So happy I found Highland Cycles! After getting very frustrated with trying to buy two new tires for my bike. I wanted to bring my bike in and have them mounted and installed. I called one of the larger bike shops in the area and was told that they would sell me the tires but would not touch my bike. I have a 1986 GL1200 that is in really great shape with only 28K miles on it but was told it was too old and they would not touch it. They recommended another shop same story. He than recommended Highland Cycles and am I glad he did. From the moment I called them Wendy was so nice and helped me get an appointment for the following Monday. I also spoke to Paul and had a real good feeling before I ever set foot at the shop. I arrived at my appointment and was greeted by Lucky their black Lab. He was just the first to welcome me. As I walked to the counter Paul said you must be Kelsey and the fact that he took the time to know my name before he every met me was a nice change from most places. His wife Wendy was next to greet me and made me feel welcome the whole time I waited for my bike to be done. They offered me coffee and donuts while I waited. They got my bike in at the scheduled time and to my surprise ( I was only getting two new tires) in just a few minutes they had my bike all stripped down and were giving it the once over to make sure everything was up to par. Now is when I met the mechanic Jay. Boy does he know his GL1200s. They took me out and showed me a $13.00 part that needed replacing and it would save me a $2,500.00 repair down the road. This is a weak spot on the older Goldwings and they were all over it. I really appreciated that as this is my first bike and I had no way of knowing. They gave me a great set of tires that have better reviews than the ones I had been looking at and they ride great. My rear brake pads needed replaced and they only charged me for the pads since my bike was already apart. My front brakes were fine and they did not try to sell me on things I didnt need. They changed my clutch fluid and adjusted my clutch and in a couple hours I was on the road again for much less money than the other places were talking. While I was there Wendy basically detailed my bike for me showing me this great spray polish that you use on everything from paint, chrome, seats and the windshield. I wanted to buy a can of it as I was leaving but Paul threw it in for free. I will not take my bike anywhere else these folks are the best. ( Not to mention no one else will touch my bike. Lol)I recommend them highly and want to thank them again for such a great experience. I will see you in a few thousand miles for my next oil change.Thank you, Kelsey Zeek

I believe Ive already reviewed this business, if not, I have to give them an excellent rating. They specialize in Honda Goldwings & are superior to the dealerships. Ive had dealership mechanics forget to bleed the brakes, strip threads on the gas tank hold down, forget to reconnect electrical connectors, switch AM-FM cables with CB radio cables, etc. Highland Cycles has never done these types of things. They are friendly, accommodating, and cheaper than the dealerships. What more can you ask for.

Both Pauls are the most helpful when you take your bike in. And Jay just may be one of the best Gold Wing wrenches in SoCal.
