I was so excited after my first meeting with Carrie- She was very polite and professional during our first meeting where we picked out the finishes for my custom home. I had no idea that would be the only meeting where I would be in a good place with her and the team. When it came time for delivery nothing arrived on time- which is understandable given the current landscape; however, there was no call or information to us that our lighting, flooring and cabinetry would be delayed. We found out via our builder who explained that if we did not have the lighting installed we would not pass inspection which would lead to more delays-after calling The Home Center- we were told that the lighting had arrived but there was no one to deliver the shipment. In an effort to help my husband drove from Wake Forest to Holly Sprigs at the direction of staff at the Home Center only to arrive and e told by Carrie there was no lighting as it hadnt arrived and asked why were we involved as it makes things worse. We explained we are only interested in our home and we were trying to be helpful- she further explained that they dont keep extra fans/lighting and that we could go and procure them at a facility that had stock. We did to ensure our build could move forward- only to find out later the fans and lights we never received were not removed from our cost sheets and at some point they were delivered although she was the person at the center who knew they should have been cancelled as they did not make it to our home. When I tried to get help she explained to me to talk with my builder. If that wasnt enough our order was not placed correctly- details of what I asked were not done and generally there was no paperwork to confirm. If you go with this company which I would strongly caution against - make sure each detail is spelled out from how far your tiling should go to the number of each item on your list. I have closed weeks ago and there are still missing items, and tile I hope someone will help me to resolve. I am amazed at the lack of detail, concern or care. I wish someone would have warned me.

We are building a new house and The Home Center supplied our lighting. I worked with Carrie, who was extremely helpful in making our selections. Things did not work out with our builder, yet Home Center serviced the account with utmost professionalism. We ordered a LED mirror that was broken during the building process and Home Center provided a replacement. THANK YOU FOR YOUR EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

They are busy so took a while for them to get to me. Had vinyl installed in kitchen. Looks amazing!! The crew does flawless work. Could not be happier. Highly recommended.

My builder used them for my site finished hardwood floors. The finish had a lot of dirt or grit, which they said was acceptable to them, although the model home didnt have it. I had to spend approx. 2K to have them buffed and recoated. The result was the way they should have been finished in the first place. So much for customer service....

Sent few emails for assist with flooring under warranty, no reply and no follow up, lack of communications and not professional at all. I guess they do not care about their customers after sales. Do not recommend doing business with them, youre going to waste your time and money.

Rebecca and the installers from The Home Center did a great job getting our carpet delivered and installed at a fair price. We built our house two years ago and just finished off our bonus room. We wanted to match our existing carpet and The Home Center did that perfectly. Very easy folks with whom to work and pleasant. Highly recommend.

JD is very response, price was good, but Carrie is a waste of breath. I agree with previous review that no prices are listed in-store and its aggravating to have to have someone look them up for you. Makes it very difficult to make quick decisions.

The installation was terrible. Uncleaned mess, furniture was not covered, huge scratch in my couch. The mess was unbelievably bad, it took us hours to clean. When I ask the company what they were going to do, the answer was nothing. This is the first bad review I have ever given, I am a reasonable person. There are a lot of companies that offer flooring, I am sure most of them are better. Stay away.

Over a week and counting to get a response to a quote for a small replacement job and install. Still waiting on cost for just an order. What a joke. Apparently if you aren’t putting in an expensive brand new floor they don’t care or their customer service is that poor.Waste your time at your own risk.

Patient, but lowering to 3 stars, because they take forever to respond to you after the initial meeting. Nothing has a price. Everything must be looked up. Decisions take way too long and are harder to make with information so slowly forthcoming.

They will complete the job in a timely manner. However, their prices are outrageous compared to other tile, flooring, and carpet companies……even for the basic spec house low end materials!!!!

Called and asked about Ditra. After waiting on hold for sales, the person has no idea about anything. Asked if I had an item number or SKU. The person stated the manager knew more, but wasnt there and was asked to be transferred to his voicemail. The person couldnt look up anything unless I had their internal item number and had no idea whats Ditra, despite it being a common premium product. Quite odd their sales person didnt know what they sell, nor understands what is needed for tiling flooring.
