This is a good youfit, better then most in Dade county. They have multiple benches both include and flat. They have similar numbers of cardio machines like most youfits. The cable machines had all the clips needed for use. The place has the citrulline non stim rtd that I also like. There is sufficient space to workout. Theres machines for everyones use during non peak times. I do recommend
I signed up at the one at 3120 Oakwood blvd, Hollywood FL.The lack of professionalism was amazing. I didnt know a free session came with sign up. The manager called me to inform me about it and said Id get a free session with him at my earliest convenience. We scheduled one. I show up, he is not in the building. The front desk apologizes and reschedules me with him. Again no call, no show. I go via the same thing. The third time, i even forgot i had an appointment the next day had he not called to confirm the date and time. I thought, 3rd time is a charm since this time he even called to confirm. Good thing I didnt hold my breath. No call no show. The front desk again apologizes and offers to schedule me with someone else. I said sure. I finally got the session and it was quite informative.If i was going via this lack of professionalism with an employee, i could ask to talk to a manager to point this out. When it is the manager himself treating you this way, where do you go? If the manager acts that way, one cant blame the employees for their actions.The clerk apologized a few times (out of embarrassment for her boss) but I got no apologies from the manager, no call to let me know, he cant make it and offer to reschedule either with him or someone else, I got not incentive to make up for what happened ( didnt bother me as I was not waiting for it ). I arrange my schedule to honor my appointment, but no call, no show 3 times and I didnt even hear from him. The time I had to reschedule, I made sure to call ahead because I know how everyones time is valuable and needs to be respected. I shared my experience with colleagues and they were less than happy and were encouraging me to call corporate or ask fro free session and what not.I was not looking for a free session ( or opportunity to request more), heck i didnt even know it was offered. My plan was to find a gym closer to home whose schedule would fit my work schedule and I found one. It is serving its purpose, I am grateful for it so Ill keep going there. I travel a lot and have had a few membership at different gyms. I have never had such an experience. I was just amazed at how a manager cared for his members at this one. Good thing the rest of the staff is not as professional as their manager.
Murielle is the nicest front desk gym person ever. I was having a very bad day when I first read joined again. She spoke so nicely to me like I knew her for so many years. There should be more workers at a gym just like her
I would give zero stars if I could. Bunch of crooks. Choose any other gym or just buy your own equipment.I went in to cancel my membership and they charged me 70.00 to do so because policy ...OK, there are covid variants raging right now but your policy doesnt care about that. The worker was fine this isnt anything on her she was doing her job.Terrible company.
I purchased a very basic membership, which I just used 2 times while in town. The employee who took my info down was aware of this, as I didnt want to overpay for TWO days at the gym and I told him I was only going to come for maybe a week at most and it was agreed upon. Whoever took down my information was most likely new and failed to tell me that I would be charged a ~$57 yearly membership charge. I tried to cancel multiple times but due to a family emergency, I was not able to come in physically. They wanted me to come in physically to cancel it. A couple of weeks later, they took over $100 out of my account that I needed to feed my kids and pay my bills... but they would not refund me my money. Disgusting business principles... I would avoid this gym at all costs, they seem to leave out important information and then charge you for something you dont know about and then are rude to you over the phone and thats despicable.
The Oakwood location does not open on time. The gym is supposed to open at 5am. It is now after 5:40am (Ive been here since 5:02am) and the doors are still locked while a couple of dozen people wait outside. Some have left to go to the other location five minutes away. This lack of timeliness is an inconvenience for anyone who is on a tight schedule and needs to get in the gym before going to work. Unless there was an emergency involving the team member who was scheduled to work during this time, there is no excuse for such unprofessional behavior.
The staff here is a big part of what makes this place so solid. They always greet and say goodbye to you with a big smile. Puts ya in a great mood pre and post workout.

I was disappointed they charged me for 3 months when they were closed for covid-19 and I did not get reimbursed for that. Then I canceled one day after they charged me for a full month that I will not get to use and an additional $10 cancellation fee.I think many of them or more concerned about their workout needs and being an employee with Benefits than customer relations with paying customers to work out there. Im going to the YMCA it appears to be better overall with service and amenities.
I have been in a few youfit locations but I want to go back again after the pandemic so I called Oakwood youfit and Bill answer the phone, the best thing that can happen to me. He makes me decide to go back and was so nice and agreeable that makes my day awesome. Thanks Bill!
People at check in are always nice. The spinning classes for me are the reason I go. The gym itself is awesome.

Great gym! Can’t beat the price, very clean and organized, there is basically everything u need for ur workout, basic but just the right basic. Plenty of parking, i like the location, i drive from sunny isles specially for this gym. All personal are responsible and polite. Great gym overall!

The trainer Anabel Ruiz has no professional ethics, she does not keep the time of your appointment, then I tried to change my time for my work schedule and she insulted me on the phone. she was rude. She sent me a general training when I needed an specific one . She also talks badly about all her conflicts and her fights with other customer and she does not focus on the workout.

They COMPLETELY LIE AND DECIEVE PEOPLE ABOUT THEIR FEES, I WAS LIED TO AND STOLEN BY KARIMA AND MARIEL. MARIEL IS ABUSIVE, SHE mentioned MY MOTHER, CURSED, threatened me personally, WAS ABSOLUTELY the most unprofessional employee i have ever dealt with as I tried to get back a 53.00$ fee I was lied to about when signing up. They signed me up using an ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE so you cant see thr screen and then claim you knew about it.I will be escalating this to corporate and to small claims court if not fixed. I will be filing a police report as well.

Its been a nice place to train here until today when the janitor started screaming at me and some other members to wear our masks properly instead of doing his job that he is paid for. I dont pay my membership to be yelled at while doing my training. Others than this incident, I have only nice words to say about the place and the rest of the staff.

I bought a full year membership for my fiance xmas 2019. He never step foot in the building due to Covid-19. Now....xmas 2020 I get a bill for $202.23. When I called to ask what this bill is about they said I have to pay a 25$ cancel fee. I refuse. I have nothing to cancel. We did not sign up for ongoing service....thats why they couldnt auto bill me. The girl went on to be quite rude. So I paid almost $400 for a service we couldnt use and am now dealing with rude employees and unjustified bills.
The gym is never over crowded and everyone is respectful in wearing their masks even on cardio equipment which makes me feel safer. I am able to use the equipment I need to without a wait and the staff that works there is always so nice and welcoming.

I asked to cancel my membership after I moved out of state. They refused, stating I would need to go to the post office during COVID-19 to send a letter of cancellation. They also required the hassle of a money order of at least $10, despite them having my bank information readily available. In the end they charged me for 4 additional months after I had completely moved out of state, on top of an annual fee.After having jumped through all these hurdles thinking my membership had been finally cancelled, 4 months later, I received another charge of $47.06 from YOUFIT. I was forced to spend more of my time on the phone with them, only to find out that they never actually cancelled my membership, instead only put it on freeze, and that I would need to send proof of my cancellation letter certified mail receipt in order to obtain a refund.Then they told me I would have to wait 30-60 days to get my refund, so I was forced to dispute the transaction through my bank.

Very like, most because of awesome people that work there.Right after reopening, exercise machines were placed on recommended distrace. Management was very friendly and welcoming. There were some billing and charge issues on my accounts and GM Sean was upmost helpful in fixing these billing issues. His constant presence at gym and front desk had huge impact in ensuring that reopening happened at best and safest way and members returned to the gym.Operations team lead by Elena did and still do great job. Machines, equipment, flooring, bathroom are constantly cleaned and sanitized and are immaculate condition.Before closing due to the pandemic my personal training were held at Youfit at other location. After reopening my training needed to be transferred to Oakwood location that is closer to my home. Director of Fitness Felipe Paredes made that transition very smooth. He understood that long pause and switch of trainers affecting clients on very bad way and actually started to train me. What make him different from other trainers is really honest passion for helping people to achieve their Fitness goals. He is not one of yes men trainers that say yes on all exercise that clients want to do. Due to lack of Fitness knowledge many clients do not know which exercises are best for their specific fitness condition, Felipe is willing to suggest different, better approach in achieving the goals on more efficient way. His tranings are balanced mix of wide variety of usage of machines, other equipment and body exercises . That way every training is different and interesting. He poses great skills to balance among :*his obligations toward company as Director,*sale obligations showing interes in Fitness needs of clients, offering advices, and actually showing of what and how should be done, increasing that way number of members signing up for personal training,*providing training to clients according to specific fitness needs of each client*forming, training, motivating and overseeing his new team of personnel trainers .Taking in consideration all above, it can be concluded that Felipe is one on most valuable assets of Youfit company
It was great for the 5 days I went. I just lost 50 pounds out of nowhere in 2 months without going to the gym so I just canceled it. But great staff, environment. They do tax you heavy on the drinks. Like 4 dollars for a 32 oz of Gatorade so be sure to take your drinks.
Signed up last week, when I went to workout people were not with mask and today all staff were enforcing the masks, I didnt agree wearing a mask while working out and decided to cancel membership and now Im forced to pay an extra $10 dollars for cancellation when I didnt even spent a whole month as a member. What a way to take your money, wasnt enough $27.65 dollars for a one week of service?
YouFit is charging members for June and July even if their accounts were frozen from back in April due to Covid-19. Tom the manager was as helpful and understanding as can be. Hopefully he follows thru.I personally went into youFit in August to unfreeze my account and start the gym back up. Crazy how they are trying to take advantage of a pandemic situation. No Refund after several attempts.Have spoken to several people. Still no refund.

I was involved in an Auto accident that left me bed ridden for over a year. I called youfit 1 week after my accident and they said they cannot cancel my membership unless I come in person. I couldn’t go to the bathroom yet alone haul my broken self to the gym to cancel my membership. It took months to finally stop the charges. If you wanna get charged every month no matter the circumstances go with this joke of a gym.
Poor customer service. I was told my membership would be on hold and I would receive a call when the gym opens to see what I want to do with the 2 months I got billed during the pandemic and my membership Never received said call. Charging me all of a sudden resumed and they refuse to refund or cancel gym memberships over the phone, during a pandemic, and want you to come in. Management does not return calls.

Im harrested in every single day from Call Center department regarding a debt of $21 or so, where Im going at the gym in Hollywood in every single morning and Im able to work out and nobody at the front desk is telling me I have to pay something!! !! How is possible the call center operator to hangout the phone just because youre asking for some explanation regarding your auto payment!! Worst customer service ever!!
Just became a member and love the gym so far. But the maintenance guy approached me very rudely about me bringing a gym bag into the gym, which I wasn’t aware of. I understand the policy and agree with it, there are better ways to approach a customer.

Great place to workout but as any other gym, you get best use of equipment when you avoid rush hours. This club is smaller compared to newer locations, but for the most part still has everything you need. It does have only one squat rack so that can get hectic if you want to Squat or do Barbell rows and you dont want to use a Smith machine. But equipment aside, the staff is friendly, the club stays very clean, and so far the clientele is great. Never had any issues with any other members, nor does it look like anyone would. I love going here. My other go to location is in North Lauderdale, which is also great. Would Def recommend it. For the flexibility of the lime membership, I think the extra $10 is worth the investment. Plus you get to bring in a guest every time you go. Cant beat that specially when you compare it to the other guys like LA Fitness or 24 hr fitness.

I go to multiple locations in a regular basis and this is a favorite. Its a smaller gym but usually not crowded early in the morning. The staff seem really chill and so do the other gym goers. Nice crowd, super comfy.
Horrible customer service the Oakwood location. The staff doesn’t know or enforce gym etiquette. They allow some people to use their gym bags/towels to reserve multiple machines at a time while other gym members are waiting to use the machine.To the owner: I did go to your staff for help with matter which did not have a good result followed by the operations manager not helping me as well. All I got was an attitude from each person and basically didn’t address the problem. I am currently looking to switch gyms as a result which upsets me because I’ve been a member at your club since it opened and have also gotten friends and family to join as well.
Terrible service. The managers cant do anything resolve payment issues and blame it all on corporate. Try to contact corporate and they tell you to discuss it with the managers. I have not been able to use the gym since February 2019 because of their messed up payments. They refuse to close my account and so they keep attempting to charge me every month claiming my balance is past due.EDIT: Another review also listed Joe as one of the terrible managers. Im backing that up. Joe is the same liar who told me I should not be charged after cancelling my personal trainer only for me to be charged 4 consecutive months after. He kept telling me he was trying to fix it with corporate. I had to put a stop payment on my bank account and did charge backs for all the months. Joe then left the facility as an employee without notifying me and left in the hands of another new manager, Avi who had no idea about my issues and also couldnt help fix it. But he too told me I shouldnt have been responsible for any further payments when I cancelled my personal trainer before the deadline.

I love my gym! The trainers are so nice. The one give me a spot just when I asked. The people are not annoying either, its not that pick up spot atmosphere that you got at LA fitness. All the machines are brand-new. Plenty of room can always find a bench. Nice stretching area.

Facilities are clean and welcoming and many cardio machines are often available, even during busy times. Still, there are a few things to consider before signing up. The weight section is small and often crowded. When you sign up, they offer you a free personal training session/health assessment. The trainer was pushy and it is evident that he was only interested in me buying the training package. Despite this, it is a great value considering the $10/month price and I would recommend for anyone who are just interested in using the machines.
For 23 bucks a month you really shouldn’t be able to complain about a gym membership but this particular youfit is incredible and supersedes what I would expect $23 would get you now a days. Pleasant staff and an always clean environment makes this particular Hollywood youfit one of my favorite to visit when I’m in the area!
I find it strange that the female employees not only clean the mens locker room but they also fix the toilet issues. I find it hard to believe that men would do the same in the womens locker room without warning women that there is a man in the room. When I shower here I come out with at least a towel around me but there are men that come out fully nude. I would suggest that the HR department either install a sign stating that female employees are welcomed in the locker room and that we should not be fully nude out of the shower, or place a sign in front of the locker room that women are working.

Recently became a member here and although its a small gym, Its still very up to date with the equipment. They have lockers and showers. But only two showers, so you will find yourself waiting to use them. But all in all its a very nice and clean gym.

The chain is ok but this particular location has a very low ceiling, giving a claustrophobic kind of feeling. This is the former Golds Gym location, quite run-down.
Great place and atmosphere to work out, I wish if music could be more global and not only the heavy metal one, to me is not proper to start a day with a Fender Stratocaster, better if the music is pleasant to our ears, 80s classic rock, for example.

The price is right. Be aware of personal training contract. They can get you to pay longer than you expect. Dont sign without reading and asking all the questions. They wont tell you. If I had intention of using it again, it is all gone. Membership only is fine.The staff is great in general.

Ive been going for a few months. The staff is nice a few recognize me and always say hi. Its very clean and there is someone always wiping down the machines. The price is good. Im not sure why anyone would not like goung here.
I have been going to this gym for a long time. I pretty much only keep the membership because its cheap and I can go to any location, which is what Ive started doing. My home gym is the Oakwood Plaza location but Ive started going to Davie. My home gym is ALWAYS crowded. No matter what time I go its crowded. The weight area is almost impossible to get to. I wish that they would expand the weight area a bit to the back corner and add some mirrors so that maybe it would give the girls a place to workout since he weight area is always dominated by men. I really dont recommend this gym. Sorry.

No hot water, showers are always cold. When brought to managements attention (several times) they give scripted excuses as to why the water is COLD. Always crowded, weights are never racked, you always have to look for them. Limited machines available (no dips machine), dirty, they barely clean the place.This location is closest to my house, but I plan to cancel my membership, because I always have to drive to a different Youfit location in order to workout. Im tolerant to a lot of things, but lack of hot water is non-negotiable. COLD WATER, DIRTY GYM, LACK OF EQUIPMENT, SMALL & ALWAYS CROWDED.UPDATE: I happily CANCELLED my membership at this gym! Got tired of begging them to fix hot water and broken machines. At least the cancellation process was hassle free. Lol
Great staff. However they took more than a month to repair a damage universal machine. Length of time may be incorrect but it was a long time.
My experience with Youfit is very sad. The communication is very terrible. Although I did sign the contract they didn’t explain the cancellation fee after it. So I was charged $160 and wouldn’t issued a refund for a mistake they didn’t explain. The manager Joe lied to my face about it stating if there was any other transactions to let him know and he will issue me a refund for I didn’t owe anything. They didn’t issue my refund of $160 and now I’m no longer affiliate with Youfit and their constant lies. Don’t get me wrong there are nice people there but money wise they are savages. They already get free money from me even when I don’t go to the gym everyday or every money let alone have a trainer that I used to pay and then they asked me to cancel my gym memebership I have to pay $10. At this point of behavior I do not trust any other gyms because of them because now I know gyms are scammers and liars. I will never go back to this gym ever again. Oh by the way cooperate doesn’t help me at all. I bet you if I was white they would have gave me back my money. Don’t trust you fit. Do not do lime cards and do not trainers. If you take this gym only give them $10 to go without any contract because that’s where they get you at. Liars. I hate them.
I don’t usually write reviews but I will for this particular reason. Worst employees. Ghetto unprofessional employees. Corporate literally needs to shut this gym down. It’s old, dirty, rude uneducated employees/management. I had my gym membership for 2 years and I come here everyday until yesterday transferring to the Youfit in Dania Pointe. When employees fight with customers it’s the duty of a manager to step in a control the situation. But clearly management likes the entertainment of a customer and employee barking at each other and employee disrespecting me and they’re just literally watching it happen. I would’ve never took it this far until I was leaving he started to disrespect me again. I spoke to corporate and wrote an email about one particular employee named “Carlton” .Disgusting behavior and unprofessional.Youfit Dania Pointe so much better cleaner, with respectful staff/‘management.
Relatively nice gym but The music consistently stinks though they need to mix it up they are catering to only what the workers seem to like not work out music not everyone here listens to constant rap.

Sad to say. I just experienced the worst customer service. I dont want to play the race card but, this one is true. I ask for the managers superior number, they dont give it to me. Literally ten minutes later, an angry caucasian guy asks for a number of someone above the manager, she gives it to him. What is that all about? Poor guy, he was so frustrated he started turning red............ AnywayI ask the manager to stop additional charges to my credit card for my wifes personal trainer because she can no longer continue doing workouts for valid purposes. Yesterday they charged the card and she did not even go to a session with the personal trainer. So I didnt even argue that.All I asked is that they stop future bi-weekly payments. Its not like its next day. They said they couldnt because its policy. So that means, I will have two additional $80 charges I have to pay for.
Good gym it wasnt too full which I liked. All the weights or machines I needed were available and most importantly everything is clean.
