PLEASE READ PRIOR TO GETTING YOUR BIKE WORKED ON AT THIS SHOPI have been using this shop for my biking needs for the past few years. Their service department has never been overly nice or great with customer care but this last interaction was extremely disappointing. I brought my Specialized Enduro in for routine maintenance and shock service this spring. When I brought it in they told me it would take about 6 weeks to complete everything due to covid supply chain issues. Which I totally understand. I called at about the six week mark to check on it and was told they were still waiting on parts. I ended up calling about every two weeks and every time I was given a different reason on why the bike was not ready. Finally after a lot of really suspect excuses. I finally decided to just pick my bike after 4 months of this. This was after many phone calls in some of which were with the service manager- who definitely needs some lessons on customer service. When I got my bike back the brake levers were totally broken, which they were not when I brought it in. Now I am not a bike mechanic, but It appears to me that at some point during the maintenance the brake levers got damaged. Then the delay was waiting on the parts to fix this. No one relayed this to me in all my phone calls. In fact, on one call they told me there was a recall on my brakes- a flat out lie. I explained this to the manager when I paid my bill and she was very nice and handled it well. But it is clear the service department needs some lessons on integrity and customer service. We all know stuff happens but own up to it and be honest.

The Bike Source on County Line in Highlands Ranch delivers super high quality customer service, with a smile, every time. Even to us not-too-serious bike riders. I strongly recommend this store for all your bicycle and bike accessory needs.I purchased a Specialized CrossRoads womans bike from Bike Source’s Colorado Blvd. location in May 2020. Yep, during the pandemic, when customers weren’t allowed inside the stores and communications weren’t always 100% clear. I made some questionable choices (including switching seats from my 30-year-old CrossRoads with the new bike) because of the awkwardness then that did not encourage conversation. The CrossRoads design has been nicely updated in 30 years and the seat swap didn’t work well. I only rode the bike a couple of times. It took me until August 2021 to persuade a friend to ride with me to the Highlands Ranch store to get the bike seats switched back, and to request a more refined kickstand than the very basic one that had been installed without discussing options 15 months ago. The new kickstand had to be ordered. Today, I took a late afternoon ride back to the Highlands Ranch store to get the kickstand swapped out. Not realizing that the young man who helped me last week had “comped” me for the nicer kickstand, I requested and was very politely given a refund for last year’s basic version. Then, the heavens poured forth with a great deal of much-appreciated rain, and a young man at the store named Blake asked me if I needed a ride home. He went out of his way to drive me and my now fully-equipped and outfitted just for me bike home. Many thanks to Blake and all the gents @ Bike Source who have helped me get my wonderful new bike to the place where I CAN ride it more! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Today I purchased a Tule hitch bike rack from Erick who is in sales at Bike Source. I did this by telephone and ask him to hold it for me and I would be there in a couple hours. I showed up and ask for Eric. He came out to greet my wife and I. I asked if he would show me how it worked on my car. He immediately said there is assembly required. Then he said it would take about an hour as they were really busy. I told him we were headed downtown to our sons to pick up a bike and we really needed it.He immediately sprang into action.. he said he would take it to the back and assemble it to just look around for a few minutes. In about 20 minutes here comes ERICK with the assembled bike rack from the back. We paid for it and he took it out to our car and showed us how it worked. Erick is a employee that should be recognized for a job well done. He was extremely pleasant and cordial through this entire process. In time of covid, bikesource had the right bike for us (June 2020). We were very apprehensive while buying the rather expensive bike for my son who is still growing so we were unsure of the right bike size for him. Eric and Josh listen to our concerns and checked off all the necessary in the bike sizing department making sure that we are making the right decision. Weve spent some extra time in the sizing exercise but at the end just to be assured that the bike is and will be the right fit for the next few years to come.As an extra bonus, I got my saddle inspected and Josh pointed out the reasons why I had problem riding on it. I have been upgraded to a wider saddle that fits my body better. The discomfort I had during long rides is gone now! No one told me before about the simple type of fitting that can be done to discover the right saddle fit. Thanks again Josh! The only complaint I have is for the spelling of my name ... joking, I know it is unusual for some :)

We told him we were interested in purchasing a new bike and wanted to spend around $700. The man literally scoffed and rolled his eyes and turned away as if us wanting to spend several hundred dollars wasn’t good enough for him. Little did he know, we had plenty more to spend and probably would have had we talked to the right person. We will never be back for any of our bike needs.

Then, we realized when we attached it to the hitch on our car, there was an adapter (Saris 2” hitch adapter to be specific). This store had given us the wrong size bike rack (1.25”) and KNEW that because they threw in the adapter which didn’t work anyway. What a lame move and a time waster for us. Had their website informed me of these important facts, I never would have made the purchase in the first place. Now that they have received the bike locally after 7 days beyond my purchase, their best answer as to when it will be ready is I dont know.Im sure they have some poor excuse about since I bought this online, blah blah blah. In reality, their website should provide all the facts needed to make a purchase BEFORE the purchase is complete.I would like to add a star for them being nice about the refund, however I still have no bike and now I have to wait for my money to get another one, causing further delay and frustration. While in the end they processed the refund rather quickly, the entire experience was very frustrating and reminds me why its always better to stick to the small local bicycle shops.

After using many bike shops over several decades for service, parts, clothing, and bike purchases, I decided that BikeSource was where I would buy my next bike simply because their service department is top-tier. I narrowed my bikes down to 2-models in late January and called to store to see if I could compare the two models side-by-side. My sales person Melanie said that she would have both bikes ready- at my required sizing- ready for me to compare and she did exactly that. The store is yards from a great smooth & hilly bike path as well as in a very broken, cracked & pothole filled parking lot (they should never repair this- this is how you test and compare compliance & comfort in a bike frame!) that I tested both bikes on for over an hour until I was settled on my favorite frame. They didnt have my exact bike- but they found it and had it shipped to their store. The day I picked it up, I also scheduled (and HIGHLY recommend) a comprehensive fitting on their ReTul machine. Working with Blake was amazing and the hours it took was well worth it because I took home my new bicycle- fit to my body geometry & riding style to the millimeter- and I have never been happier. I have not had to move or adjust anything since and LOVE my new bicycle! My riding mileage has increased 2x from previous years and my goals are to race next summer. Thanks BikeSource- I am a fanatical customer for life!

I really want to like this shop. I’ve got 4 Specialized bikes at home, so it should be an obvious choice of shop for me. Unfortunately, I’ve had multiple bad experiences now. Most recently, I swung by to pick up a 7mm seat clamp for a Venge. The kid who ran to the back to get it for me offered to throw it on really quick. Thought he was being nice... turns out that 60 seconds of labor cost me $10. Plus he managed to drop the multi tool, which hit my seat stay and chipped off paint. Great...Prior to this, I had a rear brake installed on a TT bike. Hydro rim brake, so I didn’t want to mess with the fluid in my condo. Took about a week, got the bike back the afternoon of a TT. Went to ride over to the TT and the brake was rubbing within 100 meters of beginning to ride. Stopped and inspected it, super loose. Very shoddy work.Hope my experiences are the outlier and I’m just unlucky. They seem like nice folks, always friendly when I come in. Just wish they did a better job and didn’t nickel and dime you

I dont mind paying for the service, but the response this time was that it would be 7-10 days!!!! before they could install it. It was busy season and they had 300 bikes backed up for service....or something like that. I can say that this is one of the best bike shops I have been to. The crew is some of the nicest people to talk to about cycling in general and have given me a lot of advice about fit and riding in general and it really has paid off.I am a really tall guy and have long legs that have made finding a bike my size in the model I want difficult. I was really impressed by the size of the store and the selection. Not only did I find my dream bike there, I got a good price on it too, which made the boss happy (my wife).I have always had a problem fitting on a bike just right and this created back pain in a couple of spots. After discussing with Tom, who helped me find the bike, he suggested getting in for a proper fitting. I was hesitant to spend the $250 plus any new parts required as I nowhere near a pro rider. I dont race. I just like to ride a lot. Well, I have in after a couple months of thinking about it and it was completely worth it. Most of my pain on long rides is gone. The guy who fitted me, Blake, did a great job and was and all around super nice guy. The bike feels like it is molded to fit me and its actually easier to go further than before. I dont notice any power increases or anything but endurance did some how. Might have made my power more efficient. My experiences have been so good that I really cant say enough about this shop. I have referred a couple friends to this shop just this week. It has also influenced me to write my first review on Google ever. :)

Very helpful staff, while they did not have have the bike I needed in stock, they were very helpful, and pointed me in the right direction.

Im not a fan of typical bike shops. The staff at a typical bike shop tends to be a little condescending when they can tell that youre not a serious rider. The Highlands Ranch location of BikeSource kind of felt like a typical bike shop. Ive shopped at the Colorado Blvd BikeSource before, and that location was amazing. I was a little disappointed with the Highlands Ranch location. Maybe I just went in there on a bad day or something. I might give them another shot because theyre so much closer to my house, otherwise Ill continue to shop at the Colorado Blvd BikeSource.

Be careful at their service dept. They will take complete advantage of you. I went there to fix a shifter and the guy recommended I replace the front and rear sprocket. Then he paints a picture of how I could be stranded with a broken chain and worn down drivetrain.Took the bike over to Elevation for second opinion and was told to replace the chain. Over a year later, still riding with no drivetrain problems whatsoever.I guess I would just recommend a second opinion before going with their advice. They certainly arent looking out for your best interest...they are just trying to drive revenue at any cost.

Trying to buy two bikes and cant get any help from the sales people. They told us to come in and try them, we drove an hour and when we got there they didnt have the right size to try. They told us theyd find out about ordering some and let us know right away. We have called back numerous times and they just keep saying theyll maybe know tomorrow. Tried for 5 days staight and now we are giving up. We are ready to spend some $10,000 on two bikes and cant get any help. The managers just get mad at us when we call now, sorry we are trying to give you folks our money! Never again will we try them. Avoid at all costs.

Struggled with their service department and the results when I had them perform a tune up and install new parts on an older StumpJumper (2 star). However, the sales staff was great on a new purchase (4 star).
