I tried to arrange payment for a toll, but the website was down. So I called the number on the notice to make a payment for a toll. After following prompts on the automated service, the system would not allow me to make a payment. It transferred me to a customer service representative who after listening to all I had done to make a payment, said we dont take payments over the phone. She held the phone for a few more seconds as I was asking her how I could make a payment for the toll. She didnt bother to answer. She just hung up on me. RUDE PEOPLE!

Inexplicably they closed the building once they stopped the tolls and were collecting the passed .Good service always.

I called because I am having trouble online as my violation number says it’s invalid when I try to pay it. I work Monday- Friday 7:30 to 5:30 and left work early, talked to an associate and said my ETA on my gps was 4:58 and I got there at 4:57 to the doors locked. The inconvenience I have trying to get ahold of someone for them to finally answer the phones, and lock the doors early on me. Stay opened until your said to be closed, means don’t lock your doors til 5. UNACCEPTABLE

The employee that we spoke with was extremely gracious and helpful. She did everything she could to ensure that, when we left their facility, we had all the information that we needed to renew our Palmetto Pass. We noticed that some of the clients in front of us were abrupt with her but she never allowed their behavior to taint her reaction to us.Once we reached her station, we were in and out in minutes. Just exercise a little courtesy and everything runs smoothly.

Rudest cust. service workers Ive ever dealt with.I got blindsided by the $10 admin fee that a few other reviewers have mentioned. I called the 888 number. The representatives tone became loud and condescending when I asked her about the fee. She then told me to send $1.25 in the mail. It seemed like a set up, and I would end up having to pay even more money in the long run. After some finesse I got the manager on the phone an hr later. She was just as rude. Her response was So, are you going to pay the $1.25 or not?.

Doesnt take card. They will wave you on saying youll get a bill in the mail, but what they fail to mention is every bill conveniently comes with a fee that is 400% of the cost to drive on the road. And IF they get your name wrong on the bill and you dont receive it, they tack on another fee for sending a second reminder. Unfortunately, this is the main road going into Hilton Head Island so to avoid it would mean extra time on the trip. If I could avoid ever doing business with them again I would.

They charge ridiculous fees ($10) if you dont have cash to get through the toll and outrageous late fees ($15), but I called and they waived the late fee for me. I will never go back to Hilton head without cash thats for sure!

ABSOLUTE RIP OFF!!!!!! Didnt have change so they photos my plate and said we will send you the bill. $10.00 Administrative fee. Sso for a $1.25 fee now $11.25. MY BAD FOR NOT HAVING ANY CASH. BUT THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO CHARGE THAT. Nor did they tell you. I will be sure to pass this on to as many social media outlets that are out there so people DONT GET RIPPED OFF. ABSOLUTE BS.

I have a palmetto pass I use in Greenville all the time but I still got a violation notice in the mail when I used it in Hilton Head. The customer service reps seem to have no idea what is happening. She told me I have to mail in the toll fee. If they are two separate entities they both should not be called “palmetto pass”.
