This place is out of a beautiful Hallmark Movie. So quaint and cute- it’s a Victorian home turned cafe and bakery. Everything you get will be amazing as it’s all made in house. It was also founded by a woman who won “Chopped” on food network. If you go see Amy, she is so kind, helpful and gives great recommendations. This adorable Bakery and Cafe is a must visit when in town. And their “Collective Market” next door is also amazing! I came from Scotland to visit and it was worth the trip.

Im a 2 time cancer survivor recently this year I had a bone marrow transplant so this is the first birthday I celebrated. Tomato soup was just like my garden fresh one (big compliment as Im a real ham)Not a vegetarian but they had this Zucchini fritter that tasted completely on par with a burger, amazing.Highly recommend not just sweets here, tho certainly plenty. Yum.

What a great, little, local gem!High quality baked goods (and coffee, pastry, brunch, lunch, soups) in a historic Hillsboro townhouse.Literally everything is good; you cant make a bad choice, but Im partial to the berry and cheese sweet brioche (danish). Or anything with their lemon curd or house biscuits.

Honestly love this place but I waited almost 30 minutes for my coffee this morning. I understand its a bakery, but once you start serving breakfast & espresso drinks, people are going to treat it like a coffee shop. Please get another espresso machine or go back to serving just black coffee.

If you havent been here yet, you need to. Picked up a fantastic little lunch, Tuna Sando with their homemade potato salad. Breakfast and lunch is served all day, and EVERYTHING is scratch made. Mindy and her crew puts out the absolute best baked goods as well. Always friendly! This place is the best!

This is a cozy little bakery in downtown Hillsboro which dishes some tempting dessertsThis Blackforest mini cupcakes shown in picture are not always available in store. However, you can order in advance. They have a chocolate cake base, a fresh cherry and a dollop of fresh cream on top. This is a mini treat in case anyone doesnt want to eat a lot. Folks can also order the regular size cupcake if they want to eat a bigger portion. If you drive to Hillsboro during a weekend or a weekday, definitely pay these folks a visit.

I had their egg salad sandwich, with bacon, spinach and artichoke aioli and it was one of my favorite sandwiches ever.

A wonderful shop. Ive ordered Christmas cookies, custom goodie boxes of various pastries, and today was my first custom cake.I first tried calling the store to place my order, and was redirected to their website. I was a bit miffed, as ordering extras (such as for customization) through the site is hard to be found (I never found it, actually.) I wrote in the notes section I wanted some sort of Easter decoration since it was for family Easter dinner. I thought surely someone would call to discuss. Never heard anything. Never was notified my order was ready, either. So, I was worried what I was going to get.I called before arriving, and verified they did indeed have my order ready. When I flipped the receipt over to reveal the window in the box, I was SO pleasantly surprised! It was perfect! They added Easter sprinkles, plus a couple Easter cookies to top it. I LOVE they decorate it using all edible pieces, no plastic no garbage to throw away.Two takeaways I learned from this: First, I can trust them to read the notes and follow them accordingly. Second, bring cash to tip them next time because oh my god they deserve it.Thank you, Decadent Creations! Your pastries have been amazing for the 5+ years Ive been going, and now I know I can order affordable, fresh custom cakes, too!

The first time we tried their baked good a few months ago, it was amazing. This time, we went in at lunch time and had their sandwiches and bought some pastries. Sandwiches were VERY small and tasted good, but nothing mind blowing.As for the pastries, we pointed from behind the glass the ones we wanted and the gal retrieved the pastries from a tray behind her instead of where we were pointing to. We thought great! They will be even fresher and more delicious, but we were so disappointed: most of them were noticeably smaller in size as the ones on display and some of them did not taste as fresh as the last time. Oh well, maybe we hit them on a bad day.

We hired Decadent Creations to cater our wedding - the dessert bar option was incredible. We got 200 pieces for a 100 person wedding that went to 3am, which was just the right amount because not ONE dessert was left by the end of the night. A massive success, a fantastic value, and the online order and pick process was seamless and extremely professional. Would highly recommend for anyone catering for a large event.

They made an amazing birthday cake for my husband. Delicious and real, with wholesome ingredients. The decoration was great too! Thank you very much, Decadent Creations! You all rock!

Everything here is great! The biscuits are fantastic, and the sandwiches have a lot of flavors. I wish they did biscuits and gravy! There desserts are really good as well. We bought a full chocolate cake and we all loved it. Very moist and very flavorful. I will eat here again for sure!

Cute little decadent dessert place. Tastes amazing. Im not concerned about the look, I really care about the taste :). Great for taking kids. Seating is mediocre comfort wise. Not a lot of seating so during a busy time probably better to order to go.

I love this place.. but I just cant afford it. The prices are much too high, especially for sandwiches that are the size of a single roll or biscuit. I would need to eat two or three of them just to be remotely satisfied. The pastries, cakes and cupcakes are all amazing but really only worth the purchase on a special occasion when spending the extra dough is warranted when I could make or purchase something similar for much less anywhere else. I do deeply appriciate it when they can run deals on thing they produced too much of. Maybe consider some kind of daily deal for those struggling in your community but still want to support the business.

The frosting on my cupcake was amazing! A raspberry lavender. The sausage biscuit was delicious. I could tell that the bread was amazing but I was too distracted by the fact that it was cold. Bummer because I could tell the taste would have been amazing if it were just warmer.

The pastries are awesome and the food is great but I waited 35 minutes for my coffee the woman was taking 20 minutes her coffee my coffee’s were not good they gladly gave my money back but something needs to happen with the coffee situation

Been buying pastries from decadent bakery since they were still home based. The owner is super passionate about baking and it shows in the details she puts in her pastries. Great tasting pastries. Definitely try the salted caramel dunk. This is not quite a coffee shop so dont expect great coffee but its pretty decent. They have perfectly sized breakfast sandwiches and the cakes are heavenly

I would give a 5 star but the young kid cashier was rude and not happy to service us. Get a happy cashier thats happy to see PAYING customers, because he was rude to the previous person too...overall food is good, we come here all the time.

Always the best baked goods with lots of variety! They have a one way system through the store which is awesome. Lemon curd biscuits are the best!! The staff are friendly and eager to help with what you might be looking for. It looks like they now carry some other cold prepare at home dishes. Saw some yummy looking pesto pasta ❤️

This. Place. Is. Great.Their baked goods are wonderful, the baking classes are a lot of fun, and they do a lot to help engage the community. We ordered treats from Decadent Creations for a dessert bar at our wedding, and they were a hit!

This place has been on my want to go list since moving to Hillsboro, and Im so angry at myself for not going sooner!! The shop itself is so cute, with lots of seating if youre looking to eat onsite. The employees were incredibly friendly. We ordered breakfast sandwiches, as well as assorted cookie and macroon boxes. Everything was packaged to-go well, looked incredible, and was SO yummy. Even the mocha coffee special was tasty. Cant wait to try their lunch and all the other delicious desserts & pastries, and ofcourse to bring family when they visit!

Well well well.... The tremendous effort that was put into reviving one of most historic properties has really paid off! not only is the building beautiful but this may be the best bakery and intimate small food venue on the west side of Portland! The staff and the food is that good and even on a gray day in Oregon one can sit in the bathed in light coming through windows on the east and south side! If you have a chance to come please do so. I meet clients here often and its always a real treat to show off our city well Im doing my day-to-day work as a real estate broker and consultant. One things for sure, we have a real gem in Hillsboro!

I’ve really enjoyed going into Decadent Creations since moving to the area. I love the welcoming, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. I’ve had more than my share of pastries and their sandwiches are dreamy! We just had them make a cake for our daughters birthday and we were absolutely blown away by the masterpiece they created! Wow you guys! It was beautiful! But it was just as delicious as it was pretty. Do yourself a favor, let them make the cake 😋🎂🌈

Wow! Blown away by everything about this place. It is situated in an old house first off, so the building is adorable! The decor is so fabulous, where did you guys find that mirror frame in the bathroom?? Outdoor seating on the porch is so perfect on a sunny day. Upstairs seating and event space available. The staff are so friendly. The pastries are to die for!!!!! It’s hard to pick just one. The macarons are hands down the best around! Try the Earl Grey and Passionfruit flavors!!!! The coffee is delicious. They even make their own syrups. There is a full breakfast and lunch menu. What a fabulous find in super cute downtown Hillsboro!

I ordered one macaroon and regretted not getting all 10 that were left. I picked a pistachio macaroon because lets be real, pistachio is the best. This was easily one of the best macaroons Ive had. The texture!!! Crunchy, flakey yet chewy and soft. It was absolutely everything. I cant wait to come back and get more macaroons and try all the other treats!!

This cafe/bakery has the fame of having an owner who won an episode of Food Network show, Chopped. But even without that distinction, this shop is a wonder. The baked goods - brioche, cupcakes, pies... etc - are flavorful and dare I say... decadent. They also have top notch savory offerings - the cowboy breakfast sandwiches and their biscuits and gravy are my favs. Definitely a Hillsboro treasure.

Today I was searching for a new coffee shop to enjoy for I have a huge addiction to coffee. When I came across this lovely shop, “Decadent Creations” I knew had to stop by and see what they served. I was warmly greeted with a smile by the lovely barista who went by the name Camilla. She sweetly recommended some cozy, delicious coffee drinks and tasty treats. I have never met a kinder barista. This lady definitely deserves a raise. She guided me through the process of ordering and carefully yet lovely created my coffee beverage. As she bid me goodbye, I knew I would be returning soon. I highly recommend coming to this cafe just to be served by the lovely Camilla.

Popped in during my lunch break and ended up with cupcakes. The flavor choices didnt really excite me, I got 1 of each flavor. Honestly, I wasnt expecting much but to my surprise they were really good! The cake was light, moist and flavorful. What I really loved was they were not overly sweet like most bakeries.

Great local bakery with amazing food and atmosphere. They also have great outdoor seating in the front and back of the building.

This is such a great local business! The quality of cakes and desserts are superb. We love the salty dog coffee. The salty dog cake is even better!

The good:Amazing ambiance, great customer service (especially from the manager), unique options like the earl grey scone and toffee cookie.The bad:They are very overpriced for the product AND for the area. They rush through the processes of making their drinks, pastries, and pies. This results in them asking $20 for pies with burnt crusts, pastries so heavy in nutmeg that it’s almost all you can taste in it, and sugar cookies that are hard and bland. End products are a quality that you would consider a fail and throw out if made in your own kitchen. Then you go the next week and everything tastes good. It’s disappointing how inconsistent they are with flavor especially for the prices.Overall:3 stars because they are pretty good but overpriced for the area and product. They underdeliver on quality. Plenty of room for improvement. I hope they take steps to do so.

Love the vibe, had the lemon biscuit

Ordered 2 dozen mini cupcakes (the Buckeye) the night before my husbands birthday. Super easy, and I really appreciated that I could order such amazing cupcakes on such short notice. Oh my goddd - the first thing our friend said after a bite.

A few things to note:I ordered a cake weeks in advance and it wasnt quite ready at the scheduled pick-up time. I had to wait about 10 minutes, which was fine. At least I know its fresh.The cake was REALLY lopsided. Like, I was afraid it would smash up against the box if I took a corner too fast while driving it home. It survived the trip home though.When we cut into the cake, you could see how lopsided it was. On one side there was easily over an inch of frosting, while the other side had a thin layer. I honestly dont understand how the layers could be so off from each other.If we were to just judge this cake on looks and construction, it would be a fail.The good news:Its probably the most delicious cake weve ever had. So freaking good. Even though we had a ton of frosting on one side, the frosting was perfect. Not too sweet, but sweet enough.While it seemed like this cake was thrown together at the last minute, it was delicious.

Lacks finesse, pastries good but nothing delicious. Macaron to chewy. Flavor is ok. My partner got sausage biscuit and before taking the first bite it all fell apart and crumbled as trying to eat it. The place is super cute and love the atmosphere, food is ok

Wheres the 4.5 star button when I need it? DC has become a regular stop on my 30-40 mile bike rides to Hillsboro. But lets be honest, Hillsboro isnt on many must eat destination lists. DC (and the many authentic Mexican restaurants nearby) really should change that! Their macrons are on par with Portlands highly regarded Pix Patisserie. Their scones, cookies, and other pastries are similarly excellent--and always fresh. One day Ill drive there and try their cakes and local fruit cobblers too. They also offer very good sandwiches, soups, and more. Lunches are on par with Grand Central Bakery and Elephants Delis. Good outdoor seating and very friendly counter service. So why deduct 0.5 stars? Despite 9 visits I havent found the killer exclusive, exceptional, shining confection that sets them apart from Portlands other top bakeries yet. When I do Ill gladly rewrite my review. And P.S. I have every confidence that will come soon. Eat here!

I LOVE the shortcake biscuits and have been known to go to the Beaverton’s Farmers market right when they open with the sole purpose of buying some before they sell out. They are light and heavy at the same time, with just the right amount of sweetness and a tender crumb. Which is also the same description I would give of the chocolate chip mousse cake I just bought. I can’t wait for some more family birthdays so I can try some others. Plus you are supporting a local business and not a large chain and right now that is of dire importance.

I really want to keep coming here but the size of sandwiches keeps getting smaller and quality has dropped a bit. The potato roll was very tough to chew through and most of the bacon was burnt. I waited after a few visits before leaving a review (just in case the first time was a fluke) but this last visit was enough for me to finally comment.

So yummy! I added the greenery and the graduation decoration. The cake and cookie topper were done by them.

Really cute and nice bakery to go for meetings, to grab something to go, or to have a sit down date. My favorite treat is their blueberry scones and also their macaroons are great. One of my favorites are the hazelnut and espresso! They also do baked goods on special holidays and for parties at a really good price!

The Carrot cake was awesome. My wife and I were celebrating our 5th year of marriage and our bakery went out of business last year so we had to find some place new to get a cake. The online ordering was very easy and it only took 2 days. I was very impressed with the selection of cakes I will be trying more.

Ordered two biscuit sandwiches today. Had to return them both. Cheese not even slightly melted and the biscuits were cold on the bottom. Not room temperature, but refrigerator cold which tells me they are not fresh. This seems to be a trend as others have posted similar comments. Honestly, I have been going there for years and the quality has dropped more and more every time I go back and give them a try. Only reason I gave 2 stars is the fact that they do at least make a good macaron, though they are always inconsistent in size and shape. Tasty though. I know this place is popular, but it definitely does not live up to the hype.

I bought a salted honey custard pie and some macaroons from her at the Beaverton farmers market this past weekend. SO. GOOD. I am an avid baker but struggle with pie crust and custards, this was a special treat. And her macaroons were perfect. Highly recommend, cant wait to try more :)Edit: tried the Barbara pie -chocolate chips, hazelnut, and orange zest. It’s amazing!

My friend LOVED the “Birthday” cake (his favorite is chocolate frosting and yellow cake) that Mindy was able to customize for a celebration. Just happened upon this place and its in a cute old house that looked so inviting! The inside feels so nice and its bright and clean. The ladies working there were super nice. My husband and I split a lemon bar and molasses cookie and both were great. They use Water Ave coffee here and theyre my husbands favorite so he was really excited to get a latte here. There are lots of parking spaces for customers to the side of the house. A great experience!

Three words - OH MY GOD - that is GOOD! Well that is 6 words but what are you going to do! Kirra and the kids go in there and get goodies! Both of our families are big fans not only of the food and baked goodies but of the work they have done with the old Buildings! If Hillsboro had more newcomers like Decadent it would be a world class destination! We will SUPPORT these guys as a long as they stay open!

OMG, what formation point starting with the gorgeous old house being used to house the business. Beautiful renovation! The pastries are delicious, not to mention gorgeous. And the coffee was wonderful as well. Friendly, helpful staff made it perfect. Duct in there for an afternoon treat between clients. Will definitely make it a regular haunt.

The owner of this patisserie won on the show, Chopped, and it shows. The flavors of baked goods are spot on and seasoned properly. The cakes and cookies are consistently delicious in taste, but more importantly, the textures are exactly what they should be. Lemon curd items, especially the scones, are tart and satisfying.Savory items are well seasoned and nicely textured. Sandwiches, while smallish, pack in amazing flavor and satisfaction. I seldom want for more.

In 2015 my son & daughter in law used this bakery for their wedding & we loved all the desserts. Recently I had a retirement party for a friend & ordered the casual dessert bar { you get an assortment of treats} & requested a coconut item. Everything was perfect! Cant wait to go to the farmers market for some treats!

Love this bakery. It’s really a great place for fresh baked goods and a simple cup of coffee. Love that they have lemon desserts. They have a pretty good chai tea. I’ve gone here to buy family, friends and co workers bread, cookies, pies - they always love it. Also bought my grand daughters baby shower cookies here. It’s a place you should go to experience. The staff is always kind and friendly. I would say it’s probably not the best place to sit and relax as it’s usually a bit busy. But you won’t be disappointed if you stop by and enjoy their delicious treats!

First off, the food was phenomenal. I ordered the BAM Sandwich and Bacon Potato Salad. The bread was clearly made in house and fantastic. Simple ingredients but treated well and prepared with obvious care. I am also a chef and good food alone doesnt usually make me post a review. It was their customer service that did that for me.I ordered through Postmates and they had run out of an item I ordered. Through technical difficulties on my part the order got cancelled because i didnt list a substitute. I had called the store and found a solution with them but it was too late. I placed my order again minus the missing item just so i could at least get the sandwich. My delivery came with the item i had verbally substituted before and that meant a lot to me. The attention to detail was fantastic. I will without a doubt eat here again. Thank you so much Decadent Creations, the cardamom rolls are stellar.

A unique and cute little spot off the main track in Hillsboro. To say the food and pastries here are excellent is an understatement. The freshness, the taste, the overall delivery is at another level. I can see why they won Chopped. The food is beyond comparison in the area. Portions are a bit small for the cost, but frankly the mouth watering tastes make that irrelevant quickly. A must stop location to experience excellence.

This place is amazing! They have great breakfast sandwichs and chai as well as the most amazing bakery treats! They have done a fantastic job during COVID. Not only have they been following safety recommendations but they went above and beyond during the lock down to provide a fresh market inside their store to bring food and pantry staples to the community but also support local farms to help sell their products. Such an little gem hidden in Hillsboro. They have the most amazing homemade biscuits and great coffee. Everything is local and super fresh. I would definitely recommend their strawberry shortcake kit for the best dessert at home!
