So far this summer (2020), ive purchased and installed about $550.00 of postmaster posts (DIY homeowner). one is called the gate post and it has a special Postmaster Gate post cap. ive spoken with the local retailer from whom Ive purchased posts and they werent aware of the existence of the post cap. so I contacted the master halco folks in hillsboro oregon. i spoke with a rep who also told me no such product existed. i sent him a diagram that I received that shows the cap as part of the product line. So..., after 45 minutes on the phone with the two aforementioned parties, i was able to order the part; yes it does exist.i was told by my local retailer that the cap costs $5 and there is an additional $20 shipping fee. i asked if they were passing along the shipping from from the wholesaler in hillisboro and they said yes. so, i thought that I might get a bit of good ole fashioned customer service by asking the folks in Hillsboro if they would consider waiving the shipping fee. the answer was a flat No. i was told that this is a new product and that there are no caps in their hillsboro location, so that I must then accept the shipping fee. the inference being that since this product is new, there is no reason I should expect that the Gate Posts caps would/should be available to purchase at retail here i Oregon.whats most important is my home and completing my project with quality and durability. I purchased the Postmaster products for nearly 100 of fencing this year and plan to purchase products for an additional 50 in 2021. i will buy this cap from my local retailer and pay the additional $20 shipping fee. that said, im very displeased with the Hillsboro Master Halco reps insistence that I pay the $20 shipping fee for a product that they didnt even know existed until I brought it to their attention, and should have been local in the first place.

Drivers: cut off time for deliveries is 2:30 a min later and u might as well find parking for the night
