Horrible. Do not, I repeat DO NOT shop here. Old man Jenkins was very rude (he’s probably stuck in the 50s) I’m very confused to how this establishment is still in business. Sooner or later that old man will regret how nasty and rude he was. Life must of really got to him fast and I’m thinking about it while I write this review he probably doesn’t have much time left. Certainly wouldn’t spend my last days being disrespectful to customers.(Customers - the people who keep your business running)

Horrible service. The old gentleman was very rude to my grandson. I called before he went in and the lady was very nice over the phone but old gentleman had a bad attitude and wasn’t helpful to my grandson at all. Pushed him out the store and rushed him out. That’s not good business, other clients even noted that he wasn’t very helpful to my grandson. I wouldn’t suggest this place, they don’t have a welcoming environment.

I was blown away by the selection of sulver, gold and collectables. I normally purchase from bullion dealer on line because I like options and now days most coin shops or pawn shops either dont have much to choose from or want the highest prices for what they do have. This place has a huge selection. The prices are comparable when you factor shipping cost, taxes anf waiting for the delivery. Super friendly people to tip it off. If you are into metals this place is worth the drive. Highly recommend.

Contacted over the weekend about getting an appraisal on my recently deceased mothers coin collection and was told to bring it by on Monday, showed up Monday morning and was asked to come back after 2pm, showed up a little after 2pm and the place was closed so I called and was tod oh yea I didnt know we closed at 2 same person I spoke to that morning practical Antonio there car just after I got off the phone. So I wasted almost an entire day off during a time when my company doesnt let me have any time off. If they were going to just avoid me they could have at least told me over the weekend or that morning so I didnt waste hours waiting to come back, after they were closed.

They have the most beautiful jewelry among the other pawnshop.

My encounter at Coins and Stuff was very brief but was bad enough to move me to write a review. The staff COULD NOT have been more rude or condescending, particularly the gentlemen I was dealing with. I simply wanted to have a ring appraised. There was no “hey, how are you” when I came in. He looked at my ring and basically insulted me by offering me $1 (the ring is sterling silver and diamond. It’s not massive but it is not worthless either). I politely asked why the value was so low. He proceeded to use some jeweler terms that I wasn’t familiar with and when I (very nicely) asked him to help me understand what he was saying he literally rolled his eyes and started talking slowly and loudly as if he was speaking to a child. I am a fairly intelligent and well educated person and to be spoken to in such a condescending way by someone working in a business was shocking to me. I took my rings and left, obviously. But I guarantee I will NEVER set foot in there or do any business with this place just based on principle. Even if they had something I needed for a better price I wouldn’t shop there. So so so so so rude.

Bought a gold rope as a gift for my sister.Turned out to be to small.went back and was told that they would order a bigger size and I’ll just pay the difference. Was told the chain would be ordered the following week. Three weeks later Chain never ordered. The owner had told me each week that it will be the next week but it never happened. Customer service is very lacking and I have been going there since I was a child and spending money. I hate to say that they have lost a customer. In business money can not always be the bottom line. Making your customer happy should be number 1 and coins and stuff just doesn’t care about the customer.And make sure the gold you buy is real!!!!There have been occasions where Bobby has sold fake gold as real

Not a good place to buy a gun. Allow me to explain.I moved into the High Point area from Raleigh a few months back and I had an excellent FFL business who did my transfers. Given that I moved into the area I thought I would use a local business and try it out. I bought a completed AK receiver and had it shipped to this location (since receivers need to be taken by FFL. I had no choice pretty much..) and it went there or so it said.UPS marked the package as delivered, I thought okay. I give a call and see if I can come and pick it up. After being placed on hold for 30 some minutes I get told that it was never delivered to the store and I tried to say that it was but well... evidently not. I spoke to someone in UPS and they confirmed that it was delivered there unless the delivery person performed a EXCELLENT sleigh of hand maneuver and got the package back somehow after it was signed for... It should still be there.I have tried going into the store to talk to the person who does the FFL transfers but hes either 1). gone or 2). there when I cant come in due to the fact I work as a NP at Wake Forest Medical. Its been pretty much a game of phone tag.For the trouble Ive been through. Ive decided to get my own FFL and get my orders shipped to my place.. Too much trouble with a business like this.

My husband and I went in there yesterday for the first time and they were extremely nice and helpful! We stayed for over an hour talking and getting advice to make sure we were making a good decision on our purchase. The place was clean and well organized. We will definitely go back there!

Matter of fact most city employees as well as city police shop at coins an stuff they run a very great DRUG free environment an is ran strictly by the law so please do not pay attention to the negative drama coins an stuff did nothing wrong an future reference they are very professional

Someone is confused here. I have been doing business with Coins-N-Stuff for over 30 years and have found them to be not only fair and honest, but I have personally witnessed the owner actually giving money to people in need. In fact, I know of an entire tractor trailer load of food, clothing, and medical supplies that he purchased himself and shipped to the Gulf Coast after Katrina. I will not buy gold, silver, or jewelry from anyone else.

I have been doing business with this place for some time now and I initially was not impressed on my first visit, however; I have gotten to know the owner and he does an exceptional job of taking care of his customers to make sure they are satisfied.

I guarantee you the people that are writing these bad reviews pawned or sold something then didnt pay attention to their loan and it got pulled. Bobby and his father (the owners) are no nonsense type of people but also they will give you the shirt off their back. Ive literally seen them take a couple across the street to food lion and feed then instead if taking their wedding rings ikn pawn. Most people that are soft spoken or timid dont know how to shoot straight and approach them and they go and write a bad review. Let me give you a tip I you shoot straight and communicate they will bend over backwards to help you but they are not mind readers. I will say at times their prices can be a bit higher than other places but from what Ive observed and know about business when you deal in the mass volume they do prices are going to be a little higher because of the subsequent overhead. Ive had a coin collection in pawn with then for over a year and by all accounts they should or could have pulled it 9 months ago but I fell on hard times and because I communicated with them they actually have my pawn items on hold until I get back to work and can come get them. I have done business with them for almost a decade now and will continue to do so. I know how to communicate with people and am not shy or timid about asking questions or communicating with them. You shouldnt either they are just human beings like you its ok to ask questions.

The prices here are horrible. I wish I had read the reviews before I wasted my time here. The woman was nice and helpful but the man did almost nothing except try to over-sale me things. They tried to sell me a no name, generic 1 oz silver bar for $9 over spot. I wouldnt pay $9 over spot for an APMEX bar less a generic bar. They were selling eagle silver coins for $12 over spot which is also ridiculous. Ive bought these for $1 over spot before. Even an uncirculated one shouldnt go $2 to $3 over spot. I wasnt look at the rare ones or anything. The owner tried to sell me some BS that coins cost more. All I care about is the silver. If that is the case then please explain to why the generic 1 oz bar was the same as the 1 oz generic Christmas coins (Both $9 over spot)? The owners must have thought I was stupid or new to this. Im never going back there ever again.

I would love to give something lower than a 1star. This guy that runs it is a complete crook! I took a $5000 wedding ring to have a loan taken on it ($200) mind you and he sold it without even calling me! I am working with the police and BBB and a lawyer but please do not be scammed like I was! He could have cared less and lied and told me he didnt have my phone number (total lie) and didnt know what my ring looked like! Total scammer and he needs to be shut down. Look at all the other terrible reviews!

This place does not deserve one star. Do not buy or sell here. I first called the store to ask some questions about selling gold coins. The guy I spoke to was very rude and unpleasant. I went to several other places, which were very hospitable. After doing some research on a particular coin and getting two offers elsewhere, I decided to give them a try, since I thought they would be more knowledgeable about coins. BIG MISTAKE.. This guy was 100 times worse in person. He definitely thinks hes Gods gift to mankind and treated me like a complete idiot. He basically laughed in my face when I told him what I had been offered. Told me he wouldnt even come close to what I was asking and as I was speaking to him, he just walked away and went back to looking at pictures on his computer. I was obviously wasting his precious time. The really sad part is that I have a huge collection of gold and silver that I need to sell. We have been buying coins for over 20 years. I will NEVER step foot in that establishment again, and will advise everyone I know to steer clear of this place. I dont care if they are family owned...or if theyve been in business for 100 years. They are rude, unfriendly, and have zero respect for their customers. Some people just have no common sense when it comes to treating customers like they are important...like they are the reason you make money in the first place. Overall, a horrible experience and my advice would be to scratch this place and find someone who has some social skills of some type. This coin expert definitely needs some serious consultants to help him realize that respect and friendliness go a long way in making loyal customers want to return. I am actually upset with myself for tolerating this treatment and then just walking out the door pretty much stunned at the way I was treated. I wish I had told him off and let him know what a creep he was. But, honestly, I seriously doubt he would care. Bottom line: This place is a waste of time and youll be treated like a bother for walking through the door. BEWARE and pay attention to my warning.
