Such an amazing experience! The entire staff was friendly and so helpful. I had a conflict with my appointment and they were so kind in working with me and my schedule to get me in for an appointment quickly. They went above and beyond working out insurance stuff so I could get the best possible pricing. Honestly I can not recommend them enough. Consistently such a pleasant experience every time.

I was impressed with the new location of Goodrich optical. The state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment made me feel that I was getting the best overall survey of my eye injury. The staff is cordial, and they understand the importance of communicating with the patient before, during, and after an eye exam. The eye technician on site seems to have an empathetic gauge that helps her navigate the range of customer experiences to make the patient feel more comfortable in the clinical space. Whats more, the doctors hands and fingers were supple, and this attention to detail made any need to manipulate the skin around my eye pleasant.

Dr. Bozak is smart, thorough, easy to talk to and explains everything so you can understand. He used to work for another company. I switched to Goodrich Optical because of him. The office staff are welcoming, friendly and efficient. Youll be glad you chose Goodrich Optical.

By far Goodrich Optical is one of the finest places not only in Michigan, but in all the states that I have ever used. If it was not difficult to fly from South Florida to Holt, Michigan I would have them do all my lenses for all my frames all the time. The Goodrich family runs by far one of the finest optical combination of eye testing and frames in the United States. Every time I call even though no one there knows me, they are extremely friendly and cooperative as if I was a family member calling to say hello. From Florida I have frequently had David Goodrich take care of my lens and frames when I was at my wits end with numerous Florida optical stores that did not have my chassis parts, poorly adjusted the glasses, poor measurements for lenses etc. The citizens of Holt are lucky to have such a complete and excellent optical experience with people who are so caring, knowledgeable, organized and informative. I only wish they had a facility in South Florida, but I am happy I am able to conduct business with Goodrich Optical for my lenses and chassis as if they were in Florida. Goodrich Optical are the only ones in the United States that have parts for my particular frames, I appreciate that I can get parts from them through the mail and they can make lenses for me by sending my old lens and frame with a new prescription. If it was not for Goodrich, I would have to had to replace my titanium frames from France years ago.

This place is the best!Its my second year coming to Goodrich Optical and once again it was beyond enjoyable. As always theres a warm and welcoming staff. Dr. Bosak is relatable and understanding and doles out a smooth and painless exam with great conversation. Furthermore, the wonderful women up front are sweet, helpful and fun! They make picking out glasses and finding suitable features easy and inexpensive. Ive been a client of this (family owned!) business for a very long time, and their new location is much more convenient to get into and out of than the old location. Im always treated courteously and I feel like Im really cared about here.

I highly recommend Goodrich Optical. Exam was easily booked over the phone. I filled out necessary paperwork online at my own convenience. Dr. Bosak was friendly and thorough with my contact lens exam. (He has been my eye doctor for 6 years, and my prescriptions are always spot on.) The office takes my insurance, which is rare, and they offer a wide selection of affordable, stylish frames. Karen was great with helping me find a frame that was covered by my insurance, and upgrading to polycarbonate/AR coating did not cost more than I expected. Everyone at the office is pleasant and professional. They even squeezed me in at the end of the day to pick up my glasses when it was convenient for me. It is worth noting that the staff takes COVID precautions seriously, limiting the number of patients in the office/lobby, enforcing mask-wearing, sanitizing frames between customers, and asking folks to call ahead to space out appointments. Overall, a great experience. I will be back next year!

Love this place they are always pleasant and kind to people

I called to make an appointment to get a glaucoma exam and the receptionist was very impatient. When I told her in the kindest voice to please let me get my word out she denied it and just assumed I wanted to talk to someone else while transferring me to another person while I was still talking to her. Smh I asked her to hear me of what I had to say please. She was very unprofessional and rude just put me on hold without my consent like that. I am one of the easiest, gentle -spoken person to deal with usually but because of that poor experience, I just canceled my appointment. If you want good quality business, you need to develop the characteristic of patience and the training of being a better professional and above all else the heart to serve. I still hope the best business for this company otherwise.

My son failed his vision test with his pediatrician and was in need of a thorough eye exam. He was very nervous and upset at the thought of needing glasses. The doctor, and entire staff made the experience enjoyable for him and put him at ease. There was a great selection of frames suitable for him, and he was able to pick a pair that he was excited about in the end. Overall, great experience.

Here you can expect top notch products and service from a local family business. Actual price out the door was competitive with membership warehouse stores with my insurance. Perscriptions consistently sharpen my vision. They also made good and candid recommendations. I always have fun here and am pleased with the transaction. You can also come here for the exam and buy pre made closest match glasses online without getting a hard time. For me it made sense to buy the glasses here too for superior quality.

I have gone there alot and loved it. Until today. The receptionist was being very very rude!!!The whole time i was on the phone with her and made me feel very unwanted.I will not be going there anymore neither will my daughter nor anyone else i have referred there. Sadly you cant talk to people the way she did and think people are going to want to be there. Ugh going to look for a new eye doctors

Phenomenal! Goodrich is by far the best place I have ever visited for my eye care. I moved from Florida to Michigan 2 years ago, my last eye exam being over 7 years ago, I immediately felt welcomed and the care I received from the doctors as well as their office staff was beyond my expectations.

Extremely friendly and thorough. They helped me find a pair of glasses that fit me very well and helped me throughout the whole process (I havent been to an eye doctor in 4 years almost). Definitely recommend and will be coming back for any of my eye care needs.

Seriously, everyone should go to Goodrich Optical for all your eye care needs. This is a family owned business that has been serving people for many decades, thats right, decades. Each and every family member knows their business extremely well. It is a very good day when you can have your eyes examined by Dr. Bozak and feel comfortable throughout the exam. He has a gift that allows him to talk to you about his travels or biking or running, gaming, or whatever all the while testing your eyes and just like that the exam is done! However, the exam is just the beginning of the Goodrich experience,. What can I say, choosing frames (and there are so many unique frames to choose from) was so much fun so much so that I bought 4 pair of glasses! Mrs. Goodrich took so much time helping me choose and of course I asked for and was given opinions by everyone else in the office too. We chatted and laughed and I simply appreciated not being rushed and feeling like I was important. Truly folks, do yourself a favor, call Goodrich Optical, make, and appointment and see for yourself what not being treated like a number feels like.

This was my first visit after wearing glasses and contacts for 40+ years. I have to say they provide excellent service!! David took his time explaining the dreaded progressive lenses Ive steered clear of and how the technology has changed so much over the last 5 years. He didnt try to up-sell me into something I didnt want and I was extremely happy with the results. I picked up my new glasses yesterday and Stuart Goodrich was very helpful also!! I love, love, love my new glasses! Thanks also to Karen and the very friendly office staff. Happy 50th Anniversary!!

Cannot find my review to respond to owner’s remarks about my negative review. The young girl there explained to me that if I do contact lens exam at that time it would be covered, if I came back another time it would not. She also stated that it could be done at same time. At no time was I told it would require amount of time as to inconvenience other customers. Nor was I told I could schedule another appointment. Maybe it works better for you to have me come in another time and be charged again. Either way. I stand by my review, and don’t recommend your place of business. And I don’t appreciate you making it sound like I had no idea what was discussed.

I went here just to get new lenses for my existing glasses because they were scratched. Simple, right? No. They first tried to get me to buy a new frame for the lenses (the frame was fine). Next apparently it takes 7-10 days to get new lenses installed, and they need your frames to do this. So after another week I finally get the glasses back, but they put in thick plastic lenses, not the thin type lenses that were in previously. The thickness of the plastic distorted the vision terribly and gave me a monster headache. Ive changed out my lenses before on this frame without any issues, so why they decided to install a different lens material is confusing. Therefore, I had to wait another 10 days for them to make new lenses again. This time however, the vision was still distorted, which I can only attribute to the doctor giving me the wrong prescription. My vision is still distorted even after a week of using the new lenses. I would go back and argue with the staff about a full refund, but since they were so severely passive-aggressive, I would do better to just lose the money and not deal with jerky people.

The staff here are as kind as they are professional and are also patient enough to listen to me talk about subjects not related to vision. Dr. B. is the greatest and has very nice bedside manner that you dont find in that many docs (regardless of the specialty) these days.

I went to this office today. Dr. Bosak was amazing. He has wonderful conversation making me feel very comfortable. The man that helped me pick my glasses out was also amazing. Very helpful. I recommend this place to all.

Absolutely amazing! I was told that every employee is a family member, and they have been in the are a family business, for decades! And you can tell because the customer service is impeccable, the professional eye exam is superb, and the frame fitting is the best Ive ever had! You will be pleased if you choose to go there!

We have been going to Goodrich Optical since, I can remember. Our parents was going to them first. Then when their children needed glasses we started going to them. They are family business and friendly. Our mom has health issues and they will come out to the car to adjust her glasses.

Very nice they care very much and very convenient

Honestly the worst experience of my life, its good to have a friendly staff but its important to do your actual job ! so I went for a contact prescription + bad under eye allergy and I paid 188$1/ the prescription is wrong I had the worst headaches ever every time I wear the contacts (daily for a week ) so now Im wearing my 3months old contacts from my old prescription given by another doctor2/ I still have the same allergy problem, he didnt fix the issue even though I called after my visit to say It didnt go away !3/ I dont have insurance I cant pay another 200$ now and Im almost blind so I dont know what to do so DONT GO THERE its a waste of time and money
