Great bread and cheese = great sandwiches. Price is fair for Hingham and the quality/quantity. Make sure to get something with cheese. Owner is a nice lady.

Great butcher sandwich 🥪

Walked by and saw they had sandwiches. My son and I both got the butcher with delicious cold meats. I will definitely be stopping back for other items. Tried their cheese of the day too. If i wasn’t heading to work I would have bought more!!! Everyone was down to earth and friendly to my 7 year old and me. Great place!

They have a vast selection of cheeses and their complexity and pungency ranges vastly as well. They have delicious sandwiches which they make from freshly sliced meat and cheese. Very very friendly and funny staff. Only hang-up is it can be very tight when busy. Besides that, it’s perfect

One of my most favorite places in the sour shore! It is probably the only place you will find high quality cheese, olive oil, etc. Also the most indulgent sandwiches using the high quality charcuterie and cheeses that they sell. Robert makes the most delicious side dishes! And Mary makes everyone feel like a friend! I love this place!

The Bloomy Rind is a hidden Jem that is not hidden! I LOVE this place! If you love cheeses and home made delights hot and cold, you need to visit! The staff is friendly and the owners whom are a brother sister combo are exceptional! You will be hooked your first visit!

Robert (a world class chef) crafts excellent sandwiches, soups, side dishes and pastries in the kitchen while Mary is the friendliest and most knowledgeable cheese monger ever and runs the front of the shop.The best food in Hingham. Stop by for lunch and take something home for dinner, appetizers or a party (they make great cheese plates).

Located across the st from Hingham Historical Society, this is a cheese shop that also sells side dishes and sandwiches. I had the butcher Good sized portions for $9 If you get anything with the Prosciutto, be sure to pick out the fat before you eat it. Nice owners. There are no take home menus, just a sandwich board.

Had a scrumptious Texas Toast with butternut squash soup. Even the brussel sprouts were tasty. Good sized portions. Friendly staff.

Awsome place not just for cheese lovers!! Let ME TELL YOU ABOUT THE CUBANO sandwish !!! The owner is awsome/ great friendly and knowledgeable. This place even carry wine, we got a Porto Ferreira Branco it was a great addition to the cheese we got. I can go on and on, lol. They had some dishes ready to go (healthy) . Must visit and for sure we are coming back.

Not just a cheese shop, although they have an amazing selection of artisan cheese. Daily specials that are an upgraded twist on comfort food, always delicious. Amazing sandwiches with freshly-cut, specially prepared roast beef, Panini sandwiches, stuffed peppers, the flat bread with brie, homemade fig jam and prisutoto is my personal favorite. You have to see the selection to believe it. Their carrot hummus is always a crowd pleaser, but call ahead, because it goes quickly. The owners are great people and will help you pick out just the right items for a cheese plate for a party or just a selection for your own enjoyment.

This place is fantastic! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the owner is omnipresent, the cheese selection is remarkable - I am ashamed to say that despite this cheese monger being open for as long as it has, today was my first visit.I shared the petite cheese plate with my wife which was an anything but petite. This lovely dish (in this case - its different each time, which is truly charming) was composed of double crem and urgelia cheeses paired with a wonderfully complimentary fig jam, dates, cranberries, roasted almonds, and bread.I shall certainly not wait long to frequent this establishment again!

Happened upon this accidentally, what a surprise owner Mary and her staff were exceptionable !! Purchased an assortment of items that were all incredible. Will definitely make this one of my new destination stops. Well worth the trip. The Cubano was one of the best I ever had as was the cheeses, red sauce, fig spread,prosciutto and lets not forget the artisan bread and fresh baked choclate chip cookies!!! Nice cheese shop in the heart of downtown Hingham. Fantastic owners, helpful and friendly staff. Lunch sandwiches and soup are excellent. The grilled Cuban sandwich with ham, mojo pork and pickles is the best this side of lil Havana. I always try to shop small business and support local owners. Grab a sandwich or panini sometime and head over to the harbor picnic tables, you will not be disappointed.
