I trusted their good ratings to mean their listings online were accurate. Won’t make that mistake again. Get them to send you better pictures before you drive a long way to buy a car. Also, check that they haven’t wiped any engine codes recently.They didn’t disclose any damage in the listing and the low quality pictures online meant I arrived to a vehicle in much worse condition than I expected. I didn’t post pictures of the minor nicks and scrapes because those are normal and not worth noting on a used car listing, but to have crunched metal bodywork, 3 busted turn signal housings (lower front corners and the one on the mirror), a loose panel, and a check engine code that was recently erased meant I wasted 5 hours, gas, and the cost to rent a trailer.I was told these things were normal for a used car, which is true. What isn’t normal is to hide the blemishes behind low res photos and erasing codes without mentioning them.

Very personable when you meet them. They dont act pushy or act like they have better things to do. However trying to communicate with them was driving me crazy. I always had to track them down after they stated they would call me back on said day. This happened several times trying to get things done on my car. They also state on the car that all major components where inspected. And are in good working conditions. Then why was my tire rod bad and my tires needing replacing?

Another Update: Whats the Lemon Law, 30 days? I already have about $800 worth of work, that has to go into this truck, including the steering column, and front brakes. I lowered my rating to a 1 now, instead of the 3. Someone said I could do half a rating, but I tried, and it doesnt go to half. Motormax of Holland still hasnt called me back, to fix the sunroof like they said they would, and put it in their paperwork, that I had signed. That was the agreement if I bought the truck. So, very dishonest people. All they care about is selling as many vehicles as they can, and making all that money that they can. They dont seem to care about people, and being honest.Update: I had to change the rating from 5 stars to I guess, about 3. The agreement, that I would purchase my truck through them, was that I would buy it if they fixed the sunroof. They agreed and put it into the paperwork that I signed, and it was listed. Well, I called them and left a message on their voicemail, and they still havent called me back, and its probably been a couple of weeks as of 8/17/21.The team here worked with me, and got me into a Chevy Avalanche, that Ive always wanted. Its a very busy place, but both Jordan and Todd were very nice and professional, and we were able to get the paperwork done the same night. Thank you guys. Youre amazing!

DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP. They are beyond shady. I bought a 2011 Nissan Titan from them in October for $14,600. I’ve driven the truck maybe 15 times since because it has been in and out of repair shops. The total cost of repairs is now close to $15,000, which is more than I even bought the truck for. I brought this issue to the dealership and they just blew me off, ignored my phone calls, and just sent me a short email saying there is nothing they will do about this.When I bought the truck there was a check engine light on. I asked them to run diagnostics on what was causing that and they said it was a muffler. They fixed the muffler and the engine light stayed on, when I asked why they said it had a bad sensor. Come to find out a few months later the codes showing up for the engine light were actually for the transmission which is where the bulk of that $15,000 in repairs came from.Needless to say avoid this dealership at all cost. Highly unprofessional, shady, and rude.

Bought a 2016 Dodge Charger Rallye in 2019 and haven’t had one problem. Has been amazing experience to own this car alone. But the salesperson and manager were both perfect and got me in and out while caring about my price points and what I wanted. Way better than the dealer who tried to take more money from just because he could so I told him no and this car came on the market the same day. So we went and checked it out and the the other dealership called back saying he would do the original offer but these people were so nice and willing to help me as one so I went with them with the older Charger but it definitely worked in our favor on how good this thing has been to us. I spoke with the dealer for three days, set up an appointment and asked specifically to be contacted beforehand if the car I was interested in was sold. I made a 45 minute drive to find the car had been sold. I could live with that, despite it being a waste if a drive. But when I confronted the salesman, I was belittled and treated very poorly. I will not be back and I hope whoever is reading this comment will buy a vehicle from someone else too.

It was a tough process looking for a new vehicle but luckily for us Jordan and Brandon helped us a great deal and stayed patient during the whole process. In this case they paid off our preexisting loan so that we could start fresh on another vehicle. Mind you the amount left was more than the blue book value of our trade in.

I bought a vehicle about 1 month ago from Motormax of Holland. I visited several dealerships and honestly I probably could have bought a vehicle from anyone anywhere, but I just liked Frank. Something about him. He just didnt seem like a shyster. Frank was easy to work with. I had a few questions and he took the time to research them and get back to me. The process was super fast and I honestly did the paperwork and got a car in less time than it would take for me to order fast food and wait in the drive thru (depending on the fast food joint). We have another older vehicle and when it dies we will definitely be coming back. Frank and Brandon were great to work with. The experience was painless, quick, and pleasant.

I would absolutely never recommend motormax of holland to anyone. I had gone to test drive a vehicle that I was extremely interested in. I placed a deposit on it to hold it for 3 days to come back and drive it one more time and then purchase it. I was told the night before I was going to buy it that they were having issues with the bank, however, my credit was never ran by any banks.. so they hadnt even tried, and to hold off on coming the next day. The day I was supposed to go try to purchase the vehicle I couldnt get a hold of anyone. By the time I was contacted that evening, they had sold the vehicle from under me. It has now been 2 months with multiple calls and attempts to contact someone and I still have not gotten my money back for the deposit I placed on the vehicle that they sold to someone else

They told me I cant Have a Car because I didnt have any money for Down Then they told me I cant have the car because How much I owe on my Car and then they told me that the car that I was looking for it was $17,000 and they can pay for my car 8,000 that will make it 25000 and that any bank wasnt gonna give me that much. I didnt feel like the manager was very honest when it came to the car I was looking @ when I told him what I heard he just dismissed it and said he couldnt hear what I was hearing. The salesman there was a great guy and Honest the manager not so much. I wouldnt buy a car here personally however you make your own choice and decision.

My mother just recently got a suv from there had a oil leak that they said they would fix for her before she bought it which supposedly they fixed it so she bought it not even a month later she gets stranded on the side of the highway with barely any oil in it and when she calls them they were very rude and non-helpful told her it’s not there problem basically

Recently purchased a vehicle from them, they took care of the issues that stood out at the beginning, however after about a month and a half to 2 months in I hear a noise thinking it was the brakes I took it to a mechanic to find out that the front passenger strut was not bolted and the sway arm was missing making it unsafe to drive 3 days later I still have not heard from them as to what they plan to do to take care of it. At this point I would not reccomend them .

Great customer service, very patient and not pushy at all. Worked with us on trade value, worked with us on price and so far the vehicle has been great. We negotiated a few minor things like spare key, small chip repair in windshield and a few other things to make the vehicle completely what we wanted. Brandon followed up immediately and had everything all set for us. Brandon was very upfront on the origins of vehicle and where it was purchased and thoroughly went through the carfax. Only time will tell on how the vehicle holds up but as far as purchasing, it was very pleasant.

This place will do and say anything to sell you a car! I purchased a vehicle from them and couldnt even make it home due to over heating issues. Once my mechanic took a look he realized someone had dumped head gasket sealant in the radiator. The salesmen were extremely rude and in so many words told me this was my problem. What really set me off was they tried to sell me another one of their clunkers over the phone to replace the car they had just sold me. I wouldnt buy a wheelbarrow from this place!

I bought a 2006 Ford Fusion here. I had to buy the vehicle so I didn’t really have time to check it out very much other than what I saw online, and there was a broken interior handle. I messaged them about it though and they were very apologetic and made every accommodation to fix it at their own expense. Definitely the integrable thing to do.

I didnt know where to look for my first car and Ive been to so many places. These guys here were absolutely amazing! They helped me out so much and took their time with me. I felt no pressure to buy and when I did they went above and beyond for me! The prices was even more amazing. I mean they did just an amazing job. They offered to help with finding low cost insurance, got me new tires for my car and listened to any conserns I had. Not like other dealers who try to swindle you or just try to get you to buy right away. These guys were very honest and just great!

Bought my 2011 Ford Fusion SEL from here a couple weeks ago. Kenny was great and easy to work with, didnt shake my hand and take my fingers. Do not buy a car from here I bought a 2017 Dodge Journey 2 months after the engine blew out had to have it replaced and I had to pay now the axel is broken the struts have to be replaced and on top of that there has been no up keep of the car ever when I went to get my oil changed they showed me the car fax terrible people and will sell you a lemon and not even car once you pull out the lot they’ll tell you to call who you make your payment to

Do not go here unless you want a car that will need multiple mechanic visits. Just recently purchased a truck from motor max and right after signing and taking the car home we find out the heater isn’t working. We took the truck back 2 times the first day and 2 more times on separate days. The two other times we took it to a mechanic in Zeeland and the second time to Motor Max in Grand Rapids. They still could not fix the problem. When we call and ask for help on what we can do to fix the problem ; we got the run around from Gary our salesman. Today we called again and Brandon Frazer answered. Instead of helping us with the problem he instead belittled us and actually YELLED at us on the phone calling us a liar and saying that we were causing problems at the dealership. Then he proceeded to say we never once mentioned the issue. Mind you they have cameras that record when we were there and we even have text messages stating what the problems were and how they were never fixed each time we brought the car in. On top of that we have papers stating what was done each time we brought the truck into a mechanic. I find this motor max VERY unprofessional when it comes to handling PAYING customers and bad feed back. If you want a car with many issues this is the place for you.

If I could rate this a negative 5 i would. This is the worst dealership in all of West Michigan. Unbelievable experience that you only see on movies. Constant lying and manipulating. There cars are in very bad condition and they do not put the time or effort into fixing and or finding a solution for there customers. I baught a 2002 Dodge ram 1500 not even a month ago..... None the less my rear end detached and I ended up crashing the truck and totaling out my truck..... Come to find out the rear end was worked on and was freshly sprayed pained so you couldnt see the new weild marks and I almost went over a ditch that went down 105 feet but the guard rails saved my life. Dont believe me I have the police report, pictures, and also the towing paper work and my insurance clam. All said I was lucky to be alive.
