I love Kadota Liquor! It as all the good stuff. There are all the classics, but always something new to try. Be responsible and go to Kadotas first. 😁

This is the only place I know of that has a great selection of sour beer. While most stores may have one, two tops- Kadota will have 10. Lots of fun beers, Local, Belgian, Japanese, big names, and little. Definitely my go to, though it helps to be a monopoly. Wish the prices were a couple bucks cheaper but hey were on an island.

Need to stock your bar with standards plus a few unexpected delights? This is the place. Looking for something special? Ask for help. Service is friendly and knowledgeable! Want to splurge? Theres a secret room where the really good stuff is tucked away. What a wonderful find. Once you come here, youll never buy your wine at the grocery store again. So many delightful surprises here.

Extremely well varied selection. Central location in downtown Hilo. Family run business attached to a locally themed take-out restaurant. Very much caring of customers safety in this Pandemic. Special orders can be made and you will be notified upon arrival. Im personally located quite close and this place allows my comfort at home to be easily accessible. Look for Jaylynn.

This store has a great team and the largest selection of beverages I have seen on the island barring a store in Kona. I find a different brew I wish to try everytime. Beer of the day is Birra Moretti LavRoosa from Italy.

Always fine a large assortment of liqour. The size of the store looks small but dont let it decieve you. Prices are awesome.

Decent liquor and craft beer selections. Prices are not offensive, but certainly much higher than other places. Being the only option in town for a lot of these bottles, I guess they can charge whatever they want.

The best possible staff, especially Erica! She is the best! The best place to get a variety of different spirits. They also have a vast imported beer selection. I love Chimay Trappist Ale. They have relatively high prices, but their on sale items are unbeatable in price.

Right down the road from my house big selection well I think the biggest selection of alcohol so if you drink thats the place to go and get Ks right there can grind one time

Kadota Liquor has a great selection of wine, beer, and spirits, and some of the unique things you wont find at the other stores. They also host free or paid tasting events so make sure to stay tuned so you dont miss some great events!

Kadota has a huge selection compared to anywhere else in town, definitely go there to find your more rare alcohols. The price is not always very good compared to grocery stores, especially if your just buying more basic things like rum, beer, vodka, etc.

Locally owned liquor store that’s loaded with hard to find types of liquors, wines, beers, etc. Prices are acceptable considering you can find things there that isn’t usually available elsewhere. Of course they have the regular stuff too. Good place !

All kine stuff! Maybe not the cheapest beer in town but the best selection. THE local liquor hook up in Hilo period! You get what you pay for! Liquor product knowledge like no other competitor and their finger on the pulse of what’s new in the local marketplace and not having their thumb on the scale! Hahahahaha! In other words you get what you pay for in a well rounded store with a wide ranging stock of stuff from gift boxes with decorative cocktail glasses from the last major holiday to limes for your Mexican beer and don’t forget your bags of ice, eh!

Great selection, especially liqour and sake, but beware of beer age. I just make sure to buy stuff with the date stamped on it, have a lot of good 22 oz bombers, but some are well past their BB date.Still, Ill always be back when I need a bottle for a special occasion.

If youre from the mainland, this is what amounts to a BevMo here in Hilo. It is easily the best liquor store on the east side and they will often special order if you cant find what you want.Even better, many times they have better prices on beer/wine than most of the KTA, so if youre local, definitely get your better deals here.The whiskey and Scotch selections are better than any of the other stores here and they even carry Asian-styled sorghum and rice spirits.
