I have been trading at Graafschap Hardware since 1956 when my mom and dad would carry me in as an infant to the old building across the street, when Mulders owned it. I always go here first, only go to big box stores if they dont have what I need, which is very rare. Locally owned businesses Rule. The store was established in 1860, I hope they continue for another 160 years. My Grandpa Ben Becksvoort, who lived to be 102, was born around 1885, and Im sure he was also a very loyal customer, being a local farmer. Keep up the great work guys.Ken Slager

This used to be my go-to place. Not anymore. Over the last couple of years they have turned friendly into decidedly condescending. My last trip in there [and I do mean last] I went in for under-sink plumbing leak supplies. I was told “anybody can do that, all you need is the right parts.” Duh, that’s why I’m here. Followed by “you should call a plumber.” Why? “Because you don’t understand it.” My prior trip there for hardware supplies was greeted by indifference and irritation by the bearded guy to whom I had to repeat 3 times what I wanted because indifferent people don’t listen. Ladies, take your $$$ elsewhere, such as Ace on Lincoln where they treat you with respect. Of the 52 reviews prior to this one, 49 were from males: you get the idea. They retained 3 stars because of good ancient history.

I called them looking for a 22 magnum revelation magize and told them the model number. MJ looked it up and said they should have something that should work. I got there and he found a magazine for it really quick he went out back and shot it a few time to be sure it worked. I got 2 magizes and 2 packs of bullets for $62 and just in time for my dads birthday tomorrow. I highly recommend this place it was 56 minutes away for me but worth the drive.

Cool little hardware store. Good gun selection as well, new and used. It doesnt have the selection of a large home improvement store likely Lowes or Menards. But it has better customer service and that ma n pa little store feel. Love this place.

Good hardware and gun store. Bought my first AR back in December here. They took the time and went through the disassembly process as well as going through the basic maintenance of the gun. Even threw in some basic cleaning tools for free. Friendly and helpful. Will definitely be buying more tools and firearms here in the future.

Super service! They worked with a local tool and die shop to custom build a part for my pistol that wasnt available from the manufacturer. Gun functions flawlessly, just awesome customer service. Highly recommended!!!
