Great place for Bagels! I loved the Everything and the Cinnamon Raisin ones. Service was friendly and quick. Only thing that I didnt like was the Coffee. But no worries, I will be Back! 😀

Fantastic sandwiches! Great bagels!There is a nice patio outside, and some seating inside (50%, I guess), but if you’re getting takeout, you might want to call in the order, since it takes a little time to make these masterpieces!Also, there is a bike rack out front. Quick ride from Palmetto Dunes!

Best bagels I’ve had in a long time! My wife and I came here twice on vacation, and will definitely come back. Wait time can be a little long, but for the quality of the food I can understand why. Best bagels outside of New Jersey/New York!

Wanted to give this place 5 stars because the bagels were great, but the service not so much. The gentleman taking orders was very rude and while standing in line, we witnessed him talk very poorly to several guests. He would not let people order more than one bagel per person, made call ahead orders wait in the walk-up line (whats the point of ordering ahead?), and got very annoyed when we asked to add cream cheese to our bagels. This experience stopped us from coming back.

This place was really good. Quick breakfast stop with awesome variety of bagels, homemade cream cheeses and breakfast sandwiches.This place would’ve got 5 stars from me had the service not sucked. The lady was super impatient and came across very annoyed and irritated. A pleasant food experience tainted by one sour employee. Too bad.

Great bagels and good breakfast sandwiches. I like the old-style wire they use to shoot orders over to the cooks. A plain diner feel to sit and eat inside or outside. Also good to grab and go if you’re in a rush.

Do not go here. I asked them to slice the four bagels I purchased, was the only customer in the store at 715a on a Saturday, and they wanted to charge me a slicing fee. They said that they only slice bagels for free if you are ordering a bagel sandwich. 40+ years of walking into bagel shops around the world and never been charged a slicing fee. Oh and btw, these bagels are just miserable pieces of dough. Go across the street to Kroger and buy something from their bakery counter. Slicing fee. NFW!

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!I brought my family here for breakfast on 7/26/21.We waited 15 minutes to get to the counter to finally place an order, my son looked in the show case and pointed at the empty cheese Danish pan.I was like ya the Danishs are gone so what.Then he said no look closer....BUGS!!!There were what appeared to be fruit Flies crawling on the croissants and Danish... not to mention all over the empty trays...Totally gross.Also side note noticed;The eggs were being cooked in the microwave...We walked out immediately !

Not a good first impression with customer service. There was a misunderstanding and trying to correct it the cashier got upset and we did not get what we wanted. Felt like we where being punished and what was to be a nice lunch turned into a uncomfortable experience where we had to go to Kroger to get cream cheese for our bagels.It came highly recommended so I think if you are young, attractive and have no disabilities you will be fine. Food not worth the price we paid.

I mean, Ive had better bagels on and around NYC, but Im not going to complain about these. Theyre pretty good. Reasonable prices too, so the value is quite favorable. If youre going to get bagels on HHI, youre probably not going to do any better.

Disappointed this am. I am an Island resident who thankfully gets his bagel fix during trips back to NJ/NY, but this am I wanted bagels for guests visiting. Masks are required here - and rightfully so - that’s why I was surprised to see the woman preparing my bagel wearing a mask that only covered her lips, her nose exposed. After watching her for a while to see if she would adjust it on her own,I politely pointed to my mask and reminded her to adjust hers. She pretended to either not hear me or not understand me so I repeated the request when the cashier/manager approached her station. Forced to acknowledge me now she mumbled something about not being able to breathe with it. I looked at the cashier and he just shrugged. I don’t know what happened to the original manager/owner from the northeast that used to work here, but his supervision is much needed here. PS the butter on a non-toasted bagel was warm and not fresh and cold.

Great food and coffee. Absolutely love their ordering system, it is so efficient compared to some other establishments. My husband and I are always searching for authentic NY style bagels and Island Bagel & Deli certainly fits the bill! You won’t be disappointed!

Consistently a top quality experience. We have come here nearly every Sunday after church to get a dozen bagels for the last year. At most bagel places you can expect variance in quality due to many factors. Maybe we are lucky, but every time we come here they always taste just right. The wait is always worth it. We appreciate them very much!

New owners are not following face mask requirements. On the 3rd time it happened, I walked out. The new owner walks in from the out side and goes directly to the coffee maker without washing his hands or bringing his mask over his face. He then proceeds to walk back-and-forth from the back Room along all the food laughing and talking and touching everything then walks outside 2 minutes later comes back. I talk to the cashier who was afraid to say anything to him.

The smell hits you at the door. The bagels are crazy good. The service is guick. The lady at the register smiled at me. I could see it under her mask. Will give you a heads-up when I try the coffee. Stay tuned!

Coffee was pretty watery. Very rude workers. They don’t like when you ask questions about the menu. They are practicing social distancing but this place is disgusting. Very dirty and uncleaned. They do have cute outdoor seating. They offer espresso options but only 2% and whole milk. No dairy free options. The bagels are priced at $1.25 per bagel. They do have a lot of options for food but it’s a long wait.

If you’re looking for NY style bagels this is the best place on the island. The breakfast sandwiches and baked goods are also delicious. Nice relaxed atmosphere and good service. Highly recommend.

Amazing bagels and great coffee too. I had breakfast here almost everyday I was in Hilton Head. I don’t eat dairy so I often had the mega veggie sandwich for breakfast, it was great. My sister had the Jersey bagel and she said it was amazing. The service is great and everyone is extremely friendly. I will definitely go back next year. I do wish they had plant based cream cheese.

This is a wonderful spot for breakfast, at least that is why I have been here on more than one occasion. I order a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon. the server suggested I add capers, onions, and tomatoes. I took her advice. When I got my bagel, it looked too big to eat whole so I ate it half at a time. Each side was equally delicious. its a bit out of the way but well worth the effort.

Excellent bagels outside of NYC!

If there was a 0 star option I would gladly use it. I got two sandwiches; the Jersey sandwich without egg. To start the sandwich is way too expensive for the quality of the food, and on top of that the sandwich was two pieces of Taylor ham with one slice of cheese! You are gonna tell me that’s worth $5? Never come here you are better off going somewhere else to spend your money for it’s worth, it cook at home.

Best bagels on the island! Tried their cream cheese for the first time. They say they make the plain fresh daily. It is very tasty.

Bagels are good, large selection and quality is close to the northeast as youre gonna get down here. Somewhat abrupt service but acceptable considering morning rush. Coffee is definitely not with gettings, its Seattles best but even then ita thinner than Id expect.Id come back for the bagels

The orange butter AND cream cheese on a bagel was superb! This place always calls us back. We feel it when we cross the bridge. Plus, its good place to rest on a bike ride.

I have being a customer of the Island Bagel Company for Six Years. Every time I walk in I am greeted and immediately given amazing customer service. The Bagels are amazing and you can order from a very big selection of bagels. They offer an amazing menu that covers breakfast and lunch. I love the bagel with fresh Salmon and fresh onion on top. They offer great coffee and a wide selection of pastries . You can also buy various spreads for your bagels. I love the honey walnut spread. It should be noted I have traveled all over the world and the United States. The Island Bagel Company ranks high on my list of places to enjoy Bagels. This establishment rates five stars and more. In closing I certainly will be returning in the near future. Great customer service, very clean and plenty of tables to sit at. A must visit if you are in Bluffton, Hilton Head Island, Beaufort and Savannah.

This is my go-to for a great breakfast sandwich. They have some of the best coffee on island as well! I highly recommend it 👍👍

Absolutely amazing bagels. Be careful because they run out of popular bagels later in the day. By 11:45, they were out of cinnamon raisin and blueberry, but I got sesame and chocolate chip instead and they were amazing. They come with a LOT of cream cheese and were perfect. We also tried one of the croissant sandwiches (any bagel sandwich can be put in croissant for 50 cents) that was very good. Some of the best bagels Ive ever had!

I was disappointed, as i have patronized this shop routinely on our previous visits to HHI. Bagels are just so-so. I would single out the blueberry as downright bad: little dark flecks and no blueberry taste at all. The person taking the orders was kind of rude and impatient with us, even though we were the only ones inside ordering anything.

I have never been to a Bagel store that the employee told me that they dont have a bagel slicer and cant cut them for me! I was so shocked I didnt ask or say anything else! HOW on Earth is this place still in business!??A good bagel slicer ( Manuel) is $ 40. Any other bagel store has a way to cut bagels if someone buys a dozen!!Bagels are very tasty but Horrible attitude at least by that employee! ( I visited on Friday, Jan 3 about 11 AM, not even busy time of the day.)

We have had bagels and coffee often at Island Bagel &Deli and have always enjoyed them but today we tried the lunch and it was delicious. We had an excellent pimento cheese sandwich which came with a side of tasty pasta salad and a roasted turkey hoagie with melted cheese. The portions were generous, freshly made and very reasonably priced.The staff is very friendly.

Update 6/10/17 Lowered my rating from 3 stars to 1. Not busy today. Man taking money at counter was rude. Charged $.30 for butter to put on an egg sandwich. Although help was standing around talking, I I had to wash off my table before I could sit down. Egg was under cooked. Original review: Very average. Messed up my husbands​order.

Im so mad right now. I go to the Bluffton store literally 3-4 times every week. They know me by a first name basis and have amazing service, the manager Rita is an awesome person and knows everyone. When I go to the HHI store, theyre rude, mess up my order AND TODAY, the lady took a photo of my bagel punch card because she suspects that Im forging the initials, so I asked her are you suspecting that Im actually forging this bagel punch card and she says yes.Im done with the Hilton Head island location. I doubt the owner has anything to say.

Great local place. Turned out to be our favorite place on the island, except for the HH Island Ice Cream. Did lunch and two breakfasts.

I suppose its not the greatest bagel Ive ever had, but they had a very good selection of bagels, cream cheese flavors, and sandwiches (breakfast and lunch). Definitely would go back.

We go here about 3 times each time we come to Hilton Head! Their veggie omelet (I add bacon-delicious!) on sun dried tomato is soooo good! We also like their cinnamon cream cheese. Been biking here for years:)

Really good bagel shop. Family sampled a few kinds of bagels with cream cheese and some egg sandwiches and everyone was very happy. Busy place on Saturday of Memorial day weeekend but food came out quickly.

What a great place to get bagels and coffee and anything breakfast. They have lunch stuff too. Coffee was very good and they have Tazo tea as well. The owner was so very kind and truly cared for his business. The bagels were fresh and they didnt skimp on cream cheese like some places. A great, classic bagel and deli place.... Exactly what you would want if in need of bagels, sandwiches, etc. Plan to go back next time we are in HHI.
