Bulk gathering center for all surrounding communities is good on characters

Good for bulk items. Great deli. Nice inexpensive liquor/wine 🍷 area. Sort of a mini, mini Costco. Even sells some of their brands. No jewelry or big items.

An interesting store that captures small town life in Alaska. They have an assortment of merchandise that caters to the needs of locals and visitors alike.

An odd assortment of stuff you cant find anywhere else. A little disorganized thats why I love it.

This place is such an asset to our community. Locally cut meat, as well as local produce, skin care products and coffees, so many ethnic and international items. Broadening to the mind and the palate. Budget items, seasonal items, prepared foods to go, a place to feel good and be real. Dont forget to feed the food donation dinosaur at the front of the store and take your picture with him, very artfully rendered. I am happy to spend my hard earned $ at such an establishment. Very interesting and Alaskan community bulletin board also.

Good pizza and sushi. Service is okay. Selection is pretty good, if a bit random at times.

Best holsale place in homer

Save-U-More is the go-to place for fresh local produce (thank you Homer Hilltop Farm!) They were awesome before the pandemic, but now theyve shown their true colors. Im so glad they are requiring masks. They care to keep ME and my FAMILY safe by keeping their EMPLOYEES safe.

Great for bulk items and meats. Be prepared to look for items as organization is slightly lacking. Snack bar is affordable and delicious.

Tried the lunch tacos. I know it is a knock off of Sams but I didnt need the heartburn.

Love this place! Very easy to find things. Isles are well labeled and large and they carry a large variety of hard-to-find brands and natural foods. The store is large and well lit, easy to get around and have VERY friendly staff. Someone asked me if I needed help finding anything within the first five minutes there. And I did need help! Definitely our go to store from now on. After dealing with Safeway for a week, Save U More is a much welcomed change!

People complaining about masks are just whiners. The store is great and if you have such a huge problem with wearing a mask, this wonderful store offers no contact pick up or no contact grocery delivery. I have never had a problem here, theres great service, decent pricing, and a wider selection than any other grocery store around. Again, if you have a problem with masks, you can order your groceries to be dropped off at your house or picked up at the store (all no contact) dont be a jerk about masks. These folks have to risk their butts to pay their bills working during a pandemic the least you could do is show a little respect and gratitude while they ring you up.

Five stars because we’re thankful for its variety. Provides a welcome selection beyond what Safeway offers. Glad for all the Asian groceries and natural and organic food items. Funky layout and it sometimes takes a bit of a hunt to find things.

Good grocery store.

I was refused service for not wearing a face mask by a clerk who wore a mask below their nose. I was offered a mask of questionable provenence (poorly wrapped, no labeling, unclear indications for use, etc.) The masks in question are neither designed to prevent virion transmission nor cleared by the FDA for said indications for use. In fact, the safety and effectiveness concerns associated with such masks present certain health risks. Although Save-U-More is simply capitulating to imprudent public health guidance that is little more than a placebo, I am very unlikely to shop there in the future--even after the current mask hysteria. Amazon delivers products of better quality, cheaper. I prefer to wait for products or to identify more reasonable businesses than to spend money at a business that employs fascist protocol.

This store has that unique food item you need.

Good place, good people. It can be a bit of a maze the first time you go, but once youve gone there a few times, youll get a good sense of where things are.

Large selection, mostly bulk, but not everything. Best selection of meat and healthy food options.

Hard to rate as I LOVE sav u more, but the succumbing to the mask peer pressure makes me angry and sad. Its Alaska....where people come to survive and be free.... Chipping away at our freedoms makes it VERY hard to have an enjoyable experience.

I shop at SaveUMore and eat at their deli often. One of the best places in Homer in my opinion. All employees are polite and seem to be hard workers

Prices here are terrible and the employees seem to hate customers passionately.

What happened to the free wifi? I really rely on that when I dont have cell service. Especially when I am buying for somebody else. Will you consider making a free one again? Thank you

Good place to buy bulk here in homer with out going to Kenai

Customers cannot ask for assistance looking for frequently-moved items because employees all have their masks down to their chins or are not wearing one at all. One maskless employee mocked and laughed at me when I asked him to put his mask on. Many customers were walking around freely without masks, as well. This store is dangerous.

Went in just for a fresh hot pizza, placed my order and clerk said give us 20min. Si i waited a lil over 30min then went in with my receipt thank goodness i keep them since my had even been started clerk didnt know what i was talking about me. A lil upset with the situation i gave them my receipt showed them date qnd time of purchase they then started my order wh8ch i had to wait another 25min.for. pizza was excellent to bad staff wasnt that great.

They require (and enforce) a mask policy. 5/5

Very impressed with their selection and prices. For a small town store, they had a great international variety and the prices were fair, some even better than big box store prices in Anchorage! They had selections from Costco, Trader Joes, etc. Pre packaged cut meat selection wasnt the greatest, however they had a butcher so likely could get what you want.

Provide an excellent selection and variety of goods.Prices are good and acceptable.I also enjoy that they have a sushi section, made in store.

Always friendly. Take a few visits to get the layout to find what your looking for. Good prices but good to compare with Safeway.

Todays experience was excellent because of Tim Nelson. He is very professional and always goes out of his way to be helpful. Tim is a real assist to the Save-U-More shopping experience. So nice to have him back.

I love this store, especially considering that its one of only two actual grocery stores in Homer, Alaska. The other one being a Carrs/Safeway store. Theyre also very competitive, price wise, with the Carrs store.Their pies, and other baked goods, are done in the store, and second to none. The meat department is supplied by McNeil Canyon Meats. Its definitely an extremely high quality butcher shop and processor of sausages and other custom meats. The pet department is fully stocked with natural and organic foods and treats. The Deli makes the best carryout pizza in town, JMHO. The other foods available are generous portions at unbelievably low prices. Its a bit off the beaten path, but easy to find. I highly recommend this place.

This store has so many things. Ever kind of ethnic ingredient you could want. I love to cook so am always stopping in to grab things. They also are great to work with for bulk orders and business orders.

Great place to buy groceries, animal feed, just about anything AND they carry many international foods plus organics, special dietary needs such as gluten free products. Staff always friendly and helpful. Their sushi bar is phenomenal too. Chef John is a true sushi master.

Has great variety and the deli area as well as sushi too...ordered chicken strip baskets today for kids they gave someone else our order after we waited 15 minutes and the other person who just ordered got them and I walked up when the other person was wondering if it was right. So we waited 30 minutes and the explanation I was given was shift change. Sushi cook when having just one that one should get paid more for doing such great work of two people.

Its an easy place to blow a hand full of cash. Homers only real bulk supply store and they are much larger than outside appearance. Good deals, but bulk supply means more spent money but good prices. Buyer beware, go get gas before shopping. Haha

Great place to shop for groceries and some other misc items. Has the best to price ratio for food in town. Makes pizza to order and other good deli food, also has a sushi counter.

Great pizza! If you like it Greasy who doesnt just dont eat to much! Kinda behind the times on product but will work with customers to order product people need. Lots of natural products. The soda is a little expensive! Some real good deals on bulk products like many warehouses cheep bulk toilet paper and pizza is a must! Large selection of frozen goods and ice cream. Also alcohol and tobacco this is the place to go in homer to buy bulk rolling tobacco to get away from the mass marketing of big tobacco!

So many options! Want Tea? You can find it in the American food aisle, in the European food aisle, Organic? Thats another aisle. Asian? That is here too. Not only can you find delectable items available no where else in Homer, you can have an adventure shopping. Also Alaskan grown meat..

Nice selection of products, I enjoy shopping here on occasion. Some items are a fair value. The Costco bulk products are marked up astronomically.

Coming from someone who lives in a different part of the country, the place has good options. The only gripe I have are the prices, but thats simply due to the cost of living.

Its really not a save u more $ type of place. It does sell a few items in bulk like Costco and Sams Club but the savings arent as you would expect as if you were shopping at Sams C. and Costco. But hey Its Homer, Everything is expensive + tax on top of that.

Check out is weird but deli rocks and variety of store products is amazing.

Best pizza in town hands down.

I like it for a full shopping trip for this area, the pizza is the best for the price and bulk is often not much more than what it would be in Kenai/Soldotna.

It has a little bit of everything for individual and bulk items. The staff is kind and willing to help and they always have a great variety

Small town has a lot of choices store covers a lot of different menu needs.

I like this small warehouse grocery store because it is good at paying attention to the ecclectic cullinary whims of Homer. Prices are not spectacular, but the selection is always intetesting.
