Wow, fantastic selection. Last time I was here was in 1982. I was impressed then and even more impressed this time. Great prices and great selection of decorating fabrics. They have online shopping as well. Owner was very helpful and friendly. Store is well lit and clean. Plenty of parking.

TONS of beautiful fabrics and very reasonable prices. The discounted fabrics aisle at the back of the store was larger and had more selection than any Ive ever seen. The staff was helpful AND the entire store is air-conditioned for the customers comfort, unlike many large fabric stores. Will most definitely be a repeat customer!

I am not much of a fabric guy but I was looking for some exterior furniture fabric and went to see what they had. Nice selection and good prices. What really shined was the friendly staff. I like this place.

I wonder if store in WS closed for the lack of friendliness and custoner service etics of the staff.usually they could care less one way or the other if we go back or not.if store goes under they just moved to the nxt job.

The first time I walked into 1502, I was speechless! It is a huge store filled with endless inspiration and thousands of designer fabrics...with prices as low as $4.99 a yard! Many decorative trims and pillow forms including down (hard to find anywhere else!). Very helpful, friendly staff. They can also custom make window treatments, bedding and other products! One of my favorite places to shop!

Great selection of reasonably priced fabrics. We couldnt find what we were looking for in Raleigh or Wake Forest so we made the 1.5 hour drive to Hickory. Were glad we made the trip and returned home with the fabric we had been looking for.

If you love fabric this is your place. Upholstery fabric is plenty. If youre wanting fabric to make clothes not your kind of store. They do have some things but it is mostly large print solid color nice upholstery fabric. I found exactly what I was looking for.

TERRIBLE customer service! I order several samples and was charged $80 for them. 3 months later I still had not received them in the mail. Finally received only half of what I had ordered.Because of the delay, I had a very short window to have my sofa recovered before our moving date. I spoke directly to the owner, Jim, to place my order. He gave me a date that I would receive the order. I did receive it on time -but when I went to pick it up he had charged me $38 for a quick delivery-which he NEVER asked me if that was ok. He also made every excuse in the book for dropping the call so to speak with me, instead of just owning up to it and apologizing. I have no idea how he stays in business with this type of customer service!!

I walked in and was immediately greeted by staff. The selection of fabrics are great and the layout is intuitive! The design service from the ladies was excellent and they took their time to help me. They have impeccable taste. I definitely recommend coming here!

I have shopped here for over 10 years. The staff are always extremely helpful, the selection is awesome, and the price per yard is the lowest in the state. My friends are shocked when they see my beautiful curtains and bedspreads and learn the price for them.

My mom and I went to the store yesterday in search of fabric that we needed more of. We had been searching for awhile and they had it! We also were looking for other fabrics and they were very helpful. Nice selection. We will be back!

Horrible service! I went by the store yesterday and there were two workers were chatting at the front of the store when I arrived. No one spoke to me when I arrived. I walked the entire store and saw what I wanted, but at no time did anyone acknowledge my presence. I walked past the two employees that were still engaged in their conversation. I walked out of the store and took my business to Leisure Fabrics where everything is $5.00 a yard. Found what I needed and was given great service. Thanks 1502 for showing me how grateful you are my business.

SO glad I went here for fabric! Needing to get fabric to recover a 9 couch, I headed to 1502. Once in the door, I was instructed that everything is by color, so in that direction I headed. Once there, I found some things that I was fond of, but nothing that particular made my heart flutter. I asked for a bit of help and some guidance on the 2 items I had selected. When I described the couch and environment, she said, oh, well have have some really durable items in the back. We went to the back and what a wonderful find! There are items there that are primarily made of recycled materials and almost indestructible! Our staff person was so very patient and offered swatches so I could take them out into the sun to see them in a different light and waited patiently for me to decide....it took a minute. I ultimately made a decision and my couch is beautiful! Thank you 1502!

I went in for some specific fabric and had a great experience. 1502 still has that family atmosphere that I appreciate, especially now a days. Its hard to find a local place that cares about doing business in their community.

Love, Love this store. This is one of the few fabric stores available in NC. EXTREAMILY LARGE SELECTION of QUALITY FABRICS. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, good clearance section. Resourceful staff, they know just about where to find ANYTHING you describe in their store. If the merchandise is not available, the staff checks at the Winston-Salem store to see if its available and or will attempt to order it for you. I drive from Charlotte, NC up to this store regularly. This store reminds me of an UP SCALE VERSION OF CLOTH WORLD in Charlotte, NC during the 1970s AND THE DURA LEE Discount fabric center on LONG ISLAND, NY. Great store and staff.

The customer service was amazing. Everyone took their time trying to help me find exactly what i was looking for, cutting me samples, and showing me around. I will definitely be going back when its time to redecorate again!
