Great food and coffee. I had the original breakfast burrito and a tan latte. The seating area is very spacious and has drift wood and stained glass art decor that is available for purchase. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Awesome little place. Feels very open, good places to sit and work. Staff very friendly. Free internet that actually works well! Filled with cool art and theres a small stage set up for local musicians. Super happy with the alternative milk choices (more than just almond and soy!!).

Had a vannila brev they made it perfect they didnt kill the expresso with to much sweetness nice and creamy. Top 5 favorite coffee joint in this state.

Stopped in here the other day for a latte and some kombucha! It was so delicious! I also mentioned something about turmeric lattes to the owner and while I was sitting and drinking with my friends he came over with a freshly made turmeric latte for me! Nicest people, great coffee and a truly wonderful place!

I stopped into K Bay when I was staying in Homer for a little over a week and had their Dream Blend as a Doppio and fell in love! I ended up buying two bags, one for myself and one to bring back to some family as a gift. I drink as french press so not sure how it performs in other methods but I definitely suggest checking out this blend if you stop in.The place is super cute and the staff are all very helpful, humble, and happy. I look forward to stopping in again to what would be my regular cafe if I was lucky enough to call Homer Home!

Hands down, the best Americano in the state. Robust, delicious, non-acidic, smooth, Savory coffee thats unrivalled by any other in Alaska. On top of that, the employees here know what actual espresso drinks are so if you order a cappuccino you will really get a cappuccino. Been getting my coffee here for 20 years or at least as long as theyve been around. its second to none.

KBay is a go to for every coffee drinker in town. Its quick and lovely and easily accessible. The parking is terrible but everyone who works there has an easy smile and loves to get you what you need. The music and atmosphere is soothing and I love spending an hour here every once in awhile.

K Bay serves wonderful coffee in a friendly and comfortable environment. If you are visiting Homer, make a point of stopping here. Its worth it. I havent had the food but if its half as good as the coffee, itll be delicious.

Great spot to get a cup of coffee, crafted espresso drink with a wide variety of tea options. They serve soup on the daily and is often vegetarian or vegan in nature...great flavors even if you aren’t vegetarian or vegan (of which I am not). There is quite a bit of seating, including a couple different bar style seating facing the windows overlooking town and the mountains, with peak-a-boo bay views. There are no couches available for seating, only wooden chairs. There is a piano for occasional playing and there is live music, open mic style, on Thursday nights.

The baked goods available are amazing, and its great that they label the pastries if they meet special dietary needs like veganism or gluten free. They have a great self serve drip coffee area, and really good espresso.

Not 5, its ok but seemed too sweet and not many coffee type options. I prefer baked, not roasted beans but that also isnt common up here. Nice building though and friendly as they come staff.

You cannot get a better cup of coffee in Homer, nor in Alaska, maybe not in the world, than one from K Bay. Michael McGuire roasts his organically grown beans to perfection and when a latte or espresso drink is made in his cafe, it is a delectable creation. Ive been drinking K Bay lattes for more than a dozen years and Ive yet to have one that tasted burnt or bitter. Quality all the way.Now that k Bay has moved to Homer town proper, there is food available in the sit-down cafe. Excellent organic food, wonderful soups, friendly atmosphere. Free wi-fi too.When in Homer, K Bay Caffe is a must see. Go there. You wont be disappointed.

Yea, like others I chose this place because I the rating. I was sorry I did. Ordered a Breve, It was ok. The problem I had was the flys hovering in the middle of the room. In addition to the homeless or whoever they were. They were minding there own business which is fine. BUT they smelled horrible. BO for days, after they walked by me several times I had to leave. Sorry but a place I eat and drink is not a place for dirty people. NOTHING against them just that a place of business is not the best place for unbathed people to hang out. Maybe I came on a bad day. I dont know but it wasnt pleasant.

We chose K-Bay because they had such great reviews. Our AK-Chai and hot chocolate tasted bad. Very weak. Seems like only half of the chocolate or chai and rest of it just water... We just expected something totally different

I Yelper posted a correct photo of what I saw when I visited the location. Its the photo with the package of coffee displayed amist the background of a small yellow shack with the white pop-up canopy.Nice, fun spot, to pick up a fresh bag of roast.... Purchased the Ethiopian and Peruvian blend which smelled fantastic and although I didnt have the opportunity to experience the Peruvian blend (gave it away as a thank you present), I did experience the Ethiopian which was dark, bold with a robust flavor. Brew it strong using a Miletta coffee filter on a slow drip cycle and you should notice a slightly bitter flavor. Using the same Miletta coffee filter and placing it on a fast drip cycle, youll notice a more smoother flavor absent the bitterness.
