We ordered cabinets, recommended by our builder Heritage Home Builders (must have been getting some kick back), the cabinets came in, the installer was a nightmare to work with, cabinet doors, to this day do not close right or sit plum on the cabinets, they are soft close but need to be push in to close so what is the point. Please get your cabinets some place else as this cabinet maker makes junk with a supposedly good name., what an expensive joke. Buyer beware and stay clear of Heritage home builders in Myrtle Beach if they want you to choose these cabinets.
There is a serious lack of Quality Control at this factory. Doesnt matter how much they produce or how big the plant is, they still approve faulty work and it gets shipped out to the company that the customer purchased it from. Then they offer to band aid their poor workmanship, after its been delivered to the customer. Hindsight is 20-20, and they should be addressing the issue on the factory floor, not down the road when it arrives in the customers home. You wont get what you pay for here, its that simple. I spent $711.00 on a small bathroom vanity cabinet, and they painted over defects in their sub-graded plywood. The doors are warped and the false drawer wobbles like its about to fall off the cabinet. Yeah, theyve been taking money from hard working people for over a hundred years, but they still dont make quality part of their products.
I work at marsh furniture
Zero stars. Our builder forced us to use this company. Tony was an absolute nightmare to work with and is unable to do simple math so make sure you ask for an itemized invoice and triple check the numbers before you pay. Cabinets were installed improperly and the pulls werent level. Cabinets were also chipped and cracked upon installation. We asked that it all be fixed prior to closing.. they made some minor adjustments that we still werent happy with but we were at the end of our patience dealing with them so we left it. Weve lived in our house for five months and the cabinets are already slipping out of place and misaligned. If you have a choice, do not use this company.
Worst place Ive ever worked, people are hateful, uncaring of employees and not understanding of what they are going through.
Be careful dealing with this company. We ordered a full kitchen of cabinets. On delivery we were short one base cabinet. First we were told it was backordered. How do you have a backorder if you make the product? Later we were told they forgot to make the cabinet. Here we sit with a condo full of cabinets uninstalled and no word when we will received the missing cabinet. I would not recommend this company. UPDATE Upon inspection we found three of the cabinets delivered were the wrong size. We have bee waiting now two weeks on them. Our two day remodel is now in its 5th week and still missing three cabinets. Terrible company as far as communication.
We looked at several cabinet lines for a second home before choosing Marsh. This includes distributors/resellers and big box guys. We believed Marsh had the best bang for the buck. They handle all aspects of the process from design to manufacturing to installation. Buyers of cabinets should not underestimate the importance of a quality installation. Even the best cabinets poorly installed will not look right or function properly. I should also mention that we did elect to upgrade to all plywood construction which improves the overall quality and stiffness of the cabinets. We discovered some post installation issues (missing decorative toe kick facing and two knobs) for which Marsh provided replacements at no cost. I do not consider these missing elements a problem with Marsh. In all likelihood these items were installed but subsequently found “legs” and left the job site. As such, we did not believe that Marsh was under any obligation to provide free replacements. Needless to say we were very pleased with their post sale service. We’ve been using the cabinets for about a month and have been very pleased with the look and overall quality of the Marsh product. If you are looking for cabinetry that is reasonably priced and of average or better quality you should consider the Marsh product.
I guess fine I don’t remember
They take long time to load trailers. 32hr and still loading.
The custom department is amazing. Serious craftsmen.
I was at Marsh Furniture Company because I worked there for 22 years before I became disabled. To me they were like my family always taking of me . They were like that to everyone. They have been around since 1906 I know they treat us great and do the same for the customer who buys the beautiful cabinets that they make. I know a lot of work goes into it I made door on a machine for 22 and when. I left it was like I lost my family. I can speak nothing but good about Marsh Furniture Company Mollie, Reid, and Edwin some of the great people I got to work for. Thanks Marsh Furniture CompanyWilliam
Cabinets were installed 3 years ago and are not holding up. Stain is blotchy and chips really easy. Already have a door that is warped.
We used Marsh cabinets in our kitchen remodel eight years ago and have been very happy with that choice. Asking them for a proposal for our new mother-in-law addition was an easy decision and Im happy to say our loyalty has been rewarded. Carol Van Zile was our sales consultant. She was knowledgeable, efficient, creative, and professional and did what she said shed do when she said shed do it. Jeremy, the installer, was pleasant, experienced, and capable and placed a big exclamation point on a start-to-finish good job. We love our new cabinets and appreciate Marshs contribution to our project.R. Gordon Greensboro, NC
Cabinets look nice but one door fell apart after one week. The company sent a new one to the company we purchased the cabinets through (Tindells), but they wouldnt take care of having it installed. Not good customer service and obviously not good quality.
We had a new kitchen installed a year ago . I am not impressed with the cabinets, The company that installed them had to have several doors replaced after we got them because they had flaws, I paid an extra 900 for white cabinets And wouldn’t you think if you was paying to have them painted they would have enough paint on them ( not), the company who put them in Said I could always paint them, I don’t think so that’s why I paid to have them painted !! they are cheap cabinets if I ever put cabinets in another house it won’t be Marsh . I love the fact that they’re made in America but they need to really take care of their customers better than they do!!
Bought a custom vanity and an over toilet storage cabinet. Quality is less than expected for the money - looks cheap like it is prefabricated from a box store. Installation was subpar. They installed the vanity crooked and we had to have them come back and fix it. They also installed the over toilet storage not centered over the toilet and so high it was almost touching the ceiling. They had to come back and redo that and left holes in the walls that I had just paid to have painted. Now I have to patch the holes and repaint. The cabinet has exposed staples. The vanity was scuffed during their installation and that was not fixed. The soft close feature is not smooth and is noisy. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. This was our first and last time with Marsh. We will go back to Poindexter where we have previously purchased cabinetry and have been very happy with the quality of product.
Would love to give them zero stars. Not impressed with the quality- especially for what we paid. Additionally, they refuse to install hardware or fix installation issues simply because we had them painted. Horrible customer service and we had a rep who did NOT listen to our requests, did what he thought would be best. Then, we we asked him to fix it, he delayed us 3 weeks and still didn’t fix the problem. Miserable.
Been in business since 1960, great work environment. Great people.
Absolutely the worst customer service i have experienced in the building industry . I needed the name of the cabinet door hinge manufacture to replace 2 broken hinges and they told me I would have to go through my builder because they dont deal with the public?????
Nice people not the right pay
Marsh cabinets have been the highest quality cabinets of any installed in the homes Ive lived in over the years.
If I could leave zero stars I would. We are currently building a home in Hillsborough, NC and our builder chose Marsh Furniture as our cabinet and countertop supplier. We met with Tony Andrews April 2, 2018 to make our selections for our home. We have nothing to complain about during our first interaction with him. This is where things go downhill. We asked Tony for a breakdown of the cost of our selections so we could stay within our set budget. He provided us with a “general idea” of the cost of each upgrade we selected but no matter how many times we asked for a detailed breakdown of cost (verbally over the phone or via email) we were met with silence.Fed up with his non responsiveness and down right lack of customer service I contacted the head of customer service, India, with Marsh Furniture to explain our areas of concern and disappointment with our experience with Tony. I guess it’s a company wide policy to ignore patrons because I never got a response from her either.Fast forward almost two months and still no response. A week ago our builder told us the counter tops that were ordered for our master bath were not cut for the faucets we ordered and that we would need to change our faucets. We questioned the time like he was provide by Tony for the sign off and ordering and Tony provided him with the wrong dates, we made sure to time and date stamp every bit of this process in fear of incidents like this. So, Tony and Marsh Furniture refuse to correct the mistake and we are currently stuck with the countertops that were drilled incorrectly. Oh and the cost to fix it has been quoted to us as $230, we are spending over $13k with them....I highly doubt I will get a response from this review, but you can bet we will tell every person we come in contact with not to do business with Marsh Furniture.
Great job people are good
Really great people
A great place to work and earn some money if you know people.
They work the hell out of men like slaves on a plantation.
Our cabinets in our condo are lovely!
BUYERS BEWARE! Iwould give them a zero if I could. Quality of cabinets are horrible. They are basic builders grade cabinets at custom cabinets prices as confirmed by the installers employee Rocco from Staten Island. The installer which is their only seller in my area which I wish I would of known cause that is a warning just in itself and I can see why. They are thieves that just take your money and do not want to deal with quality issues that the cabinets have on installaction which is amazing since they also offer a warranty which is useless since they dont even correct issues on install problems.. There representative Harold flew in, came to my house and agreed with me on the issues. I was then sent new doors with different issues and they are refusing to do anything about it. Not to mention that when him and the representative from staten island kitchen came to my house they so nicely mentioned that they wanted to see the conditions I lived in as to transfer blame to me for the issues. And now Harold is lying and stating there were no issues to begin with and doesnt return my calls. Doors are warped, cabinets are chipped, glaze is missing just to name a few issues. Thats a man of true character. So I called Marsh weeks ago and spoke to India Stewart who told me she had issues too with the cabinets that she installed in her house from her company Marsh and understood and would look into it and call me back with a resolution. Its been 4 weeks and she hasnt called back or returned my calls.. I would not trust them at all. They are thieves. Like the installers employee Marcos told me you need to learn to close your eyes cause these are the problems and they do nothing to fix it. Well Im not closing my eyes. And another instant who came told me that.they have same issues with alot of customers who complain and get nowhere. DO NOT BUY FROM MARSH AND SAVE YOURSELF ALOT OF HEADACHES AND MONEY! I could have bought Chinese made cabinets that were better quality and half the price.. Instead of correcting the problems they try and shift blame onto the buyer.
You might not want to put your business name in the same line for the same business association with Marche furniture okay cuz I used to be a mechanic for 2 years believe me I saw what was going with these cheap cabinets.
Wow...I have Marsh kitchen cabinets that are de-laminating...guess the heat from the self clean oven is too much for them. A trip to the dealer got no help...emails to other dealers shown on their web site go unanswered. A call to the factory customer service was more than interesting...their reply was.. they dont let us deal with customers...This is a product that you need to avoid ....too bad didnt really want cabinets from China ...but sure dont need more of Marsh,
The most beautiful place is in the Kitchen
Family own good people to work for.
Quality of cabinets is horrible! Stain is splotchy, and uneven. Had to replace 9 doors because they were warped, and they still don’t shut properly. If they weren’t put in by the builder I would never purchase cabinets from this company.
Poorly finished cabinets. Will not be going back.
That place is a slave hold the quality of the furniture is cheaply made management as in supervisors are rude and unprofessional do not apply or buy anything from them
