Great experience! Have served my family for many years with caring and amazing service. My most recent experience gave me additional education on the changes my eyes are going through. Their technology and screening are top notch. Everything we need in one location.

Any medical practice is only as good as the reception - and most likely the reception is very indicative of the Doctors attitude in the practice as well.They would not let us know if the staff and doctors in their clinic are vaccinated amidst a pandemic, due to Hipaa- its a medical practice where they deal with patients 10 inch away from ear/nose/mouth, and they say they cannot say if the staff is vaccinated??!!Anyways, like I was told by the Manager there, I have the right to refuse their service when they refuse to say if they are doing everything they can to protect my family from Covid19. So yeah if pandemic/vaccination etc are your expectations, please do not waste energy with this practice

I had an awesome first experience at Hillsboro Vision Clinic. Everyone was friendly and professional, and on-time. The office is lovely and its in a really convenient location with easy parking (which I appreciate). I saw Dr. Drew, and he was awesome. Easy to talk to and made the whole visit a breeze. As a side note, the staff was great at communicating about insurance and co-pays well before I was checking out which was awesome. Overall, I give the whole office a 10/10!

As always, my visit was pleasant. Everyone was friendly and efficient from when I came in until I left after my appointment. I only waited 5 minutes when the technician lead me to the testing room, it was quick and we’ll organized. Dr. Perry always knows how to resolve any issues and explains thoroughly all of the testing results and makes good decisions and recommendations for my eye health.

The staff at Hillsboro Vision Clinic was great! Upon arrival, we received a warm greeting and clear instructions for our visit. After completing paperwork, we were promptly taken back for our exams. The staff took the time to explain each test and how it would ultimately impact a potential vision prescription. After tests were completed, we received an honest recommendation and were advised the glasses were an option but were not necessary. The staff took the time to explain how benefits would be applied to the glasses we chose and clearly broke out the expected cost. They even asked to hold off on charging for a specific pair of glasses until they could confirm that the appropriate lenses were available. I sincerely enjoyed the interaction with the entire staff. I would absolutely recommend Hillsboro Vision Clinic to my family and friends.

Three weeks ago spent $167 for eye exam. Need prescription glasses for work. Ordered pair with side shields, which have to be permanent.Went in today. Glasses not what I ordered nor was prescription correct. Glasses made everything look odd shaped. Hard to explain.Find another place.

Excellent experience from the moment I scheduled the appointment,when dealing with the front desk, getting all the vision tests, to the doctor being honest, and saving me money by not subscribing glasses when glasses were not needed.I couldnt be more pleased.Thank you to all the staff, I will definitely be saving their number for any future needs.

I have been taking my family to see Dr Andreason for years here. He is so patient and kind. Were in town for a few weeks, from a large cross country trip but my daughter forgot to pack her contacts. I called Hillsboro Vision Clinic to see if I can purchase an emergency pair. They said no, theyre not sold superately like that. The kind lady atthe front desk took the time to check if they have spares and they found a pair and gave it to me at no cost!! Im so relieved my daughter can now see comfortably. I highly recommend this place to anyone - theyre clean, kind, patient and well stocked!!!

I simply can’t say enough nice things about this place. Every single aspect of our experience was exceptional. When making our appointment, Kat was efficient and delightful. Even the reminder call was super friendly. When we walked inside, we were greeted by several front desk ladies, all very pleasant and welcoming. My first child was taken back for eye testing by Faith and she was so warm and friendly with our little guy. She made all the big and intimidating machines actually fun for him and took the time to explain their names and what they do. When Dr. Drew came in he was everything I could hope for in a doctor— friendly, professional, knowledgeable and really took the time to answer all of our questions in a calm and easy to understand manner. While son #1 was finishing up, Faith did the testing on son #2. Dr. Drew then started the exam for our 2nd son, seamlessly transitioning from son #1 and #2. When both exams were down, he brought us out and personally introduced us to Amy who was there to help us pick out their glasses. In this day and age of feeling more like cattle being processed often caring only about if a child’s mask is on correctly, being barked at and treated like a number, this Hillsboro Vision Clinic stands head and shoulders above the rest. What a breath of fresh air. And I mean that literally for me because I have breathing issues and they accommodated my face shield whereas some places don’t — even with a medical exemption from a doctor. Instead, every member of my family was treated with dignity and respect. I LOVE this place. I just wish everywhere had such high standards. THANK YOU FOR SUCH AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE.

They have a great selection of frames and the girl helping me went above and beyond showing me a variety of frames in the style that I described instead of just having me browse. We arrived early and you worked us in. We travel over an hour since buying a new home, so it is hard to judge time due to traffic and delays. You all are very professional and friendly. Dr. Kenyon is very efficient and tells you exactly how your 👁️ sight is. A young man, I think his name was Andrew did the pre-exam. He was so polite, friendly and also efficient. Dr. Mathew Perry has been my favorite optometrist for a couple decades. Kept me seeing well, got me through one cataract surgery, eye bugs, and dry eye problems. Hes always pleasant and knowledgeable. Im hoping he doesnt retire any time soon.😉

I hadn’t had an exam in three years due to COVID and my schedule. Decided I was due and got on their website which is super simple to navigate. Had an appointment within minutes for my preferred time! Showed up and was immediately checked in, no wait! Went right into the exam rooms and got my tests done and was out before I knew it! Everyone is friendly and professional, I definitely recommend this place!

My children have been seen here for about six years. The staff is always very friendly and professional. They are so patient with kids of all special needs and ages. We have always felt heard and well cared for. They are extremely knowledgeable, and very good with educating the patients in a clear manner.

This is because I really enjoy being a patient of Dr Andreasen and everyone on staff is so nice and helpful. Ive even had issues before where I had to get advice over the phone vs. having an appointment, and it was a relief that they were able to help me over the phone with my eye issue and all I had to do was buy OTC allergy eye drops. Also! Every time I have an appointment, as a contact lens wearer, I am leaving with a fresh pair of contacts. Thats awesome! Overall great clinic, awesome stuff, and I will continue to return!

I brought my daughter here for her first eye exam when she was less than 1 year old to see Dr. Kenyon. Dr. Kenyon was so kind and gentle with my daughter and she also took the time to explain everything to me and give me tips of what to watch for at home (I have great vision so everything is really unfamiliar). The only disappointing part is that I moved away so we can’t see her again. If I ever move back, I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else!

I was ten minutes late but they didn’t treat me like a criminal for it; it was nice to have that experience in the age of Covid. Everything was clean, everyone was able to socially distance really well, and I felt like the exam was efficient and they made sure my questions were answered. Dr. Andreasen was super nice and made me feel comfortable. Bailey was fantastic out front! I told her the general style I was looking for and she starting pulling frames for me to try! She’s great at picking flattering styles for your face and found me a great pair of Ray Bans. I’ll be encouraging my coworkers to check them out.

I saw Dr. Perry. He was great, really took the time to examine my eyes and find the correct new Rx. He explained everything well and gave me a good idea of what to expect in the future for my vision. A staff member went over my insurance coverage with me and I decided to get my frames there. The staff really went above and beyond to help me find a pair of frames. They closed just a few minutes after my eye exam. But they let me stay and 3 staff members helped me pick a pair of frames. They were super helpful! My glasses were ready in just a week. I love them and have already gotten used to the progressives. A great experience. They do not have a huge selection of frames. So if that is important to you you may decide to get your Rx filled elsewhere. But the exam is really well done.

I have been going here for about 15+ years now. I have watched them expand their building, selection of eye wear, and their staff. I love the fact that they stay open later so those of us with busy work schedules, can still get quality care after hours. Dr. Matthew Perry is wonderful, knowledgeable and patient. You can ask him anything, and he will take the time to explain it in easy to understand language. They always seem to have some new equipment that takes a better picture of my eye, which is really cool in high resolution. The staff is warm and friendly you just never feel stressed when you are there. Their selection of frames also seems to grow. Paul is very helpful in selecting just the right frame for you, and can explain all the options as well. Carol is great. I think she keeps everything running. She keeps me reminded about my appointments, as well as being able to tell me if Im going to look good or not with my new frames. This is simply the best place to go in my opinion.

I recently changed eye doctors and went to Hillsboro Vision Clinic for the first time a few weeks back. I saw Dr. Andreasen and he was very warm, personable and I never felt rushed or like I was in the middle of a cattle call. He answered all my questions and had the insight to ask me if anything has changed in the last few years in terms of my eyesight and my day-to-day activities. I realized that I started reading sheet music a year ago and struggle to read it. He wrote me two prescriptions and I decided to buy separate glasses for the piano and general reading. I received my glasses today and they are perfect. Amazing difference and my quality of life just improved. The opticians were great too in terms of selecting frames and fitting. Bravo guys!

My son has anxiety issues and has a difficult time making decisions, especially in an office situation. The staff is incredibly patient and helpful. They went well out of their way each time we visited the office (6 times in as many weeks) to help him find the best frames even with all of his pickiness. The doctor was very calm and understanding too. Such a pleasant experience.

Dr. Perry has been there for me through my lasik surgery as well, very easy to talk to. He is always on top of what my insurance can offer. I highly recommend!

And while I’m sure the staff were anxious to start their weekend, it did not show. We saw two different doctors, and they were both amazing - very professional & patient.The office & optical assistants were all very nice too - explained everything, and didnt mind repeating when asked to.Just overall a very pleasant experience.Very well run practice, and I wish all the other medical practices could be like them.

I had two separate breaks and a lens chip on a pair of glasses I purchased here two years ago. I mentioned my concerns about the manufacturing quality of the brand of frames and Paul at Hillsboro Vision Clinic called the manufacturer himself to investigate. The manufacturer acknowledge known poor quality in those frames. Paul told me I could pick out any new frames I wanted and he would replace them for FREE. He got my new lenses into the new frames in just a few days and I’m feeling great in my new glasses. Thanks, Paul!

Ive been going here for years, and have always had good experiences. However, during my last trip, I never got a call when my glasses were in and had to call myself to find out that they were ready. When I got there, the technician who is meant to adjust the frames to sit properly didnt really seem like he wanted to help me, and rushed the consultation. He would only adjust things upon my recommendation, which seemed weird considering hes the professional in the situation. It was odd, considering Ive always had positive interactions with many of the employees during my years coming here. Still, the best vision place Ive ever been to by far.
