I came in with a long list of items I needed, half of which I couldnt even pronounce. The staff there helped me find every item, and even explained what some of them were used for! Ill be going back.

Decent selection of health food products. No fresh produce. On the high end of the profit margin. The people who work there seem indifferent and dont seem excited to help you find products.

Whoever worked as the cashier at Apple Valley Natural Foods HOLLAND, MI around 2 pm on Friday 10/11/19 needs to be fired or trained in basic retail customer service skills. There was no greeting when I walked in the store, I was never asked if I needed help, and when I arrived at the counter with my items she continued reading her magazine as I stood there for 30 seconds until she finally slowly walked away from her magazine to ring up my items. She was not pleasant at all, and I told everyone at my office about it so I’m sure they’ll never shop there, and their friends and family most likely won’t either. People expect a positive energy when walking into a health and wellness store. She didn’t even have a smile. She had the disposition of someone who works at a gas station. Maybe she needs to work in a factory where she doesn’t have to interact with other people. Or maybe work as a cat sitter so she can read her magazine without any customers bothering her because they want to make a purchase at the store she’s supposed to be servicing.

I love this place. So many interesting products, great prices, and I no longer need to go to the supermarket!Seriously, I dread going to the overcrowded, overvalued, big box stores. This place takes the stress out of grocery shopping for me.A great place for vegetarian/vegan/raw foods too!

This is my first choice stop for getting all the supplements that I need, along with vegan and dairy-free foods. They have wonderful customer service and I always enjoy my shopping experiences there.

Not from the area, Very Very impressed with Apple Valley. The store was clean, organized, and almost every employee I ran into asked if I needed help finding anything. My favorite thing was their organic yogurt. Try Brown Cow, or Wallaby. Those are two of the best Ive found so far.

I love that they carry the vegetarian foods we like. Anyobe lookibg for a decent selection of vegetarian options, I definitely recommend Apple Valley. For those who dont understand why they close so early on Friday and are not open on Saturday, it is because they are closed during the Sabbath hours.
