The Muffler Man has fantasic service. Darrel did a great job on my car. He was able to fix it within a couple hours and didnt overcharge me. They are very knowledgeable with their work and have fair prices. Previously I tried going to Midas by the railroad track and they totally ripped me off. Midas tried charging me 210 per hour. Dont go to Midas. I highly recommend going to The Muffler Man for great service at fair prices. They also have a sweet dog.

First experience pretty cool, went back twice and they dont even follow their own schedule. Open whenever the owner decides to get out of bed. Wont waste my time again

Took my 65 Mustang in to install Flowmasters I had used on a previous car and had cut off. They were a little long for application but Darrell made them fit perfect Everything was straight and level. He also made exhaust pipes that turned down at the perfect location. He takes pride in his work and it shows. I had originally decided to go here because his shop is clean and he has drive-on lifts which is a necessity when working on classic cars. As I waited for work to be done, I got a chance to talk to his mom, what a lovely lady. This is a local family run business that has been around for years started by his dad. I grew up in the area so I know.Great job, great price, nice people. Thanks Darrell...and mom!

After completing the repairs on my exhaust I was handed my keys and a brief explanation of the repair. Didn’t let me see it before or review it with him. So I walked out with my keys and discovered grease all over my floor mat and brand new carpet. Not happy.

Darrell went out of the way to help me with my car. His mother is the nicest women who you could meet. Took care of my problem and I love the sound of my exhaust.

Ripped me off. Had to take the shoddy work to others to finish. Needed to have my cats replaced and he burned out my o2 sensors trying to replace them and then used clips instead of welding the joint. Just lazy. Took over a week to do a 2 day job

This place does fantastic work and has been doing so for almost 50 years...Heres a picture of a job that was done down the street Ill bet much cheaper...But in the picture you can see how the job was done down the road and how it was done at Traviss shop... After it was repaired...it wont be long but at least Daytona still has a few customers that still care about quality and workmanship....

Dont waste your time, guy was a complete jerk from the start. Pretty much threw a hissy fit because he might have had to use 2 boards to get the car up the ramp onto a rack.

I brought my truck in and the guy talked me in to putting a glass pack muffler on after i told him that i wanted a flow master muffler. Now my truck sounds like a Honda. I call him him up a week later and he tells me he wouldnt ever do that, really? Not only am i finding out that i paid double the price, now i have to pay another muffler guy to do what i originally asked for thanks alot. Also the guy was high as a kite and when i went inside to pay there was a weed pipe and lighter sitting on the counter. I have nothing against smoking pot just do it on your own time not when you are working.

I am not a friend nor family member. Due to way too steep speed bumps put in where I live, my exhaust pipe broke off from my catalytic converter. I sounded pretty much like a Harley Davidson and knew I had to get it fixed or I would probably get a noise disturbance ticket. After searching around for an exhaust specialist I felt that the Muffler Man Shop would be the right shop to go. When you can make a phone call and talk to the Owner/ Worker tell him exactly what you need and he can make you a quote and stay in that range then that is the guy you need working on your car!! I recommend adding them to your call around list!!!

I didnt even get threw the first part witch is acquiring a quote when the dumbass on the phone drove me straight away from doing business with them, keep it up, GREAT customer service! If thats their customer service I can only imagine their quality of work on their CUSTOMERS vehicles!!

Prices to high....he told me like 550 to run 1 muffler that comes out 2.....went to Daytona convertor and got true duals with tips for 350

Not fair, just poor. I think all the previous reviews were written by family and friends. These guys prices are way over the top. Wanted $600 for a $200 job, definitely worth the drive to Orlando. All i can say is shop around. The nicest thing there is the great Dane. This guy walked away when I told him I wouldnt get the work done there, had to drive off the lift without guidance. Stay away people.

I had a 2002 gmc sierra needed a new cat installed, about 1 week after going here the welds came apart.Took it to the Muffler man in Deland, they said it was a horrible weld job and fixed the problem for me no charge.The muffler man in deland has great service and prices.The muffler man in Daytona is more expensive and low quality work

Sent a customer over from my shop,the father was a very good man,but now its a butcher shop,the son runs it!!!! The customer left there paying to much for a pipe welded backwards, so it could run hotter and ruffer, stupid🤡

Went here to get a exhaust system put on and the guy working there told me 250 to cut where I told him to and bend new pipe with flowmaster on. I agreed and he put it on but when I got home I looked and saw he did not cut where I told him and left part of factory exhaust on. I went back and he charged me another 100 to cut off that piece. Right after that my brand new truck started making a squeaking noise so I took it to the dealership and they told me it was the stock exhaust flap that he cut off and then welded in the middle of the new pipe. Not what I asked him to do. So I went back this morning and asked him to once again fix this and with a real bad attitude he said he wanted another 50 bucks. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with . Please go somewhere else. This guy has no idea what he is doing and has a terrible attitude on top of that.

Looked this place up online and checked reviews. After making a phone call to them and talking to Paula I was very impressed with her customer service. Very nice and will not over charge you especially being a woman that made me feel better. Took my Van in and her son explained everything to me and was very knowledable. Saved me over $200 that another place wanted to over charge me. Loved the 2 dogs in the office and my son enjoyed playing with them. I will def. be back if needed and refer to my family and friends. Great local company been in business over 30 years from father to son. Def. have my VOTE!!! Thx again Tina Ackerman

This place is a rip off. Took my truck in and he tried to charge me for a $120 for a $60-$80 job. He tried to convince me that because a connector was needed to reattach my muffler, the job would cost double. When I told him I was going to shop around a bit more, he got extremely pissy and unprofessional with me getting an attitude, trying to manipulate me/scare me, and then spoke poorly and warned me of the other muffler shops in the area. I went up the road to Martys, and he was excellent. He was booked a month out in advance, but was very kind and helpful and was able to refer me over the Nellees back down the road. The staff there were SO nice; the man got the connector part, welded everything back together, got me in an out in 30mins, and charged me the appropriate $65. He did a great job and was extremely kind. I highly recommend Nellees and will return there for any future automotive needs I have. Dont even waste your time at the Muffler Man. All he wants is to sell his over-priced items and services and if you bring up that hes over charging or decide to leave, expect him to start trying to s&!% on you and use scare tactics.

Well, my muffler came loose, went to Midas, They wanted $600. Came to Muffler Man,& $100. fixed it. DONT GO TO MIDAS.

The man had an attitude, and poor work ethic .The man was half asleep at the front desk when i walked in he gave me an excuse as to why my car s muffler couldnt be repaired without even taking a look at my car . Waste of time and gas never again will i drive 20 minutes to be given an opinion from a man sitting down and looking out the window .
