I found two of what I needed at the Pleasant Grove store. They called and found two more at the Lone Peak store. When I arrived, the cashier said, Are you Mike? Ill ring you up here. Love the hospitality!

I live close to this store. They are awesome over there. Been there many times.

I typically only visit this Ace Hardware when Im in the area and dont feel like driving the extra 10 to 15 minutes to get to another big box store. I have a surprisingly large inventory for such a small store space. Prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly. They no longer offer popcorn (due to covid most likely) though I hope they bring it back soon.

Great place to find anything I need for my DIY projects or anything I need to do around the house. Definitely check it out if you are looking to do projects in the future.

Convenient hardware store but most prices are 25-50% higher than WalMart for similar things. I go knowing I will pay too much for batteries or most items. One thing is Ace stores are independent and if you buy something at another store, theres a chance they will not return it because they dont carry that item. Lots of Yeti items.

FIVE STAR SERVICE! I drove 20 miles to this Ace location in Highland, to pick up a specific propane heater, I needed immediately. Worked with a great young man, Stephen, who was very knowledgeable and helpful – and really went out of his way to assist me. It’s easy to see why this store has such high reviews. I shop at this store often and always have good experiences. Staff are friendly and ready to assist. They go above and beyond to make sure customers are happy. My kids definitely prefer hanging out with me at Ace over big box hardware stores. If Im headed to home depot they opt to stay home. If Im going to Ace they jump in the truck. Worst of all the Ace Hardware. There were literally five young people wearing the Ace Hardware vests, standing in a group cracking jokes. Meanwhile, as I tried looking for what I needed, I saw several customers looking lost, who couldve benefited from some customer service. I dont know where the Adults were, but that store needs someone to train and supervise better.

Why would you ever go to a different hardware store? Home depot? Lowes? Nope! Come here if you want helpful employees and a hometown feel. Ill go here any day over the big box hardware stores.

I come here quite often, but something is really off with the store this week. First Ruth should not allowed to work with customers. Other employees are friendly. One day I had workers at my house and I needed supplies but the store opened late because no one had a key.

I want to support local businesses but this place is subpar. All other ace stores I go to have fantastic employees. The young people are friendly but the old guys are only chatty and nice to their neighbors who they know. I have had a handful of bad experiences here and I live just down the road. They always seem busy which is good for I want them to survive but I think they can do better. I used to drive to the AF store but started coming here when they opened. It’s only been in the last two years that they have gone downhill. Hope they get better, it’s been convenient to hit kholers right after the hardware store.

Always have what I need a little $$$ so be prepared to pay 3 to 4 dollars more

I am so impressed with Ace! My only regret is all the years I wasted with Home Depot and Lowes. The Lone Peak location was sparkling clean and has that irresistible project smell and an upbeat and friendly staff. Exceptionally well organized floor plan with all the aisles clearly marked, and better prices than those other stores I mentioned. Its no wonder they say: Ace is the place with the helpful hardware folks! I cant wait to return

As with every Ace hardware - all of the employees are always super helpful. its a little out of the way for me... but if I need help trying to figure something out Id rather go there than try and talk to anyone at home Depot or Lowes. you never know what kind of answer youre going to get from those folks at the box stores...theyve now helped me choose the right fittings to reroute my gas pipe in my kitchen for my stove, as well help identify the best way to irrigate my back yard. thanks everybody

More selection in a small store than you think. Customer service is more active than larger stores.

I purchased a new EGO snow blower. They couldnt get to it right away so they delivered it to my home later in the day. Super friendly employees that went above and beyond.

These guys are very helpful. Often I am approached to see if I need any help, which is nice. Many of the staff have a lot of experience and so are a good resource for solving problems. I like that they have a wide variety of supplies even though their footprint is not that large. They are closer and definitely more helpful than the big box stores.2-18-20 Update. I was just in and received excellent help from Stephen!6-29-21. This really is the home of the helpful hardware “person”!

The Highland store folks are really helpful and friendly. I love to shop at the Highland store because of its home-town atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. In fact, I only shop elsewhere if they dont have what I need here.

This Ace Hardware is terrific. Every time I go there it reminds me of visits to Ace with my dad as a kid. Even though is it smaller than The Big Box stores, I have never been disappointed. They have what I need every time. Once, I brought in pictures of what was broken, and a man there took ten minutes to show me how to fix my sink drain plug, and saved me money by helping me buy just the exact part I needed instead of a whole new contraption. It is a convenient and super helpful place.

Love that you can order pool supplies that you cant find in other stores. Name brand stores are cleaned out but Ace had them in stock and even cheaper. Love curbside pickup.

Every time I walk into this store, Im greeted by an employee who asks me what Im looking for. Saves me a ton of time compared to walking into Home Depot or Lowes where you could wander for hours without receiving any service. Recently I received a new license plate and couldnt remove the screws from our current plate. I went to Ace Hardware to ask for advice on products to use. The store wasnt busy at the time and one of the employees said hed take a look at it personally. He came out and, using some products he had on hand, was able to remove the screws. Saved me a significant amount of time and in the end only charged me for two new screws to secure the license plate. I tipped him for his efforts and great customer service. I would highly recommend this Ace Hardware. Im a customer for life.

Knowing my way around a hardware store is not a thing. All of the ace employees are super helpful and help me find anything that I need. He can spend a few minutes here with the helpful staff or you can waste your time walking hours around Home Depot or Lowe’s

Always a person there to help you that knows exactly where everything is. Clean and just the right type of stuff you need. Not a cluster like other home improvement stores.

I dont think Ive ever been to a more helpful hardware store. I went in to pick up an online order. While I waited a couple of minutes for them to grab my order several other people came up to me to be sure I was being helped. Best service!

Best small hardware store around. Their biggest strength is their friendly and helpful employees. Seems like Im at Ace at least a couple times a month for something and I cant remember a visit that I didnt have an employee offer to help me find what I was looking for.Ace does not have everything that the big orange and big blue hardware stores have but they still have an amazing selection of hardware, parts, tools and bits and pieces I need for whatever project or repair Im working on at the moment.I cant recommend Ace in Highland enough!

I like Ace. I like that they have most everything I need at good prices. Theyve got a friendly staff and a clean store. Theyve got free popcorn ask the time without asking if I need a furnace tune-up. They also have a bunch of unique and delicious chocolate bars that always ends up in my shopping cart. These guys have great prices and great service. I am making some shelves and I was looking at their boards in the back. I explained that I was trying to make it look like pallets and the employee immediately offered to allow me to take some of the pallets that they had out back. While it may have lost them a small purchase for that day, it gained a loyal customer for life. Definitely the best customer service of any hardware store around.

Nice to have a Ace in town. The people are friendly and helpful. Selection pleasantly surprises me every time. Popcorn is a nice treat. I wish the hours were a bit longer, but its not hard to plan around.

Im always amazed that this smaller sized hardware store seems to have as big a selection as the big box stores. Staff is always very helpful. And their holiday sales are always really stellar...deals you cant find find anywhere else. (I bought a propane patio heater for $59 thats comparable to the ones at Costco that go for $319...I actually like it far better than the ones at Costco)Came to say this though: I bought an item there that didnt last as long as expected (manufacturer defect - nothing the store could have done to prevent it), I got busy with life and forgot about it in my basement for more than a year. I rarely return items to stores. But I Took it back without a receipt and asked if they could make it right. The store manager asked the manufacturer to help out and they declined, but the manager still gave me 100% of my purchase price in store credit. It doesnt get any better than that. Great customer service. These guys are great! 5 stars all the way!
