Absolutely LOVE this Bookstore. The building and their curb appeal is so cute. Definitely stands out. The folks inside had such great customer service. Real small-town atmosphere. They didn’t bother you as you shopped but happily answered any questions. There was so many neat areas as the layout was fun. Especially enjoyed their ALASKA section that was right in front. So many exciting books and even ones signed by Authors. They even had decals and chocolates! 🙂 I would highly recommend this place for anyone to stop by and walk around. There is definitely something there for everyone. I can’t wait to go back again!

This is a very cute and highly inclusive bookstore. It is a cute place for all your book needs and the staff was super friendly. It was also great because they had a post it with info about some books which I found helpful. Although I didn’t end up getting any books I would highly recommend to others.

Just the kind of bookstore I love! Lots of childrens materials, many recommended reads by locals and a comfort with you leaning in a corner and reading a bit before buying!! Not a pre-packaged, best seller list standard large commercial bookstore!

Well organized books by category. All age groups from childrens books, for teens young adults. Was looking for a plant Identification book for Alaska. All types of plant books from simple to scientific/botany plant ID. Good place to spend a whole rainy day.

*Loved* this bookstore. I got two books on baby names / pregnancy / birth for my husband and a feminist book for my daughter for Christmas, and they even gift-wrapped them for free. I thought it had a pretty good selection for a small bookstore. Would definitely come here again.

I love going to the homer book store. The people are so welcoming and nice. I love it that if they dont have a book you want they will order it. It always smells amazing in there. I have been going there for six years and the hospitality never fails.

This is one of the best bookstores I have ever been in! Really interesting books, well laid out, and friendly staff. We ended up going back three times in a week. The books, from childrens to cookbooks to just eye catching titles were well thought out and unique.

Love shopping in this little local bookstore. The staff is uber helpful and because they are big enough to have several reviewers I find the shelf talkers really helpful. They cheerfully order or hold books for me and also make great recommendations when Im browsing and ask for suggestions. Nice selection of quick gifts too and really nice gift wrapping service!

I came to the Homer Bookstore hoping to an autographed copy of Eve and Eivin Kilchers book. Not only did I get an autographed copy but Eivin was there signing copies of the book and personalized my copy!! Made my day🙂 The book seller was very helpful recommending some books on Alaska.
