Very disappointed here the windshield washer fluid has never been changed and it isnt even washer fluid its just dirty water obviously people use this to wash their cars gas prices are cheaper here other than that not too shabby

I’m always there and I’ve never seen such great customer service, and every customer in the store had a grin walking out saying hello or goodbye to her. If this place wasnt so close to my home and one of the far and few between places with reasonable gas and cigarette prices, I would never set foot in this place. I have been going there for years, and I cringe every time I do. I try to avoid it, but every once in awhile, its the most convenient at the time. So I bite the bullet and go in. Id rather pay a little more elsewhere to be treated with respect. The employees are consistently rude...really really rude. And its not just one of them, theyre all like that, and have been since I started going there about 6 years ago. My most recent visit which was a few weeks ago, and it had been awhile since I had been in there, was absolutely horrible. Not only was the cashier as usual rude and acted like she was doing me a favor, but they have a rack display in the middle of the floor right in front of the insanely crowded cashier counter, with hats, mittens, etc....I was standing in line waiting, waiting, waiting, like you always do there, when some guy who was leaving the register area didnt see it. He nearly knocked it over, as well as me. Which was witnessed by everyone...I said something when it was my turn at the cashier about this safety hazard, and that pleasant women snapped that I needed to call corporate headquarters about it. I will absolutely NEVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN, under any circumstance. Stay away from this awful place.

If I could give this zero stars I would. My parents had expressed that the people at this gas station are incredibly rude, but I figured everyone has a bad day right? I’m sure they will be fine. Well I was wrong. We just left. It’s 7/23/20 at 11:05AM. The women who rang us up was beyond rude. She ignored my fathers question about how to put in his number for points. She yelled hello at us when it took us a second to process something she said (we all had masks on, and my boyfriend and I are harder of hearing). It was a horrible experience. Apparently my parents have complained before and it’s not been taken care of.The man who was also working the counter seemed to be pleasant enough based on watching his interactions, to be fair.

People here are the rudest I have ever witnessed at a store. Its worse than a place where the cashier is on their phone and ignores you. These people are angry that youre coming in here to spend your money, which means they actually have to work. Out of the last 10 times or so Ive come here, not one time have the employees been nice.

Bathroom is filthy and smells horrible. The people are rude and slow. The soda machines dont work properly. They obviously dont care.UPDATE: Well I decided to visit here again to get gas, twice, and they seem to have solved the bathroom problem by closing the bathrooms completely, both times. Must be closed permanently. I drive for work and when I stop for gas I need the bathroom also. I wont return here!

We had a register person who was very rude to us plus she did not even put the right price in our gas pump she did not put it in our pump 15 she puts it in 18 it was a big mixed up and then she throws our change to us instead of putting it in over hand😡

The employees are hypocrites here I when in they didnt have there mask on then when I went to buy something they put there mask on and told me the I need a mask before they will sell me anytime.First time there and last time!

I purchase E85 for my vehicle and this the only gas station in the are that sells this fuel which is convenient for me, that did had the issue of these pumps taking forever to pump but its been two months since they fixed that issue, night people can be a little more friendly but I understand its the night shift. Over all great gas station clean, well stocked. Love the rewards program .

Cheap smokes, compared to Chicago (30 minute drive). Good gas prices. Well lit, and clean facility. Only 4 stars because staff here is less than friendly. Speed is their mission, not smiles.

On 7/6/2020 visited this gas. My children would like ice cream cones. We were waiting in the line, but suddenly the manager Dru aggressively cried at us and refused to serve us without any reason.

I will gladly pay the few extra sense to go across the street and not give them my business. They make up rules as they go along and on several occasions have Had a line going out the door while two cashiers we’re talking and only one was working. The one that was working was confused. Maybe she needs new glasses

This lady in the morning sue is very rude I dodge her I try my best not to be in her line shes snatched the money out of my hands more than 1 occasion, she argues with customers, and says racist stuff. I do not like her.

Watch out this place is nasty employes are rude pumps are gross and the worst part is that “WATCH OUT” when you use a credit card or debit card. You will be scam at the pump, is been twice my card has been compromised after using my card for gas at this gas station, I have been robed and whoever did, left my acct with cero dollars nada, and charges appear like I bought something in Best Buy with my last balance, this has been very upsepting is my hard working money, if I decided to go to this gas station I will pay cash or go somewhere else is disgusting, I am still trying to get my money back filling a dispute with my bank, but is not easy, these thief know what and how to scam you, I always motice the security seal at pump remove or non existing and a couple of times went inside to report this, if my bank fail to return my money, I will go to the polices to press charges, because someone at this gas station is doing it. Never coming back. She apparently couldnt understand my Spanish accent when I was trying to pay everything in cash and end up charging me in cash and my card. There is some older guy, tall with mostly dark hair who always stands outside smoking. He is an employee according to his shirt. He always smells like weed. Day in and day out he is standing, smoking and being high.

Leaving thus gas station was the best part. I use this spot only for theyre Gass the I thing else. I have read the some of the complaints a out the customer service and most of its true. The customer service discuss horrible and needs a major overhaul....

I called to find out a price of American spirits because I was in the area and normally have to pay almost 13 a pack in cook county and the guy was very very rude so I just called next door to the shell station and had no issues finding out the price and bought 80 bucks worth of cigarettes. this happened on Nov 29 at 12:03 AM so it had to of been the 3rd shift employee. very rude. I even asked a round about price range and the guy hung up on me!!!! I grew up in the south where If a business doesnt have good customer service, then they will never see me again. same here . Ill never go to this gas station and I will tell every single person I know not to as well

Went in for a breakfast sandwich at 4:30 am the gal behind the counter just made some. I ask what sandwiches are ready. She we dont sell theme to 5:30 am. And wouldnt sell any. So Thorntons just lost a customer,.

Some employees are ok but some in there are real pieces of work.. one guy just doenst know how to smile... his demeanor is like he wants to knock someones head off. Lol.. others just dont care for customer service AT ALL. But the good ones make up for the gas station experince.... for the most part clean and well stocked store .. but that damn gas price just jacked up like 30 cents. :/.. lol

This gas station has HORRIBLE customer service. Although their gas and cig prices are not bad at all because it is Lake County, the people that work at this gas station are rude, not willing to help and always have an excuse about why they suck at their jobs. I pre paid $50 in the store off my debit card and ended up only using $45 of the $50. When I went back in the store to ask for my $5 like I do at every other gas station they refused to give it back to me and told me that it would be refunded to my card. This made no sense to me considering that a debit card is used the same way as cash. So are they telling me that if I used cash that I would have to wait for a refund to? Point is, I still have not received my $5 credit and it has been over a week, they told me 2 days. Thorntons says they are all about the customer but thats bullshit. When I call the customer service number all I get is an automated messaging system telling me to leave a message and they will call back in 2 hours! THATS BULLSHIT AS WELL. Thorntons suck and I will no longer be going there, at least not if I dont have cash on me. THIS PLACE SUCKS!

They sell carwashes when you pay at the pump, but the car washes arent done at this gas station. Theyre for an off-site car wash location that has limited hours that differs from the gas station.

Okay service, employees walking around not knowing what to do, there was a gross mound of black snow outside, with empty cigarette boxes and other wrappers around it, but other than that it was clean and I was greeted into the store.
