Stone Circle Bakery has absolutely amazing products. I regularly get things from the stand at the Allen Neighborhood Farmers Market and I am NEVER disappointed. The bread is absolutely phenomenal (especially the Toasted Seed Loaf), and the other treats are great too, including soft pretzels, bagels, and pastries. The owner is very kind and appreciative and just does an exceptional job. Highly recommend!!
I always buy his bread at Foods for Living, East Lansing. I will try Farmers market too like others talked. Breads are just great.
Stone Circle Bakehouse produces the highest quality local baked goods in the Lansing area!! A slow fermentation process and wood fired baked, results in a tasty crust and tender crumb. Regular breads include: sourdough, multigrain and an italian rustic loaf called pugliese. Also, specialty baked goods: focacia, croissants, poppy-seed bagels, and seasonal stollen; a traditional Xmas German bread with dried fruit and nuts! Sold at Foods For Living (look for the case across from the Deli items) and Allen Market on Wednesdays.
Stopped by the East Lansing Farmer’s market and the Stone Circle Bakehouse stall to pick up their excellent rustic loaf for BLTs. Thank goodness I was wise enough to also try the port wine fig galette (drunken fig galette). These may dethrone the chocolate croissants as my favorite pastry!
Fantastic baked bread and sweets! This is bread the way it was supposed to be be! He sells at East Lansing Farmers Market on Sunday and at Horrocks. Very reasonable price considering the quality of the bread! Treat your self you will not be disappointed. Buy local
Friendly people. Yummy breads and pasteries.
