Fun place to explore while searching unique books for your perfect match.
Great little bookstore in the middle of nowhere! Very busy on a nice spring day. Lots of nooks and a great selection. Call ahead if you have books to trade in or sell.
This place is heaven to me and anyone who loves books. I wouldnt have known about it if not for my cousin, who had been a customer there for countless years. I am endlessly grateful a place like this exists. It is a treat and a pleasure every time I go and brings much happiness to me and the people I go with, every time. Cant tell you how many times a book has been on my mind that I cannot find anywhere, and I end up finding it here. Not to mention, its a peaceful and homey place on top of having a superb selection. My favorite place.
What a find! Huge number of books, great prices.
Best place ever. Get there!
Love this place! Amazing atmosphere and so many books to choose from... one of my favorite places to go!
Very cute small house turned into a used book stire. Quaintly tucked away on back road. Very well organized books by genre then author. Well worth visiting.Go on a nice day and also enjoy a country walk.
A must go for this part of the world. Exactly what everyone says about it....a well stocked second hand book store run by people who love what they own and are super helpful. Even my kids who said it will be so boring were so drawn in by the vibe and the selection of books for them.
Outstanding bookstore. My husband and I drive 2 hours every season to stock up. The owner is lovely and the barn is so quaint. Highly recommend.
Is there a better bookstore in the country? I haven’t found it. The selection is brilliantly curated, the prices not to be believed. Hillsdale’s blessed by this place. I hope it’s around forever.
An absolute gem of a used bookstore, tucked away down a beautiful back road. Warm, friendly staff. Tons of books and beautiful places to peruse them. Cant recommend this place highly enough!
This is by far the most unique, cute, quaint, interesting and beautiful little book store I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The picturesque surroundings (do justice) to the twists and turns of the book barn. Its a beautiful little barn that appears smaller than it actually is. Finding a book is an adventure in itself and you can spend hours just looking for something. Once you find it, there is a complimentary cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate waiting upstairs. Find a good book and start your epic adventure. Cant wait to visit.....again! I recomend 100 times!!!
Great hidden treasure. Wish they took credit cards though. But the deals are so good, I dont mind a quick trip to the ATM.
This is an out-of-the-way used book store with an extensively curated selection. Its strongest in literary fiction, biography, and criticism. The most amazing thing is the prices... many books are less than five dollars. The store doesnt sell online and the prices are much lower than what youd pay online for the same books (not even considering that youd probably pay as much in shipping as you do for the books here!).Theres also a well stocked annex with even cheaper hardbacks and 50 cent paperbacks. A free table had an interesting selection too.
Wonderful books, reasonably priced. Too bad theres a strong musty odor. I can only take about ten minutes inside.
My favorite bookstore. I have found countless treasures there. I look forward to every visit like a school boy anticipating a visit to a sweets shop.
This store has character and any book lover visiting the area must find it. It is exactly what a used bookshop should be: friendly, quirky, well-stocked, comfortable, reassuring.
This should be a national monument, to paraphrase e l Doctorow.
A treasure chest of pre-loved books! Cozy corners to sit and read in and lovely staff! (Shout out to Ms. Karen!)
What a great place yo browse for books. Beautiful english country garden yo walk around. Very welcoming.
Quaint..fun..with interesting decor..and many wonderful books
I love, love, LOVE this place!
Just so lovely ! Maybe not too easy to find but perfect on a rainy afternoon, lots and lots of shelves, nooks and crannies to explore. I never walked out without a big pile of new old books.
A fine, well-stocked and reasonably priced bookstore in the middle of nowhere. Always worth the drive!
Great selection, prices, atmosphere, location, proprietor.
One of the most magical places youll ever experience.
A great place to stop and shop
A wonderful selection. There is free coffee on the second floor.
Cozy old barn filled with books
Cool place to visit! Used books, CDs, vial records.
Great store. Fair prices.
Drove up for my semi-annual fix. Square inch for square inch, still the best used bookstore on the planet!
If the hobbits visited a bookstore on their travels through Middle Earth, it would be Rodgers Book Barn.
My happy place for 30 years
Overloaded with books of every kind.
Best used bookshop ever.
Literally a barn stuffed with books of all categories. I believe the books maybe holding up the roof.
Worth the drive!
Fantastic.
My first bookshop.
