We went to American Stone trying to get a good looking and affordable counter top for our kitchen in the basement. We talked to another maker before, for a laminate counter top, because we were sure we couldnt afford granite. But once we agreed on something, he started adding this much for the template, and this much for the installation, and this much for this edge (quarter round) etc etc. I decided not to hire him.So I called and emailed others, and Steve responded right away, he invited us to their shop, we went. Greg was there, he showed us more options, explained possibilities, worked within our budget. Very straight forward and honest people, a lot of experience.We agreed on what we needed this past Monday 8/24. They sent Paul and Fernando to measure the space that same evening. The counter was ready yesterday, and the same people came to install it today. They found a little trouble in an angle that wasnt perfectly 90 degrees, but were able to fix it on site, and it looks unbelievable. There was no extra charge for anything, and they gave us a great, under mount, deep, stainless steel sink.I was worried, I didnt know them. They have been extremely professional, responsible, and listened to our needs. I would definitely call them again, and recommend them when asked.

We had the ugliest kitchen in NJ! Steve did a complete renovation on schedule and within budget. All of his team were professional, respectful and on time. It was incredible to watch the transformation and we are extremely happy with our new kitchen. I highly recommend this business.

I have a quartz countertop that was chipped. I called Steve on a Saturday and he responded promptly. The repair was taken care of Monday morning, and my counter looks new again. The workmen were professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend Steve and his team.

Came on time, Installation was done properly, smoothly, countertop looks gorgeous. I highly recommend American Stone .

Im not sure about the other reviews but my experience was just fine. Had the measurement done and granite installed within a week. The person I dealt with was professional and found an almost exact match to my five year old existing granite. Very satisfied with all phases of the process.

We had a granite countertop that was cracking and about to fall apart. Steve and his team came in, assessed the damage, and gave us a price that we found very reasonable. His workmen were very polite, professional, and clean. We couldnt be happier with the final outcome. I would recommend Steve and American Stone Inc without reservation.

This guys promised something but delivered something else, too delay on delivery, i need to stay home waiting for them but never showed up twice and i almost lose my job.And they start with small price and make sure end up double the cost.They deserve NEGATIVE STARS

Very bad experience. American Stone installed a scuffed counter top and promised to come back with special tools to buff and polish it and fix one of the unfinished edges. I followed up with them on multiple occasions for over a year and owner, Steve kept promising, next time we are in the area well stop by, but never did. In our last conversation he got frustrated and hung up the phone on me and that was the last time we spoke. American Stone cant be trusted to finish a job.

Their inventory is very limited, awful costumer service, I ended up buying their granite what a big mistake I made, they tell you one thing at the store, but for the installation was a nightmare, their schedule is messed up, unprepared, not on time, call their office they start harassing you, the gentlemen name Gido not an honest sells rep..
