Grilla Grills makes the best pellet grill. The meals I have prepared on this grill have been fabulous. I have had mine for several years and couldnt be happier. Their team has done a top notch job every time I have interacted with them. If you ever get to Holland, Michigan, you should stop in at their retail store. Its a great place to check out all of their products in person.

Update: Jeremy C. assisted me in originally getting a replacement, but I checked if they could send replacement parts and sure enough they could.Ordered the Chimp Portable Pellet Grill and it arrived pretty banged up. Ive contacted Grilla Grills to see how they can make this right.

I made the decision and came back a few days later to pick up a chimp! I am no Pitmaster, but my first two cooks turned out great! One in chicken, and one in ribs, both Grilla Grills recipes. Appreciate the help and love the grill and results!

The store was great friendly staff i was greeted upon entering the store. I already knew what I wanted and the staff was quick to answer if they had it. My overall experience was fantastic because the staff answered any questions and helped me with what I needed.

Phenomenal customer service. Staff is very knowledgeable about the products they are selling. They were able to answer many questions with ease. They were not pushy at all and very helpful to a first-time smoker buyer. Products were all in stock and even helped load grill in the back of the vehicle. Picked up a Silverbac AT last Thursday and it’s beautiful. Decent cooking space and terrain capabilities are the reasons we went with this model as it will be on the move from the barn to the house and so on.Some things I noticed after assembly slightly disappointed me, especially with the $1100 price tag. There is a section of missing coating on the back of the barrel and at first I thought it was a piece of tape. Next is the poor adhesion on the alpha connect touch screen as it is peeling away in two spots. I also experienced the provided temp probe was 20° higher than both of my two handheld probes.I had to create a dedicated 2.4Ghz network at my house to use whenever I want to see what is going on with the grill. I hope a 5Ghz connectivity is in the works as manually switching networks can be an inconvenience.Customer service is great both in store and on the phone. I was able to call in the day after purchase to point out a typo in the Alpha Connect guide and they seemed grateful to have that information.All in all this grill cooks great so far. I cooked two whole chickens last weekend in 90°+ temps with the grill in direct sunlight. I turned the auger speed down to 2% and set the temp 15° cooler than needed and they came out great.To sum it up: Buy one? Yes. Support your local small businesses and everyone wins.

This place is amazing! I have owned a Silverbac for just over a year now and love it. Before I went to pellet I was a charcoal guy, and still love it. So I figured the only way to have the best of both worlds is to get a Kong. So I went to the only place I will ever buy a grill from, took my buddy, and set out to buy the Kong. Ended up leaving with it, and he bought a Silverbac. The service we received, as usual, was impeccable. The quality of the grills, even better. If you are looking for any type of grill, pellet, Komodo, or gas this is the only place to go.

Drove 2.5 hours one way to visit the showroom because I wanted to touch and see the product first hand. Such a nice, clean, well displayed showroom. I arrived at 12:15 worried I was to late because they close at 1:00pm on Saturdays. No worries, nobody rushed me with all my questions or my touchy feely process on seeing the the 3 grills I had my eyes on. At around 1:25pm I finished up and decided to bring home the Silverbac. Everyone was very friendly and helpful with no hold backs, I was able to see and touch everything I needed. Highly recommended, not only the product, but the people as well.... Thank you

Don’t bother spending money on any other grill. None compare to the quality you will get and years of worry free enjoyment when purchasing from Grilla! My neighbor has owned one for several years and uses it EVERY day. Solid performance - reliable - and doesn’t show the wear like competitor brands. I visited the Holland store and they made everything a breeze.

Although their website is informative and easy to navigate, I live close to their showroom and decided to stop by and get some face to face advice. I was welcomed immediately and the gentleman that worked with me to help me decide was knowledgeable and helpful but not pushy. The guy who helped load up my grill was also friendly and it seemed like everyone there enjoys what they do and believes in their products. I am extremely excited to use the grill this weekend and beyond.

After much research I finally decided on the Chimp so we could take it camping with us. The showroom is great and the staff answered all the questions we had. Assembly was very easy as well as getting it all hooked up to wifi etc. What a great feature! I threw some wings on for a test run tonight and I am hooked! We will probably stop in again in a few weeks when we are back in the area on vacation!

Very knowledgeable friendly staff and willing to find the best grill to fit your needs. The show room is great, gives you a good sense of size and functionality that pictures just dont show justice. If you are considering buying a Grilla and live in the Holland area, I would highly recommend visiting the location before ordering online. I was met with very helpful sales staff during all of my visits. There is a nice selection of scratch and dents that are fully certified by Grilla and warranted. I got a great deal on a silverbac and I love it. The sales guy I was working with (forgot his name) even helped me load the smoker into the truck and told me the best way to tie it down.

If you are looking for a grill or a smoker you MUST stop by the Grilla Grills show room in Holland Michigan before buying any other brand.They are low pressure sales staff that is very knowledgeable of their products and of other brands.I choose to assemble my smoker myself and they assured me it was straight forward and it was. The directions were clear, parts bags were clearly marked and it took me about an hour.The packaging was unreal. There is no way for damage goods, I was really impressed with the total package.I already told my wife that when my gas grill goes I am replacing it with their Primate gas grill.Thank you all.

Great helpful staff with a good knowledge on smoking and grilling. I got a Chimp and a bag of their competition blend pellets to smoke my first brisket. 225 degrees on their pro mode had a very nice smoke ring, built in probe was spot on. 15/10 would recommend. In fact I may have sold 3 more chimps via referrals!10/15/21 Edit: great smoker, fits a full 14lb brisket with room to spare only issues I have really been having are with the probes, seem to be cheap and burn out quickly... will be on number 4.

I purchased the Chimp with the intent of cooking great food while camping. After using it at home, I have decided to sell my Weber use this regardless of whether I am home or camping. I have a family of five and it is plenty big enough to feed my family and more. Everything I have cooked on this has turned out very well form burgers to brisket. It folds up and rolls around nicely. It is very well built and I find the controls easy to use. The pause button is awesome when checking on your food. The staff is friendly and helpful. I have not needed support yet but I hear it is top notch.

Wow! We had a great experience purchasing our Grilla Chimp Grill. We were traveling in or 45 foot RV and called to see if we could stop by and see if the Chimp would fit in the basement of the RV. We pulled up in front of their store and Tony brought it out and it fit perfectly. Its a very solid grill and very easy to set up. It grills perfectly. I have already cooked ribs, steaks, shrimp and burgers. Everything tasted great. I cant wait to try a brisket.

Dont believe the reviews on their site. They are limiting the reviews. I have had a pretty poor experience with all my products from them. I got my grill and followed burn in process, all the protective coating on the drip pan came off. I contacted them and was told its fine, if it gets worse let us know I mean brand new grill and its already wearing. After a few emails they did offer to send me a new part, which came in worse shape. I put a review on the grill which has never shown on the site.I ordered the front shelf for the grill, it came very bent and the mounting brackets would not fit. They offered to send me a new one, but I wanted a refund. They would but I have to send it back on my own money which would not be refunded. I put a review on their site for the shelf, again was never posted.This is deceptive business and while some people rave about their customer service, that has not been my experience.

Warning - Grilla deletes non-favorable reviews from their website!I purchased a Chimp. The first one came damaged, Grilla promptly sent a replacement (good service).The second one arrived with what appears to be manufacturing defects (lip that grate sits on was curved and higher in center, grate rocked, and lid wouldnt close since it was hitting the grate which was sitting too high). Took weeks to get any feedback on it, finally Grilla told me to bend the grate over my knee to fit the curve, and to stick a broom in the lid and bend it to try to get it to close?When dropping $1k on what is advertised as a premium grill, I dont expect to have to bend and jerry-rig things to deal with their poor quality control.

After a lot of positive feedback from friends who already own these grill my wife and I picked up a silverbac and a handful of accessories. Brought it to our cabin and assembled during my morning coffee. Went to turn it on and the auger didn’t turn. Checked the fuse as stated in the instructions and it was fine. After several frustrating hours I was able to contact a service rep in TX (bought and picked up in MI store). He was very helpful. Ended up being a single wire was blocking the auger fan causing it to not turn. So I spent a good 30 min trying to rearrange the wires and re-zip tie them back together. Although frustrating at the moment it was a understandable mistake during assembly. Since this we did 2 cooks and they both came out amazing. Moved from a propane grill and electric smoker to this and the difference is crazy.Loosing 1 star mostly due to the fact that our original store never called us back and are not aware the problem was fixed.

Very nice place clean and organized. Everything was well displayed and Matt was very knowledgeable about their products. I went up there Saturday to look and ended up walking out of there with a Silver Bac At used it Sunday worked nicely . The only issue I had with it was putting the wheel caps on during assembly other than that so far so good

Absolutely garbage. Does not hold temp, tried to replace the face plate AND board, no change. Probe doesn’t fit after change. Came with bent, non working parts that were ‘upgraded’. I’ve contacted customer support multiple times. Very friendly and helpful but overall, do not waste your money. I’m extremely dissatisfied. Get something more cost effective

Dont trust everything you see in their website. As like what Marc has mentioned in his feedback, everything they do is questionable. I ordered last may and received it June, weeks after their promised shipping date (a customer service rep promised Ill get it before Memorial day). The packaging was in tatters, the heavy product (which should be shipped through freight - honestly instead of regular ground, cutting cost maybe) got scratches and dents all over. You, grilla grills company, cant really blame the carrier for not caring about a 100 pound box while it is being shipped.I found issues everywhere. The only time they got things right was when they took my payment. After that it was a mess of a time. Delayed shipment, unfulfilled promises, sub standard and damaged product, you name it they did it. I emailed their customer service, told them of my issues, showed them numerous photos and they said they will do right by me by sending free wood chips (20 dollar WOW) that I never got anyway. Plus they absolutely dont care about veterans (they also promised a veteran package that never came).If youre going to buy from these guys, just visit their store, inspect the grill, and make sure that that is the exact grill they will bring out to you when you check out. Unless you want a headache that will stay for months on end. Then go ahead and order from them online.

This was my second time going to the jungle to make a purchase. With their direct to consumer sales model this is basically the only place you can get your hands on their products to feel them out. I made an order for pickup and it was quick and easy. I went in, gave my order number, and in a few moments my order was ready to load up in the back of my vehicle through their garage door for easy loading. And you get a few free items when you pick up. Grilla Grills has great grills and great customer service. I highly recommend a visit.

We are lucky enough to have Grilla Grills locally so we made a trip out there last Saturday to pick up the Grilla. If you’ve never seen it, it’s absolutely adorable with the little Grilla cutout that allows you to see the flame inside (yes I’m a dork, I can’t help it!!). The staff was extremely friendly & helpful but not pushy at all. We knew what we wanted before we walked in but they were still helpful with explaining the smoker, different accessories, etc. It was pretty much put together out of the box so assembly was a breeze. There are a ton of videos to walk you through set up, seasoning, wi fi, recipes… & the list goes on! We seasoned the Grilla tonight & I can’t wait to smoke our first meal on it this weekend!!

I liked it more bc its not a big show room that overwhelms you but big enough to have everything you will want and need to set up your grill. I seasoned the grill and the next day I did some New York strips. I also did some asparagus rapped in bacon at the same time. I watched some YouTube videos and that was helpful. The rub is awesome! Stopped by the Holland, Michigan location today to pick up a new Chimp Pellet Grill. Mark met me at the door and walked me around the showroom explaining what I needed to know about the grill (that I hadnt already learned from their great FB site).Picked up a cover and a bag of Competition Blend Pellets, at Marks suggestion, and headed home to unbox the Chimp. Couldnt have been much simpler to assemble. A half hour later I was loading up the hopper and seasoning the grill.What a great local business to support. Worth the trip. Was told about these grills from a local so I decided to drive up. All their grills are on display. Knowledgeable staff to assist in selecting the right options. I had my truck and was able to take it home immediately. Well constructed. I got the Grilla and it is fully assembled. We used it immediately and worked great. If you are in the market for a well built grill, Grilla Grills is an option you need to consider!

Had to change my review after some time of use. I have the grilla grill, its a great smoker. But its a poor grill takes forever to get to 400+ degrees and its in my garage. If you want to cook steaks it just to slow to heat. For a hot enough temperature for steak. The Grill has been on for over an hour and is at only 365😪 kind of expected more out of a 850$ grill. I have not open the grill door. The grill has actually decreased in temperature it is around 355 and will not get hotter. Out side temp is 40 it is warmer in my garage. I would not recommend this grill.

Stopped at the Holland MI location they where very helpful and got me set up with everything I wanted. Assembly at home was easy. Start up and WiFi connection was easy. First impression on the grill it is awesome. First smoke on it was great, very happy with my purchase.

I recently purchased the Grilla Grills Primate and also converted it to run on NG with a kit they sell. It is an all stainless grill, down to the fasteners. The quality of this Grill is outstanding. The fit and finish are flawless and everything is a heavy gauged stainless. This is a unique grill in that it can serve as a Grill/BBQ as well as a Griddle. It includes a HUGE high quality cast iron griddle that can swapped with the grates.I added my GrillGrate.com custom grates from my last Grill as well as the Griddle Grate I had with it to give that a test. Before I used them as a custom fit, but they can be added to the top of your current grates. Here am cooking my first Burger and it was outstanding.Great job to the team at Grilla Grills!
