Publix has good products, and their deli is fantastic, but they also have rather high prices and no loyalty program. I only go here when I want a deli sandwich or deli meat thats better than other stores. Otherwise its not worth the price.

Go here and get about half of what you wanted unless it is BOGO. Then that will be sold out for the next few months

I like going there because I can pick up a ready-made meal or a sub and also get my shopping done its very convenient I can drive all over town to different sub shops and Publix has a better sub than most of the area sub shops plus I can get my grocery shopping done at the same time so its a win-win deal for me thanks a bunch to the deli and staff

I love this Publix .Always love shopping here.I called today to speak to someone in Deli.The phone rang several times finally a lady answered.I explained why I was calling .She snapped at me.Im not in the deliIm far from the deli in customer serviceI Could not believe I was speaking to a Publix employee.She was so rude just the tone of her voice alone .I know this is an isolated case.Publix spends a lot of money training employees on how to treat customers .I love this Publix and I hope shes retrained on customer service skills .

Paul from the meat department was very rude.He was upset because he had to go to the back and get an item that was not out front.Since when is it ok to be nasty to customers and yell at customers? I have shopped at Publix my entire life but have never had an employee be so rude. Asking for an item should not feel like an inconvenience to publix staff. When I did try to speak to the manager about the incident the first thing he said was “Paul said you put your phone in his face”. No I was simply showing Paul a picture of the item that I needed. Instead of addressing the problem the manager on duty made me feel like I was at fault for showing a Publix employee a picture of an item on my phone. It was not ok in any form or fashion for Paul to yell like he did. If customers make him that upset maybe he should work in a department without customer contact. Please work on in store customer service. Thanks!

Super sweet and helpful staff at this store. They are always really cheerful even with everything going on right now. If you have a question and they dont know the answer, theyll find someone for you that does. Its really kinda nice to have that kind of experience lately. The produce is always very fresh and plentiful.

The people that make the subs are fantastic. They are so nice that even if they made a horrible sub Id be please with it. But Ive never eaten a horrible sub from here. Shoppers dont know how to read though, so I suggest making the one way signs bigger.

Unlike many of their other stores, Publix at Bridge Road and Federal Highway refuses to enforce the no mask edict. Very disturbing to encounter people ignoring the arrows/ distancing / and mask rules.They’ve raised their prices enough to pay for extra help/ security to make their shopping experience safe for all their customers.

I love everyone that works here. During the Corona period. I was checking out and notice the counter was sticking and dirty. I asked if she could wipe it. Her response was I have to bring my own disinfectant from home because Publix only uses windex. WTHIts a grocery store.!!!. Deli counter a little slow.

I just want to thank the hard working deli department for the outstanding amount of patience they exhibit on a daily basis. I think this is definitely the toughest department of the store. Every single time I come in, for the last 7 years, there is ALWAYS at least 1 customer, if not more, who is just plain rude to the staff, ranting about the wait, and being just mean... the deli employees go through alot of customer abuse, and still maintain their emotions. I myself, could not. I commend ALL of you who work the deli, and on behalf of all people that arent jerks, WE LOVE YOUR SUBS, AND WE THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO! YOU ARE ALL APPRECIATED💯😊

Disappointed that in our aging community, Publix at Island Crossing is not up to date with its check-out equipment.People must lift cases of water from the shopping cart and other hefty purchases, and then place them on the conveyor. Heavy work if you have just had shoulder, elbow or wrist surgery. Or if the neck is immobilized and you are having pain. Or for those with weak backs.It would be nice to have the checkout assistant just lift her ‘wand’ over the UPC code on the item and then, Job done. No lifting or picking up the heavier supplies.Also, maybe it’s time for a self check out area. This keeps the foot traffic moving and is so convenient once people get the hang of it.

My complaint is with the male manager. I had a question today regarding the safety of the changed packaging of a particular item I purchase there frequently. He never asked my name, didn’t promise to find out, basically blew me off. His assistant was nice enough to give me a phone number where I might get an answer. Everyone else there is quite pleasant I’ve found over the years, but this guy couldn’t even be bothered to google the subject. I did when I got home, got my answer and will now purchase the product at Walmart where it’s cheaper anyway. Maybe it’s my age, but damn whatever happened to customer service from a manager?

Unfortunately i love the company but not this store. There are a few great employees but not many especially the ones at the service department. They are rude and should not be in any customer service industry.

I like this Publix better than others in the area, friendly employees and not to crowded.

I was in line for a sub and the woman there, it’s the second time she renders bad service not sure what I’ve done to her but each encounter is uncomfortable even though I remain amicable. I’m sorry for burdening you for doing your job of making my sandwich. She deliberately put copious amounts of mayo which at first I didn’t care about so much although I did think it was excessive. Then when it came time to put cheese and lettuce she dumped what seem like all of it on my sandwich which prompted me to ask her if she would eat that sub the way she was making it, dead silence for 5 seconds to which I know she was going to say no. I told her she really didn’t have to work there if she didn’t want to, and left. I hope she enjoyed that sub. Another time, a cashier which I greeted formally, per usual, fell on deaf ears, and seemed almost annoyed. Last time I’ll be coming here. I gave them three chances. Chances are they don’t like my “kind” because it seems the discrimination is felt upon arrival. Pay attention to all the 1-star reviews, they speak the truth, all the 5-star reviews are fictitious and conflict of interest.

If I could give a no star I would. My debit card, with a chip, was damaged and Im waiting for my new card to arrive. My card works everywhere except the Hobe sound Publix (go figure they are the ones that told me my card was damaged) but one of the managers at the customer service counter manually input my card so that I could get my groceries until I could order my new card and get it in the mail. A couple days later I go back in to do the same thing, the young girl at the counter remembers me, and told the shift manager that Charlie did it for her last time. This manager laughs and had no idea how to do it then proceeded to tell me that corporate doesnt allow them to do that. Im 37 years old and have shopped at Publix most of my life. You have lost a customer over a lazy manager that didnt want to ask for help!

I come to this publix for groceries and the pharmacy dept. I can now say my family and I will have to drive to the publix over by tequesta from now on. I am completely saddened by the fact that i had to come to the decision to do so bc i live in h.s. but due to SANDY and her poor customer service i/we will not return. Its not fair, nor right, being in a customer service job that we didnt receive a greeting or at least a smile from this cashier, while person after us gets a warm greet. Its not the first this happened because my sister knew almost right away this might happen. #Publixyouneedtodobetter

Had the worst experience today ordering a sub. The older gentleman was rude and could have cared less about making my sub. Slapping on mayo, slapping on the meat and condiments. Then to top it off he practically threw it at me when done. Hello mister, I have to eat this. I just left it at the store. Was so disgusted!!!

This store has ruined my day again.After a very unpleasant experience in the deli two weeks ago I decided to come back to give them another chance. What a mistake. Cashier Kris was very rude and acted like she was being put out ringing up my order. Nutrish dog food was advertised as buy one get one but when I noticed I was being charged for both I asked why. She seemed very annoyed with me and called over a manager who corrected the problem. I was charged twice for the bag of dog food. This is a horrible cashier who treats customers with disrespect.

I’m really disappointed in this Publix and would give it 0 stars if Google would let me.I purchased a prescription 16 days ago for $80, and I stopped in to get a refill today. This morning, after mentioning the unfortunate price of the prescription to one of my coworkers, she told look into GoodRX coupons next time I pick up. I asked the shorter gentleman with dark hair behind the counter if he was familiar with GoodRX. He said they were very aware of the website and savings it offers to customers purchasing without insurance, and that people use it all the time. I wonder why the shorter lady with dark hair and glasses that worked the night of Jan 30/2019 didn’t mention it?I asked if he could adjust the price from my last visit, it would’ve saved me about $50. He appeared willing to do so, but quickly realized he couldn’t, because it had to be within the last 7 days. I was appreciative of his effort. That is not why I am giving one star. I respect that policy.When I mentioned to the gentleman that it might be good practice and GREAT customer service by mentioning this option to people to save them so much money, he said it wasn’t his job. He shrugged his shoulders, and gave me an arrogant smile. He had no desire to help any customer save any money. We all know how coupons work, we know that the insurance/drug companies reimburse the stores for the coupon discounts. Publix is not losing any money by helping a customer save $50, if anything it could’ve made them money by creating brand loyalty. As someone who deals with the public often, I made sure I was very kind to this man with no attitude. I was simply looking for help and some decency. When he asked if I was still purchasing, I respectfully declined my prescription and left the store quietly.His arrogant smile though, was way way too much. Publix has lost a customer for life in me. I (used to) go to this Publix every day to pick up my dinner makings and groceries for the week. I am a young man who will start a family one day. Who knows how much money I would’ve spent over my lifetime at Publix, but now it’ll be $0. I love(d) the fried chicken. I love(d) the deli. I love(d) the produce and the Pub sub. But I will not be returning for anything outside of minimal convenience purchases, especially with Winn-Dixie right across the street.If a manager would like to review the store footage to witness this, it happened on February 15th, 2019 at roughly 2:45pm I’m the pharmacy. I would welcome being contacted to discuss this further.

Very average Publix for the area. Would give it 3 stars, however the deli and the dairy section drag it down to a 2 almost a 1. The deli is a disaster, some of the employees are friendly but appear completely mismanaged. It regularly seems under staffed and the sandwich counter is consistently in disarray, always a guaranteed long wait. Half of the time the dairy section is out of stock of their “Greenwise” products and a majority of the time gallons of milk offered have expiration dates that are less than a week away from expiring.

The Bakery is excellent, very helpful and accommodating, but the deli manager is awful! Refused to make a wrap because it was not on the board. Hello why is your store the only one that does that!!! Not impressed.
