Small place they have Purity & Barbers on the same lot. Once you go thru guard shack check in will be to the left all the way to the back near door 21. I seen trucks parked at closed Kmart about 1.5 miles away beside I65

Great milk brand, Barber is one of the most consistent brands of milk. A favorite of mine. Tastes better than the new Prairie Farms.

Bought a gallon of whole milk. Been drinking barbers all my life, but this last gallon i bought did not taste right.. Dont want to buy some more and have the same problem. You should send me coupon or something..

Its unlikely you will come here unless youre a truck driver. If you are one, and have to deliver here, getting in the gate sucks, incredibly stupid almost u-turn into the gate. This is the reason for 4 stars. I would give them 5, but that gate....ugh. wide open spaces for backing, I pulled a 53 dry van in, tankers have plenty of room.

We drove 3 stores before we found your milk .we want drink anything but barbers butter milk we couldnt find a half gallon. Only a quart.why dont the stores in Blountsville alaba carry your milk anymore. The best milk all around. Thanks barbers

I have been calling for weeks to try set-up an account for my facility and have left several messages with Mr. Kennedy and he has not returned any of my phone calls. This is unacceptable!!

I deliver for an independent distributor that receives Barber’s school and store milk for our area. We used Mayfield previously but was switched to Barbers last year once they closed a Mayfield facility in Georgia. This has been a nightmare and the worst experience we’ve seen since I’ve been working for the company and even beyond that.Both companies are owned by Dean Foods but they are ran completely different which is the main problem. The crates we receive are always dirty, they stink horribly and we’ve experienced numerous deliveries where the crates are covered in maggots. There are always numerous crates with busted and leaking milk which makes our job even harder as drivers. We’ve complained too many times to count but NOTHING has changed. It’s sad that this company, which seems to pride itself on its past reputation, can deliver such below par products almost each and every time when the Mayfield facility that closed were always top notch every single time..After the experiences we continue to have, I’m surprised the Alabama health department hasn’t showed up to close down the Birmingham facility. They must keep this filth hidden because if they would visit us after we receive a delivery, they would probably think twice about keeping this place open. It’s an example of too many big wigs making big bucks and turning their face to the problem while the front line workers constantly slack on quality and cleanliness. I hope someone from the company or health department browses this post so we can possibly see the change that the drivers, distributors and customers deserve.

Employees dwonload ice truck drivers do a great job

When delivering milk arrive no earlier than 30 minutes before your appointment time (no parking available) and you will get received close to your appointment time.

Typical cold storage warehouse that will take you early(in my case 6hrs early) AS LONG AS YOURE PRE COOLED. Friendly enough staff. Load time was 45mins.

OTR, delivery, nice in and out, nice ladies at gate and cool dudes to unload

Slow and was hard to get around for all the stuff everywhere

Very small yard but it has three unload and 1 load out bay.

No room for semi parking.

Hiring process is ridiculous.

Place is very cramped no place to wait if you arrive too early to unload.
