I called ahead to ensure they had Geodes to purchase for a science class. The phone call was kind of abrupt and she didnt want to answer my questions so I could make sure they had what I needed before I went out in a pandemic.I arrived, double masked as I am compromised. Walked in the door with all the warnings and exclusionary statements and was greeted by an unmasked woman near the counter.If I worked alone in a space like that I wouldnt want to wear a mask when alone either. Unfortunately, she didnt put one on as I entered.She noticed I was waiting and told me I could come in. I replied, Im waiting for you to put your mask on. She replied that masks are not required in this establishment. I said, Ok, cool. Thanks. and left.I wont be spending my money at a place that is actively trying to kill compromised people like me

Beautiful selection, I got an amazing looking geode I got to crack open myself and a beautiful bismuth stone for my friend. Definitely coming back here.

The rocks and minerals were beautiful, nice variety. The store is small and also feels more like a museum or display case. Definitely NOT a place for children as the owner doesn’t like when they touch too much, jump, or walk hard since basically everything will shake or move. I’ve given this rating because although the store was overall beautiful the customer service is very off putting and rude. My son (3 yo) hit his head on the corner of a shelf knocking over a small animal shaped rock and instead of the worker asking how he was he said “this is why you need to control them.” Nothing was broken and it was an accident and still that was the response.
