LOVE THIS PLACE! Went after some drinks at pier 13. The staff was very helpful and patient with us. Reasonably priced. The banana pudding fro-yo is delicious! Must visit.

Love this location!! The view is amazing and the store is kept up so nicely. All of the toppings and froyo areas are super clean. Couldnt have asked for a yummier time!

I used to love coming here pre-pandemic. But this was my first time back since late 2019/early 2020 (can’t remember). All I know is it now looks dirty, not well maintained, and to top it off, they just charged me $32 and change for two modestly sized frozen yogurts. You’ve got to be bleeping kidding me… Next time I’ll hit up the. Mr Softee truck across the street for $4 a cone.

Nice frozen yogurt store right across Pier 13 on the boardwalk and close to the bike path (its hard to spot because the signage is almost unreadable), in a corner of an apartment building. Selection of flavors is acceptable but youll find yourself confused as the screens that display the flavor of each machine are either constantly changing, cracked or have an ugly piece of paper stuck on top. Good selection of toppings. Take out containers with multiple flavors available for purchase.

When 16 Handles first came to Hoboken, I was jazzed. I went weekly, often more than once. Its never been what you would call economical, but I always told myself it was an aid in portion control. Over the years, I noticed the price going from not cheap to rather overpriced, but I still stopped in for the occasional indulgence. However, after my most recent visit - Im sworn off for good. It was just after 9 pm so I called first to see if they were open due to adjusted COVID hours. The man who answered the phone said they were officially closed but if we could get there in less than 10 minutes he would stay open, which was kind and it impressed me. I live less than 2 blocks away so we ran out the door in the flash. We arrived and half the machines / flavors were already off and half the toppings gone, but hey...beggars cant be choosers, right? So we got a little something to satisfy the sweet tooth, but upon check out the register rang us up at nearly $20 for our 2 mediocre cups. I asked him to double-check....that couldnt be right? He said it was and was rather stone-faced / not very friendly. We should have walked out but I felt a bit obligated since he had stayed open and frankly, I just wasnt processing the ripoff quickly enough. Anyway, we paid and left and the regret follows me. It was also quite melty, not even up to the usual par of tastiness. Pics attached, you decide.

Dirty place. The cashier stays on the phone all the time even when you’re paying she’s texting right in front of you and doesn’t talk to you.

Delicious ice cream!!! I have tried all the flavors theres none I dont like. My favorite is rose and lavender. I have been to the one is south coast as well as the Glendale location - customer service is great! I would highly recommend it. Very generous with the rewards system.

Very disappointed in my experience at this location. Worker was not wearing a mask, despite the signs that instructed patrons to wear masks, and she was on her phone the entire time. Maybe instead of texting she could have filled all of the empty hand sanitizer bottles? Would not recommend.

Absolutely love this place. My favorite frozen yogurt not only because of the great flavors and toppings but also because of the area it is located in. Its beautiful. What better than a having great frozen yogurt and stepping out to an amazing skyline view. Its the perfect experience especially in the summer. Not to mention the staff is always polite and helpful when needed. Clean well kept. No complaints.

Just to be fair we’ve been coming to this place since 3 years it was awesome and super clean until this year 2019 omg it was dirty the restroom was out of service since last summer the other one was dirty and smell all over the topping is old u can tell the machines is dirty full up with old yogurt, they stop making salted caramel which was the best of all, the taste changed from the years before it’s so unfortunate, if it was for my 2 years old I’ll never come again, they have to do something about it if there is new owner they have to take it from him.

Good self-serve frozen yogurt chain. Pretty busy on a hot day, but staff was friendly and tried to ring customers as fast as possible to avoid long waits. Dont try paying with a gift card or your hold the line up (there is a separate system for that). Spacious location compared to the NYC ones.

Really good product, reasonable prices, wide variety of flavors, and within walking distance of the beach.

Bright and cozy place with plenty of of sugary treats for those with a sweet tooth. Love the fruity yogurts and sorbet. There are also fat free and gluten free options. Staff are friendly but one was a bit sloppy. Clean restrooms.

All the machines were “broken” they only had 3 flavors that were working. It was very dirty and staff was not very friendly.

Definitely like this place, but Im disappointed they arent enforcing anything to do with Covid-19. There were around 10 people inside (small space) and some people didnt have masks on. That aside I like this place a lot.

If I could give this location zero stars I would. Its disgusting how run down and unkept this location is. My fiancé and I decided to pay a visit yesterday, after not going in three years. It is unbelievable how bad this location looks. The screens that show the flavors were cracked, had sticky notes, upside down, a printed label or blank screens. Some of the machines had frozen yogurt piling up on the metal bottom. The floors were cracked and sticky. The topping were all over the counter/floor and needed to be refilled. The place had a musty smell and was hot as well. Overall this place should be shut down with the conditions its in. Such a shame how this place went down hell.

We like coming here every once in a while. The place is clean, the staff is friendly and the selection of fro-yo and toppings is good. Sometimes they run out of flavors but it never bothered me.

I absolutely love this place and the view of New York cant be beat!

The yogurt was good but the girls working there totally ignored us, with their faces in their phones, even when we directly asked them a question. The store was dirty and I watched one of the girls walk over trash on the floor rather than pick it up.

Tbh I just fill up on samples because everything is so good I try every flavor when I go. And they just started serving bubble tea too! What more could you ask for??

The Hoboken location doesnt have all the flavors but its perfectly ok. Delicious occasional treat.

I step in for the first time today. Very clean! Extremely nice employees. A lot of choices to have on your froyo and a great view of the Hudson River by the seats. Nice to have a cup of froyo while the sunsets for a little date night.

The smell other than that the ice cream is great. In my opinion.

Basic flavors. Creepy owner who treats her employees like slaves. Could tell she didnt know how to run a business to save her life. AND theres fruit flies all over the facility. Super unsanitary. NOTHING special about it at all.

A friend of mine and I had a horrible experience here today. My friend brought her support dog in today, which she has brought in multiple times before and was never given a problem. We were immediately treated like criminals by another customer and staff. Instead of being asked politely, the store manager came over and very condescendingly said If youre gonna have the dog in hers he has to be held to the side before asking if he was a service dog or anything. The dog is trained and was not causing any issues. The manager had one of her employees standing over us the entire time which drew a lot of attention. When we confronted the manager afterwards and told her what she did was very rude and embarassing, she just got defensive and continued to be very condescening. She and her staff showed zero sympathy for the scene they made and embarrassment they caused. We could not believe this woman was the store manager. I will never be giving this store any business again. Horrible customer service. She could have politely asked if he was a service dog and offered to bring the youghurt outside to us instead of causing such an issue.
