If you want a safe, clean, climate controlled storage unit, then Extra Space Storage at 1620 Old Deerfield Road is for you. The private access codes and ability to drive right up to the storage unit made getting to our things extremely easy - there was even an indoor truck space to load/unload our truck during bad weather. We saw the staff making regular rounds to check on security.I recommend this storage company and appreciate how the friendly staff always answered our questions right away. It is the best of the 10+ storage units weve ever used, during our frequent work related moves. THANKS!

Warning! you will rent your space under a promotional deal and then they will subsequently jack up up your rates. I was originally paying $123/mth and received and email notice of payment every month. In less than a year they raised to $147 and then after 8 months raised to $176. They want you get your stuff in in their facility and then take advantage of the time and expense to move again. They claimed to have mailed notice of a rate increase however we dont recall receiving any such notice. When asked if they also emailed notice of a rate increase, of course the answer was no. Plan on this storage company costing at least 50% more than you expect.

Such a quick painless process, first call was to figure location desired and size needed.Then call with location manager and was shocked how fast it was completed.Very pleasant experience!

HIGHLAND PARK EXTRA SPACE STORAGE CLIMATE CONTROL WORKED OUT GREAT FOR ME ON THE 2ND FLOOR FOR MY STORAGE NEEDS. THE FACILITY IS CLEAN AND THE STAFF IS ALWAYS AROUND DURING THE DAY.EVERY RENTER HAS THEIR OWN SECURITY CODE TO OPEN THE GARAGE OVERHEAD DOOR AND TO USE THE ELEVATOR FOR SECURITY ALONG WITH MOUNTED CAMERAS THROUGHOUT.

KAIJA is the best. I have met her at the storage facility before and she is always friendly and helpful. Today she went above and beyond. I was at my unit for a while. When I came down my tire was flat. I got the tire off, but the jack broke and could not get the spare on. Kaija not only brought me a jack to use, she put the spare on for me. She should be highly commended for her efforts. And she smile the entire time.I have had a unit there since 2015, and have been happy.This was special. Thank you again Kaija.

This place worked out great for my short term storage needs. I used Extra Space Storage when I moved from one house and had a two week gap before I could move into the other. The place is easy to get to and well situated in the Highland Park/Deerfield area. I rented 2 units. They are indoors, temperature controlled and easy to access from 6a - 10p. It seemed very safe both for me and my things, The staff is super friendly and helpful too. I definitely recommend this place for storage needs.

This is the only place to rent a storage space in Highland Park. The facility is centrally located right off of 41 and Deerfield Road. The staff are terrific. They are professional, friendly, and courteous. They are always looking for ways to help. Their goal is to make your experience an 11 on a scale of 1-10.The facility is clean and secure. I have always felt safe in the building regardless of whether I am there at 6 AM or 10 PM. The building and drive aisles are clean and free of dirt or trash. The bathroom is always sparkling. I have rented here for a number of years and expect to be here for a number more.I recently upgraded to a larger unit (my fifth move) and Barb made the process smooth and easy. If you need a storage this is the only place to rent.

John was extremely helpful. We just finished with our storage unit. John frequently checked on us to see how he could be most helpful including ensuring that we could use the loading areas and to ensure we always remembered our codes. He was even proactively in making sure we prorated our billing appropriately so we didnt overpay. The facility was very clean, well maintained, and easy to use.

I had a great experience. I stored my belongings for 10 months. Management provided friendly and professional customer service. At one time, I lost my keys to the storage. The management immediately came along my side, severed the lock and allowed me to purchase a new lock from their office. I was then able to keep a spare key at their office.

I rented a space from Extra Space Storage for 5 years for my business. It was the best decision I could have made! The facility is clean, well lighted, easy to get to...I had international shipments arrive to the office, they placed them in my unit for me. I had clients pick-up from the office, the staff was always super helpful to my clients and made sure the items were secure behind their counter until the pick-up happened. Kathleen and the rest of the crew showed complete attention to all of my requests...and I had a lot. Paying a bit extra for the drive lane was well worth it!!
