Walked into the store wasn’t greeted or asked if I needed help. I put my items back and walked out. I actually went to the Ace in Roselle and they were much nicer. As pricey as the products are, you should greet all customers. I can understand if the store was busy. But in this case, the HE store wasn’t.

They had what I needed. But only the premium brands! Well played Ace. Well played.😑

Well stocked local hardware store with very helpful staff.

Stopped for couple things, entrance was not obviously seen. Empty plant hanger was by and I miss entrance.Inside pretty jammed. I dont like writing negative reviews but store needs done improvement.

I like the convenience of the store if I need some diy stuff fast.. but the 1 star knock is on the customer service.. need to improve training staff better to handle all areas of customer service

Every time Ive gone into this store for the past two years or so, I leave frustrated because they dont have what Im looking for. Even before COVID this place was disappointing.

They need to do a better job of keeping items in stock. Empty hooks, bins, shelves. The last 3 visits turned into a trip to another store.

Ok I dont know what happened. its seems like possibly under new management? Not the Indians are bad but they had horrible customer service. Ace is the friendly place where you get answers. I got pointed in the general direction today without a care for my actual concern. Very unlike mr ace or ace in general but if this persists I wont be back.

They had no glass in stock . First time in my life ever seen a hardware store with no glass .Also very slow cashiers and poor stock selection .

Nice work re-screening my sliding patio door. Looks brand new! They were able to get us done quick! Perfect timing as we spend much of our time outside while social distancing.

Picked up an online order at the store. No shipping was charged if I had it delivered to the store.

Ordered brand-new grill online for store pick-up, went for pickup, and they didnt have it in box, they put it on display and told me it can not be disassembled again, and assembled grill didnt fit in my car. They asked me to rent a truck to pick it up and denied 8 mile delivery. Had to cancel order. Bad Experience

10/2020 Have not been in this store for quite a while. Found what I needed. Used the website to locate the product in the right store and sure enough it was there. That was awesome. People here were extra helpful.

Clean, well staffed and easy to navigate the store. Prices are comparable to big box stores around here without the parking hassle. Good selection of outdoor/yard supplies and pet food. Conveniently located next to a paint store. Small downside is online ordering for store pickup takes a few days before they are ready.

Great place to shop for your hardware needs and incidentals. Also, a convenient place to have copies of car keys made. Sign up for their rewards program definitely with it you get good discounts and coupons.

Came in on a Friday night. No one was helpful. Walked around the store for help. No one offered and when we asked for help. We got something like “I don’t something something”. This person was stocking the shelves. Came in to buy a snowblower. Walked out with nothing and they were right in front. Store employees need some kind of customer workshops and improve moral in this store.

They wont cut keys, I have to buy it from them at $120 to get it cut then pay additional $25 to program, what a scam.....

I went in to get a replacement refrigerator lightbulb. They were out of stock.

Great selection, slightly higher prices, but accessibility of knowledgeable staff makes it worthwhile for novices

Stopped in today during Shelter in Place - had to repair my toilet (essential!). Very helpful, knowledgeable associate was able to narrow down my choice of dozens of flaps (toilet tank ball) to the one that actually worked - one trip, problem solved. Thanks Mr Ace!

Truly helpful hardware men and women during this visit.

Would be five stars but they required a signature on a $3 purchase. The credit card companies dont require signatures on chip transactions anymore and making people touch their equipment is unwise today.

Today I brought in my screen door that needed to be repaired. Steve was extremely helpful and professional. He was able to fix the screen on the spot in less than 15 mins for a very reasonable price. The screen looks brand new and is now equipped with a more durable pet screen. Highly recommend!!

Very helpful guy in the back found the right replacement belt quickly and it fit in my lawnmower perfectly.

Staff is usually friendly, On this occasion I walked in and buzzers start going off! So, I said “ok, I should have left than! So, I said “ they are usually friendly! They have a new older gentleman who looks like he’s mad because he’s still working at the cash register probably the one who set off the bells and whistles! With that being said “I came in to rent a Rug Doctor and the gentleman was filling out the service information and another customer came in line, so he stopped taking care of me, also a customer and checked that person out, took him 13 minutes top! So, I was fine with that but than another person walked up and as if I was not a paying customer, standing there waiting, the cashier start taking care of that customer. So, I kindly said “I going to grab my ID which I did and walked out the store. So I guess at this location not everyone time is important and not everyone is an important customer! We are all human beings so please treat us as such!

I really like this Ace it’s generally not too busy and you get pretty decent coupons.

Extremely helpful associate in the key duplication department. Had another item on my list and he walked me to the aisle I needed rather than tell me to look. Ample parking, handicap access. Wide variety of home needs for all seasons. Carry the Green Egg grill and accessories.

Helpful staff, and friendly management. Bought a level that was mispriced from a sale a while back and they gave it to me at the posted price. Decent selection even if it isnt as big as the big box stores, will be back again and again Im sure.

Uncrowded, patient and helpful mature staff, my transaction was complete in 15 mts. There were hour long lines of memorial day shoppers at the big box stores, they saved 2$, I saved 2 hours!

How many people work here? No one ever is around and there were 6 people in line with one cashier. Your days are numbered unless you take care of the people that come into your store.

This is the best Ace Hardware in the area - it is huge compared to our neighborhood Ace. One of the biggest surprises is the enormous selection of pet food and supplies - especially for dogs. They have a great selection of Avanti greeting cards! The manager told us this Ace is just one of handful in the country with a full pet section. Other unusual things - a rack of Oakley clothing and gloves and a beautiful display of Yeti.

Nice new store with a great assortment of household items, tools, nuts and bolts, paint, cleaning products and more. They dont seem to have the same kind of helpful staff that I usually expect to find at Ace, though. No one offered to help me while I was there.

Most of staff has been friendly, I Originally gave them 5 star, today my husband and I spent $141.04, the cashier GREGG DORIBIALA was very rude, We have been coming to this location since it was opened spent a lot or money here, we have been part of the rewards program, we have used rewards, and we have received the military discount all along, Today we enter our phone number, my husband shows his military Id Gregg says oh you can’t use the rewards and get a military discount you have to pick one, I replied that’s the first time I have heard that one, he very rudely says you can’t double dip we would go out of business, first of all he need some proper training, on customer service etiquette and Math, common sense as well, The rewards program is company program rewards are based on your dollar amount spent, 10 points for every dollar spent you need 2500 points for a $5 reward, so if I am getting a discount that means each shopping trip to Ace I am getting fewer points than someone spending the same amount without getting a discount they will reach that 2500 points before I do, I am still spending the same amount to achieve that $5 reward as any one else it just takes longer for us to get there, That is far from double dipping, reward we earn with the money we spend,

Its a hardware store. Since its on Schaumburg some things are a little pricy. I grew up in Chicago and am used to neighborhood stores.
