LOVE this place. Hosted my sons 4th bday party here, and we frequent them for food and play. Have also taken advantage of toddler jump time at the adjacent Get Air Columbus facility. Wonderful place, excellent service, age appropriate, and affordable (including loyalty points). I wish there were more places like this, especially closer to us in Marysville! Worth the visit - you will be glad you did.
Great play place! Multiple areas for kids to play in. A climbing area, ball pit, trampoline spot for kids to get their energy out. Area for little ones to play and climb. Two I Beams for kids to play games on. Play area for kids to play pretend in. Plenty of spaces for parents to sit on and watch. Over great place and they do private parties!
I take my 2.5 year old daughter here regularly and she loves it! It is such a clean facility and the food is amazing, one of our favorite places to get pizza. It is evident that the employees love their job because they are so kind. Most importantly there is only one exit and it is through the dining area and blocked by a baby gate. A fun, clean, safe place to let kids be kids.
You got low stars because your business is not recommended. You asking for a better rating tells me a lot about how you run a business. Fortunately some businesses are better then other and yours didn’t meet the mark. Maybe one day you will have better communication and customer service skills. This establishment is a one star business. People have their personal experiences and they relay those thoughts on the internet. Also, didn’t you threaten to release photos and video of our guests to the public with out consent? Sounds to me you might get sued as well. So good luck. We paid and this should be over, but your but hurt over a negative review. Unfortunately as business owners we can’t control what customers rate us as.I do not recommend this place to anyone there are better places out there.
My family has attended both a birthday party and play sessions here. Everything has exceeded our expectations - the quality of the toys and “climbers” for kids, the exceptional menu, the overall layout and ambiance, and the wonderful family that owns it. A couple years ago I took my child on an unusually quiet day and my child played with the owner’s child for a couple hours - such a sweet memory of two little strangers who quickly became friends :-)I love supporting a local, family-owned business and will always choose places like this over the national chain, kiddie game room/pizza alternative. My child is now too big for what Tree of Life offers but I recommend it any time I can to young families.
I rarely write reviews but this one deserved it and more. 5 stars easy. Has my sons first birthday party today here. Easy and no hassle at all. They were helpful in every way possible to help make this day special. We will definitely be back and I will be recommending parents to this great location. I couldn’t have picked a better place to have his birthday!!!!
A great place to eat, hang out and host a party for younger kids. Run by even better people! The quality of the food and entertainment is only topped by the service of the employees and the owners. Dont hesitate to visit or book your next birthday party!
Amazing place to host a birthday party! We have hosted 2 birthday parties here over the years. Also loved being able to book quaranteam playtime during the pandemic to have private access for a group of kids. Plus they have great pizza! My kids always beg to go back.
Did a Quaranteam play date there for my kids a few weeks back. It was wonderful! Safe, clean, and wonderful staff! Can’t get enough of the pizza! If we lived closer, we’d take it home as carry out for dinner! Very happy with our visit and the kids loved having the place to them selves for private play!
Ive visited Tree of Life 4x in the past 2 years with my now 4 year old Grand daughter. I would visit more but I live in Cincinnati. Tree of Life is a wonderful place to take your toddler. Its clean, the staff is friendly and the food is good. I highly recommend Tree of Life
We went here for our daughters birthday just her, mommy, and daddy day. They were so kind and made her feel extra special on her birthday! The snacks and treats we ordered were delicious. Good people here!
We LOVE LOVE LOVE tree of life! The staff is amazing and we love how much there is to do. The food is AWESOME especially the fries! TOL is our favorite place to meet up with friends. We love having the option for the quarantine play as well!
We came in just for lunch the other weekend and the staff was so wonderful, nice and attentive. We havent been much due to the pandemic but have gone multiple times before and had so much fun. Cant wait to come back!
My 2 youngest children LOVE Tree of Life so much. It’s clean with a friendly staff and good food. I love it as a mom bc they can play safely while I get some work done. It’s a win win for parents and kids.
If I could give them 100 stars I would!!I booked my sons birthday party here sight unseen. I was across the country and had high hopes! They did not disappoint!! I was very pleased especially for the price!! You get the entire room, perfect for toddlers and kids!!Family had already booked their parties there because they loved it also!! The gals that were working were amazing!! I wish I knew the ladies name that was running everything upstairs for us but she is AWESOME!!Book with them!!
The pizza is actually one of my favorites in town. Atmosphere is welcoming for kids and adults to have a little “normalcy” during this pandemic. Clean facility, friendly staff, and great quality menu!
Was very small. Had to go up alot of steps and that is hard for grandparents sometimes. People were nice. Not much for the kids to do for the price
Always fun for the little kids. Delicious food that is made fresh. Coffee to keep adults happy. What more could you want?
This is a great place! I’ve taken my daughter several times. They are very clean, staff is friendly, food is great, and we always have a blast!
Best play cafe in columbus!! Had my sons bday party here a few years ago and everything was perfect! He’s outgrown the cafe now but we made many visits when he’s was smaller. I would recommend this place for parties or just a regular day of fun 100 times over!
We had my daughter’s 3rd birthday party there and it was amazing, kids love the play area and adults enjoyed socializing since kiddos were occupied. Staff is very friendly as well, food was delicious and came out right when we asked for it
One of the best places to hold a toddlers birthday party, we have had 3 birthdays there in the past years. Just attended one there a couple weeks ago as well. My kid’s love the overhead projection games on the floor, the small trampoline is safe and fun for them! The staff is always super attentive and makes sure that all your needs are met. The owner herself is an amazing women herself. She always makes sure everyone is having fun, and she loves her community. I always recommend TOL to my girlfriends with younger kids. It’s a great place and with Covid they have taken even more precautions to ensure everything gets sanitized between parties!
Great customer service. Cleaning practices with Covid make you feel safe. Reasonable prices, yummy food and a fun time. Overall we have had several great experiences and the kids love it!
This is nice play cafe. The play area is on the 2nd floor which may be hard if you are carrying a lot of stuff and car seats etc, but the staff is super friendly and helpful. You order/buy food downstairs and take it up. The lunch menu starts at 11 so I recommend bringing yr own breakfast, there are not many options. The play area is wonderful with an indoor playground, a closed off toddler area, and another area with a play kitchen. There are floor interactive games. It overlooks and is next to a trampoline park which would work for older kids. I totally recommend for parents w younger children.
My children love visiting TOL! Not only are they kind, clean, and fun...they are generous and loving! They have opened up their facilities multiple times so foster parents can have a night of much needed respite. We love you TOL!
I loved my experience at Tree of Life Play + Cafe! My kids had a great time playing and my husband I got to enjoy coffee while watching them play.
We love this place! Great service and food. My kiddos always have a great time.
Had a great time. Yami and Tracie were super nice and friendly. Would recommend going with little kids.
Owner and staff are all amazing. My little loves to play here and I love that I can sit and enjoy my coffee and let him have his fun in a safe, toddler friendly environment.
Amazing Playcafé, theres a lot to do for Toddlers and preschool aged kids. We love the food, too. And the coffee!
We hosted our child’s 3rd birthday at Tree of Life. We could not be happier with their attentiveness, food and environment. We are lucky to have such a gem where families can connect in Hilliard.
Best pizza I’ve ever had! Staff was friendly and it’s such a fun space! Definitely recommend!
Wonderful place for families with young kiddos! We loved our play date there and are looking forward to going back!
We love TOL! It is clean and the kids always have a blast. And the food is amazing!
This place is near my church and I get coffee sometimes before or after church.Very friendly and professional staff.Thank You for always treating me with kindness.Wonderful people.
Ive attended two birthday parties at Tree of Life and have always had a great experience. The staff is friendly, food is supper good, and location is clean and updated.
This is a safe, clean, family friendly place to take your kids. With great food and friendly staff, I can’t imagine a better place to spend a few fun filled hours.
Our kids always have an amazing time here! The staff is always friendly and the facility is perfect to get all their energy out.
We’ve had and been to multiple birthday parties here and they are always a great time. The staff is wonderful and the food is amazing.
Our favorite place we have taken our toddler!! The staff was so nice and helpful! Great environment for kiddos!
This is the perfect place to have the kids get out some energy while catching up with a friend over delicious coffee. One of our favorite places to go to!!
We love coming to Tree of Life. The staff is always so friendly. My kids love coming here and we love that there is a wide variety of things to play with.
My kids love to play here! Its clean, fun, and we always get their pizza for lunch!
Love the staff and play are and omg their pizza is amazing. Definitely recommended to everyone♥️
The owner of this place harassed my friends family and friends for not paying her bill immediately for poor service and refusing to accommodate to her handicapped grandmother. threatening to post pics and videos from the party!!
We love bringing our kiddos to play and eat pizza! The quarantine play is our fave and such a great value!
Every visit to TOL is awesome! Friendly staff, excellent pizza, wonderful experience every time we’ve been!
I have been here multiple times and the staff is always so kind and professional and the food is amazing!!! My kiddos LOVE it here!!
So much fun for anyone with kids!! The staff is always so nice.
My son absolutely loves to play here! The play area is clean, the staff is friendly. Definitely will return.
I cannot believe we have experienced this from this place, we have been harassed and bashed as if we were the bad people from the owners, and of course she has made her slef look so innocent. My daughter paid her deposit before hand, we lived far away so we arrived early and my daughter asked if we could set up when the other party was done and they were finished cleaning we were told we had to wait exactly at 3:15 so we waited patiently in the lobby. We were never rude or outraged. We were never told it was up stairs and we needed it to be handicap accessible for two people that couldn’t walk steps due to doctors orders and one grandparent couldn’t even come up she had to wait down stairs, it even says on the website it’s handicap accessible which is a lie. Anyhow we left and had a very long drive home and my daughter was going to call in with her payment of 250 and before we got home the owner had messaged several people from the party harassing them and demanding them to pay the bill or she was going to show videos and pictures and turn in license plates, mind you we all have all these messages, we were not going to not pay, we were more focused on gettin home due to our long drive, we are not that type of people we pay our depts we had no intentions of not paying and I told the owner she was having problems with her card I even sent her the picture showin her card was turned off, we were communicating with each other very well and it was a good conversation I thought and I have that message as well. I told her if she didn’t get her card figured out Monday morning I would call myself, she was ok with that. She texted me Monday morning and told me the rest was paid and that my daughter wrote a review and wanted her to remove it I told her I would talk with her my daughter did however have concerns that wanted addressed she offered her 10 dollars off, we did have burnt pizza and the staff was very rude to us all, we did not feel welcomed the whole time amd now the owner which is the one person we’re supposed to feel comfortable talking with is continuing this and bashing us, we have all messages saved to as well I could share. We just want this to be over with and no one has harassed anyone but the owner of tree life cafe, very unprofessional, and it’s sad because it is a cute play place for kids to go it but just isn’t ran by professional people. This needs to end they need to leave us alone, we have screen shots of messages as well, all this should have been between you and my daughter period
We had our twin sons birthday party at TOL back in March and it was WONDERFUL! We unfortunately had a death in the family due to COVID and TOL went above and beyond to send their condolences and let us change the time of our party. The food was wonderful, the space was super clean. Our family had a great time!!!Thank you TOL!!!
Awesome food, clean and really nice cafe. Staff is wonderful.
Great place to play. The owner and staff have always been very friendly!
Updated review:I still love this place. I love that my older toddler and younger child can both play at the same time. The smaller kid area is perfect for kids who are just started to walk. My toddler loves the trampoline and ball pit!
Love Tree of Life Play and CafeGreat pizza and staff. Bora gives back to the community.
Had a fantastic experience each time we’ve visited!
I love this place. We dont get the opportunity to go a ton- but love it when we do! Great starting at crawling age- kids can observe and learn to play here, especially if they do not get to go to a daycare. The facility is clean and the staff is incredibly friendly. The food is surprisingly good (not meant to be a knock but a lot of these activity restaurant combos lack here) so it is definitely a perk!
Very cute place! Loved it here :)
Rude staff owner is very very unprofessional do not recommend please stay clear
I like this place. Its a good place for young kids under 5. Cozy lighting. Toys. Small playground. Restaurant style seating. Outlets. Changing room. The down side. There is an area that was maybe set up to serve... food? Its a small area, a soda/ice machine that does not work, and a small sink thats too high and too deep for kids. You have to go downstairs to use the restrooms. There is no family restroom. There are hand sanitizers around, but they are always empty or not working. This is a great down side because if you order food, and want your kids to wash before they eat, you will have to leave your food and belongings unattended. Since you will be here with kids, you will have belongings, and you will want to wash especially if there is a sick kid there. The kitchen and entrance is on the ground floor. Food has been good. Everybody was very nice. Also, they make coffee and espresso drinks. A must have.I think its a good place, with just a few oversights that keep it from being the best small play place in the area. I would still tell people to go there. It is a nice play area.
Yummy pizza! A nice play area upstairs for children up to 5 or 6 and connected to Get Air a fun day of play. The area upstairs gated for safe play for parents who need to work read or do homework.
Super friendly staff and clean play area.
Ive heard many good things about this play cafe, Im glad I finally made it. It is definitely one of the better ones in the Columbus area. I met up with a couple of other moms for a play date with our girls. The girls had a blast. The menu was better then I expected, and they offer protein shakes. Ill visit again soon.
This is a great place for little kids to play! The staff and owner are super nice and very accommodating. I bring my grandson here all the time and he absolutely loves it! The food and various coffee/smoothie drinks are delicious! 🌺
We had a weekday birthday party here for our 3 year old and everyone was great! The pizza was delicious and the staff members were so kind and accommodating! We had guests from out of town and they were so impressed with the staff and venue! My son had so much fun, our smaller babies loved the play area and we adults loved the option to jump at Get Air during our party time! We will definitely continue to use Tree of Life in the future! Thank you so much for making our day special!
This place is great and the owners are wonderful
This place is great. The price is reasonable. The layout is funky in that you cant see your kid all the time from any one spot.But... They make decent food, downstairs is a place to call down and eat, there is an outsider area when weather permits, and the people are just the nicest people youd all for to run a place like this. They are what makes it!
Such a wonderful space and staff!
Great food and friendly staff!
Amazing food, staff and environment!
There are a lot of good things about this place, and a few big not so good things. First of all, my kids loved the play area. It’s well laid out for young children. My son (4.5yo) loved climbing and jumping. My daughter (2yo) spent nearly an hour alternating between pushing around a shopping cart that was exactly her size and going down a slide. However, when my husband took our son to the bathroom, he came back to report that there was no step stool to help him reach the sink. For a place aimed at young children, this seems like a major oversight. The women’s room did have a step stool, but the locks on the stall door were all broken. The biggest issue I had with Tree of Life Cafe, and the reason I will not go back, is that it is not handicapped accessible. I’m not sure how that’s even legal at this point. The entrance, cafe, and restrooms are all on the first floor. The play space and tables for the parents to sit and watch are all on the second floor. There are railings on the stairs, but no elevator. I use a walker or a wheelchair and have trouble going up and down stairs. As a result, I will never return to this place. My husband will probably go back with the kids at some point, but I can’t handle the layout.
Super clean, good food. 2 and 3 year old looooveee this place.
This is such a great place! The ladies at the front desk are super friendly and helpful. The play area is just large enough, not too big so I could relax a bit. The food is so much better than you would expect at a play cafe. The salad was fresh and the grilled veggies sandwich was delicious!! We will definitely be back.
One of our favorite places, we had our daughters 3rd birthday party here and we come to play here quite often. Parking is easy, as there is a lot right in front of the building. You go in and pay admission and then the play area is upstairs. If you have a stroller there is a little nook to park it. Today was my daughters 4th Birthday and I received an email with a free admission and cookie during her birth month that we took advantage of. I have a 7 month old and he played in the crawlers area today for the first time. Restrooms are downstairs, and There is also a room upstairs for easy diaper changes, and a chair if you need to feed baby in a more private. Staff is always friendly. Food is enjoyable and I usually enjoy a caramel mocha when we go. Hope this is helpful.
Very pleasant experience.
What a delightful place my daughter and I stumbled upon. I work near hear but live in Springfield and commute. I was able to mix business with pleasure today. I got some work done and brought my daughter and my one grandchild (crossing my fingers for more 🤗). A wonderful staff Whom made our day wonderful! 😊THANK YOU LADIES 😊If you have a child 5 and under they have a very exciting play area for the kids. Whether you have work to do or want to jump in the fun and play it’s a win/ win situation. What a wonderful place for family and friends. THANK YOU😊
My 2 year old played in the upstairs play area for almost 3 hours. He probably would have kept playing another 2 or 3 hours if I let him. This place is great!Unlike some play cafes its not just a collection of plastic play sets or anything you could find in a normal household playroom. There is a custom built play area with giant plastic tunnels and slides, a trampoline and a ball pit.In addition, there is a second play area (all connected to the same room with tables and chairs for adults) where kids can pretend play with shopping carts and baskets, a table and chairs, fake foods and a train set. Theres also a projection system that projects games onto the ground that the kids can interact with (like stepping on bubbles or kicking a virtual soccer ball around). The entire area is gated off and only has 1 entrance/exit so its easy to feel like your little one is safe. I had the chicken pesto sandwich which was good for what it was, but next time I think Id try the pizza as everyone around me seemed to be getting pizza, and it looked great. The only downside to this place is that the bathrooms and food ordering are downstairs. So if you have a super clingy child and you go as the only adult you might have to leave them upstairs to go down and order food unless you order on the way up. Any potty trained kids will have to make it downstairs to use the restroom as well.Staff was all friendly and great. I had a high level of expectation going here and it was definitely more than I had hoped for.
Under 5? Welcome to fun! Ball pit, kids food, floor video games, baby blocks area, toys. No handicap or stroller ability to get to the play area upstairs. Upstairs has tables with lots of plugs for parents to work while kids play. Big windows to see the older kids in the connected trampoline park.
We love this place! My toddler comes here often! The service is wonderful! The toddler area upstairs has so much for the kids to do! There is a gate to keep the kids inside the area. It can get a bit crowded at times BUT it’s a big space.
Great place and staff!
Best place for kids. The food is amazing. Very clean and the staff is beyond wonderful.
I really like this play café. I would have given it five stars if there were not video games, although they do project on the floor and the child is active when playing them. The food is very good and I think many people dont realize there is a café seating area outside of the play area, so you dont have to bring children to play in order to enjoy the good food.
Our first visit was a blast. There is also a menu with yummy sandwiches, wraps, and salads, as well as a menu with lots of options for your kiddos. The specialty coffee is good as well. The pricing for access to the giant trampoline area was a little confusing, but wasnt a problem. Well definitely be going back!
Great concept but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. The toys are dirty, worn out and broken. The diaper changing room was disgusting with only a tiny trash can. Food took forever and arrived missing ingredients. The high chair we had was broken. For the price it just wasn’t worth it!
LOVE this place. Reasonably priced with an AMAZING staff, clean facilities, and yummy food and drinks. A great place to go to get out of the house with your little ones.
Took the boy for a Saturday morning out. Weve now been to 3 local play cafés and this was far and away the best. My son had a great time and I had some fantastic cold brew coffee. Tree of Life doesnt skimp on the play or the cafe. Great comfortable environment for parents and lots of variety for the kids. Highly recommended.
Just recently visited and my daughter is 4 years old and loved it! She loved the ball pit which is hard to find these days. She was one of the only ones her size there, mostly all of the other children were toddlers/babies. I wish more 4-5 year olds were there. Also $6.99 was a bit much in my opinion.
The play area was niceNot too crowded. The PB and J left a lot to be desired- stale bread, one slice was the end piece (seriously, whos kid eats that!?), And the peanut butter was a small blob in the middle- not spread or enough to call it a sandwich. Also, knowing that you are catering to a younger crowd, why would you not cut things like grapes in half?? It takes half a second..Would recommend grabbing a bite to eat elsewhere if you go here to play.
The place was very clean and nice. But I dont think its worth the money your going to pay..I felt rushed and in a hurry! I mean 2 hours max for a party and only 15 minutes to clean up and decorate. Im sorry but I do wish they would give more time set up at least half hour. And let people have longer party times other than 2 hours.
I LOVED this place! My kids played for hours on end and actually allowed me to have a long conversation with a friend. Which never happens. We got a margarita pizza and it was so good!
Pros: My toddlers love the play area and there’s plenty of toys and slides to keep them entertained for at least 1-2 hours. Their cheese pizza is delicious (I was pleasantly surprised) and their brewed coffee is good. Most importantly, every table has power outlets and mommy can get a little work done while kids play in safely enclosed area (there’s a Baby gate and it’s easy to keep an eye on almost entire area.)Cons: The prices here are a little steep (Their coffees cost almost as much as Starbucks) although the large pizza is decently priced and admission is just ok.
Perfect rainy day activity! The food is unsatisfactory for the high price point. The girls behind the counter were friendly. My four year old played for hours. Since get air shares the same building, there were older kids running in and out often. Overall it was a pleasant experience, and we will be back. 🙂
This is one of the best places I have taken my little ones too and they were actually entertained for hours.
Delicious gluten free dairy free pizza, the split pea soup was amazing. Gluten free pies and cookies and vegan ice cream was great. Also delicious fresh squeezed carrot juices
My Son and his father tried going here and they were too crowded to allow my son in. The worst part was my son was so excited to play as he remember coming here before and his eyes lit up when he walked in. After being told that they were unsure of the wait time from the staff they left with him being extremely sad. I would suggest to this play cafe to have a better system in place for wait time as well a tracker online so parents can see the wait time before arriving.
Had my daughters birthday here. Turned out great, the ladies working were very sweet and helpful. Their chicken ranch pizza is the best pizza I’ve ever had.
