I absolutely loved working for this company as a Supply Chain Planner until the Materials Manager was hired. He was obviously new at Management and failed miserably daily in his consistency with communication throughout all departments, which ultimately militated the flow of departments and resulted in many frustrated employees and other management. His egotistical view and toady behavior was not only unsupportive, but detrimental and demotivated several of his employees, who in result, left because of his inability to kindle and build a network of trust and respect. Several employees (including myself) went to HR to try and get help in parring down his behavior, but in the end the unequivocal answer was to pursue another career.
