just stays to himself. Angela, the owner, can order books if she doesnt have them. There are also several book clubs that have been started. Sunrise Books is a great addition to the High Point community

I was very disappointed. I went in hoping to spend money but right from the start I felt like the person working didnt want to be there. I was hoping as an independent bookstore that the person would have at least greeted me. I wasnt asked if I needed help, and pretty much felt unwelcome. I spent time there even sitting down perusing the books, wondering if maybe she was busy. When I went to pay she didnt say anything, just went to ring me up and tell me the total. As a book lover, I was hoping for better customer service especially for a small independent bookstore. Other than that, the books are well stocked and theres a decent variety.

The lady that works there is very nice,kind and respectful she asked about how I was doing she didnt just treat me as another sale and that shows me she really cares about others and dosent just try to push same.I will continue to refer people there!😳
