I love the store and the employees are great, but most of all is the feeling of joy I get when I go there, nothing compares to the great smell of books. The place has a calming effect and relaxing to me. Would like to see some comfortable chairs.

Prices on some items is high. Nice place for gifts and books. Haha

Amazing unforgettable visit. Located in the heart of what I would call, The North East Side, of Holland MI. Within a 2 mile radius, there is more shopping stores & restaurants then one can visit in a weekend. Barnes & Noble has a first class selection for every person lucky enough to wander through their doors. From a first-hand experience of visiting this facility, I can say that all employees are masked and that for every minute the doors are open and there are people inside, they keep everything as sanitary as possible, Including their restrooms! Which one may encounter, if one decides to stop and relax at their worlds famous coffee shop for a cup of their extremely habit forming coffees or lattes.... In fact, this place is filled to the brim with every tasty treat one might ever want/could indulge themselves into while reading their favorite book or paper... Or for a quick quiet peaceful setting, for one to read one of their long time childhood favorites in. Just a quick little word of advice though,, try your hardest not to put all of your hopes & expects in for a quiet peaceful place to read, for the peace and quiet may not last too long due to all of the incredibly heartwarming wonderful & meaningful conversations one may find themselves engulfed in with friends or a fellow enthusiast creating bonds and memories that could last a lifetime, just like ones very most favorite book....

We bought some early reader books for my daughter since they have a large selection for her reading ability. The two women working at Starbucks today were really friendly even after I kept adding things to my order because I was struggling to find something that my daughter is able to eat (she has allergies and we normally get her something like a banana but they dont carry them).

Wonderful environment. Great literature selection, games, puzzles an much more. The Starbucks also a great reason to stop in for a treat while reading or shopping.

Barnes and Nobles has some amazing people, and the store is just beautiful, and afternoon for the kids, a drink and a read, and a toy section that is divine

This is a really nice Barnes & Noble. It is a single story but has a huge selection. Was happy to find a separate horror section rather than having Stephen King type novels just thrown in with fiction. This allowed me to easily browse and discover new authors to try. Very clean nice store.

Pretty much a self serve place. No one around to ask for help. Not much to choose from in the high dollar calligraphy section.

Tried to pick up two books as gifts. They had one of the two. Usually, they can get books from another store in a timely manor. Not this time. Otherwise, service was very good and customer service people were helpful.

As you enter a sign proudly displays how they are the #1 most reputable retailer. Could be. But then again maybe not.Try to return an un open book after 14 days with a receipt- hit the road.My manager wont let me take this back.First and last time I will shop a brick and mortar book store.

Went here as a relationship building exercise. We had certain things to look for. Which we had to read to each other. The staff was awesome, and helped us find the things we were looking for. For the last set of things. My wife had to us the restroom. So I brought the books to the info/help counter. They said it was no problem. And would put everything back. It was a perfect experience in customer care. I would say I would be back. But, I always go here when looking for a book. That being said. If they dont have it that day. They are more then happy to order it for you.

They have an awesome selection to choose from! Whether you like fiction, non-fiction, mysteries, or youre just looking for a book on exercising or just a cookbook. They have workers who friendly and will help you find what you looking for and will give great opinions on book choices! Definitely a great bookstore

Staff are very nice. The store is clean and organized. The prices are a little high, especially when you can find almost everything cheaper on Amazon, but the experience of book shopping is the best. Love coming here and getting a coffee.

Barnes and Noble in Holland is always a nice place to visit. It is quiet, clean, and well-organized, with a good selection of books and gifts. I sat in the Starbucks and had a cup of coffee while I read and had a pleasant afternoon.

If you see one Barnes and nobles you’ve seen them all. As far as layout is concern. But What gives them 4 stars from me. Is the excellent customer service they provide. And willingness to help their customers find whatever they are looking for. Always a pleasant experience anytime I go in.

Great selection for any age group. Books movies toys puzzles are always in great condition. Prices can be a pricy but there is always sales going on. I have been a member for more than 5 years and I will continue to be one.

This is an amazing store, they have books for everyone and books about anything and everything. They have an awesome childrens section too! My favorite thing is that they have on absolutely every single subject if they dont have it they will order it for you.

I love real book stores. Everything for the most part has gone to internet as far as books and magazines so it is nice to have a physical store to go to. You do inevitably pay more but that is fine. The store is always clean and the employees are very helpful.

Talented, attentive staff greet any customer (like myself) who looks a bit lost, and help them find what they are looking for. I hadnt been in this particular store in quite some time, and everything had been rearranged a bit. I wasnt able to find all the books I wanted but most were present and reasonably priced. Those I couldnt find the staff were able to order!

Such a walk back in time to 2001 really nostalgic, nearly historical. Great place to look for new books that you can order for less money on Amazon.

Great place to buy books. Barnes & Noble has a knowledgeable and friendly staff. In addition it has a small coffee shop at the Holland location that sells Starbucks products. Note it only sells there products it is not itself a Starbucks coffee shop so Starbucks gift cards are not excepted.

Magazine selection is poor

Little surprised as the selection available. Whenever Im in the area Ill visit this location again.

We love this barnes and noble. There is not one close to us so when we see family in holland we always make a stop here with the kids before we head home. Great selection of books and things the kids love to walk through. Staff is friendly and helpful but not intrusive.

Starbucks hot chocolate, a cookie and a magazine. What a great place to relax and unwind after a overnight drive in a 18 wheeler. Its refreshing to have Barnes & Nobles still around where you can crack open a book from a favorite author or subject, feel the pages, smell the printing ink and look at a book before purchasing it,when alot of people have turned to online shopping through Amazon.

Great place obviously if you want books .... but they also have some pretty cool gifts for kids and adults . Not to mention Starbucks 😉 my only qualm would be there’s no good seats to chill and read I used to love that about this place that’s my only reason for a 4 star .

I was going to three-star this store, but went to four. It is still, by majority, a book store. However, like many B&N, the books are quickly losing ground to the mall kiosk fodder such as toys, gadgets, and ever-expanding coffee shops.This isnt a bad store, but it isnt great either. If youve been in any B&N in the last few years, this is exactly the same.
