Love this lumber yard. Great staff always smiling and willing to help. Only lumber yard on the island and they have the best roofing shingle (my opinion) GAF.

Excellent staff everywhere. The counter, the yard, and the people who know the special order department. This will always be my first stop for any building materials. They have without a doubt the prettiest, best, treated deck boards. They were kiln dried and no knots. Excellent all the way around. Thank you.

Was not happy at all. Guys out in the yard didnt help at all. Very unhappy about it. I thought home Depot was bad. No there not.

Dont ever make a delivery here. Minimum wait til 1 1/2 - 2 hours and you will be the only truck here. The guy that unloads them has one SPEED SLOW AND will NOT come out to the yard without a golf cart to ride on. Is ridiculous you have to wait that long while hes just sitting there and its bad when other employees say the same thing about him. Go to do better

I’ve been a loyal client for years. Craig Smith is our roofing Rep! With him and the team they have it just comes down to good service. From delivering to getting in your special orders. It nice to have a local supplier here to support the local contractors. I like keeping the money we spend local. No reason to go elsewhere with good service and fair prices. Also they have a amazing store in Bluffton if you are looking for windows the showrooms worth the trip and mike out there is a walking window book of knowledge! Did you ever walk into a store and you knew immediately this store serves the professional tradesman. This is Espy. Not that I felt unwanted, its just not the store for an avid average diy person looking for advice along with the right materials. If you know what you need you are in good spot. Wide selection of lumber, easy pickup, witb prices slightly above big box, but when you are on Hilton Head Island you come to expect that.

If you’re delivering lumber to this place have fun. It’s very tight and a pain to get out of. You have to go through the customer parking lot then wait for traffic to clear from two traffic circles which will never happen.

Got hometown Lumber and other building supply company. Connie is a gem and the sales people are all local living on the island for years. Convenient place to get wood for all projects and on the south end of the island.

It was my first time visiting Espy and that is the reason why I did not know they closed 10 minutes after I got there. The sales staff was friendly and knowledgeable and it was the fields staff that made the visit even more enjoyable. I purchased quality interior trim materials that a staff member assisted me in locating the products, but the that was the easy part. The issue is that I needed the 16 products cut in half to fit in my truck and the assistant told me that they do that at the gate. When I proceeded to the gate a few minutes after closing time I approached by Antonio. He never made me feel like it was after hours and not only that when he started to cut the trim materials two additional staff members helped willingly. I apologized for showing up late and not knowing their hours and a few of them said dont worry at all about that all at the same time. Ironically I have been in the construction industry for 32 years now, completing a small scope of work 130 miles from our typical market and they made me feel like I was a large account...…...keep up the great work HR dept (and for hiring great people) and I know where Ill be buying all of my materials from now on when Im in HH.
