Had Marty install 4.56 gears and LSD on my 2013 Ram 4x4 . Which requires changing the front assembly since my truck came stock with 3.55 gears . Did an awesome job . I would highly recommend Long Island Driveshafts

Went to some local reputable driveshaft shop for a very simple (custom) job. I had the driveshaft just needed a specific flange attached to a u-joint. I waited for an hour. (I was the only one) They wanted to cut my brand new drive shaft I only payed 200 bucks for so they can weld on something different and attach what I asked for then had the audacity to ask for 300 bucks for something that I feel shouldnt be more that 150 at most. I took the hour drive over to long island driveshaft and regretted not going there in the first place. Right on spot helped me out. Told him what I needed and he said it CAN be done with no cutting or welding. Got lucky and got a call back the next day saying pick it up. The price was very reasonable. Im not sure what else they do but If you guys (or ladies) need a driveshaft job done even if its custom. This guys seen it and done it. Sorry for the long review just sick of seeing friendly service good price reviews.

Hard to find a place that re-tubes driveshafts anymore. Dropped a dented driveshaft off for re-tube, balance and u joints on a Tuesday, was told it would be done by Friday. 2 weeks later still no call from them so I drove there to get the drivehshaft, wether it was repaired or not. Still not done, they just cut it up right now and will be done by end of day. Anyway, $220 and the re-tube looks nice but instead of replacing the u-joints (15 yr old vehicle with over 100K and original u joints with the GM plastic) they just spray painted blue over them and didnt say anything about it when I picked it up. And theyre cash only, I dont mind that but figured Id let people know.

Got my rear end in my 2017 ram 1500 regeared from A 3.21 open diff to a 3.92 limited slip. I was skeptical on a bunch of shops due to reviews but I went to Marty and he reassured me all the work was going to be done in a timely fashion and done right the first time. I dropped my truck off and got a call it was done not even 24hrs later. I just did the 500 mile fluid change and everything is quiet and smooth. If you’re in the market to get differential work go to Marty. His work is very professional and turn around time is very quick. I would certainly recommend Marty for all my driveling needs. I brought my car here on Monday to have my shaft checked and Marty told me I was in need of a new rzeppa head. He said he could not get the part but could build me a new shaft. Although the dealer could order the new shaft for 540, I chose out of a matter of convenience to pay LI Driveshaft the 580. He said the shaft would be done early the following week, but when I called the polling Friday he said he had forgotten about the car(even thought it was in front of his door) and that it would DEFINITELY be done by that Friday. I called Friday afternoon only to hear he had forgotten again and still did not have the parts but that he would have them by Monday. Monday I called and he said he forgot again but would call his supplier and call me right back, never heard back. Tuesday, two weeks and a day after dropping the car off, I showed up at the end of the day and Marty told me that the parts were suddenly unavailable for another two weeks. I told him never mind to just put my old shaft back in and he said he would have it done the next day. I explained I had school and had to pick the car up by 515. Wednesday at 515 I showed up and he said he needed another 40 minutes to put half of the 14 bolts back in. he claimed the half was half in. No he couldnt just finish it quick so I asked him to just roll it out and I would take care of it. He rolled the car out ten minutes later and handed me the damaged shaft. I now after not having my work vehicle for 2 and a half weeks have to go to jaguar now and order the new. I would never come here ever agin or ever recommend anyone to do so.

No good!!! Doesnt do the work properley and damaged parts on my truck which had to be fixed including 1 warped rotor, new brake pads, and missing hardware all over and melted emergency brake cable which was man handled and destroyed.had the truck forever and made excuses as to why he had it as long as he did. Set gears incorrectly and had to pay a professional to redo them the right way. Long story short do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Had Marty make a driveshaft for my 12 valve diesel cummins engine swap into my 89 Chevy dually and repair a broken drive shaft for one of my customers trucks. Both shafts came out excellent and had very quick turn around time. The pricing was very good. A new driveshaft from the dealer was triple what Marty charged me. I looked like a hero for my customer. They also delivered the driveshafts to my shop saving me time out of my day. Both driveshafts are still in the trucks with no issues. Would highly recommend Long Island Driveshaft.
