Always find great deals when I go there! Love it!

Amazing the transformation of this store in the last year or so - used be junky, unorganized, a real mess. Now it’s completely organized and super easy to shop good deals. Staff is friendly and helpful. I called ahead and they had my order waiting at the cash register and helped me load. Great store.

Good deals on specific items you are looking for. And they have weekly deals where you can get even better prices on specific items! I needed some bedding items and got a fantastic deal! Decent quality stuff too. The food items are hit or miss, but housewares are pretty good.

Exactly what you expect, as long as your expectations are reasonable. Picked up some good chewy dog toys for next to nothing. They often have M&Ms and similar candy bags for 1/3 of the grocery store.Sometimes have good deals on tools as long as you intend to use it just once. About the same as you expect from Habour Frieght.The occasional awesome deal. Found a nice $250 TV mount for $30 - no damage, no missing pieces.

Called over intercom to scan cameras when me n my BF are only ones in stor e and definitely werent stealing.

Fun store to come too especially if you have money youll leave everytime with something

Found a really good deal on some shorts there. Workers were nice too.

They do not greet you as you enter and employees are not very helpful, bathrooms are filthier than a truck stop.

They dont have all the electronics like they use toBut its ok

Its very easy to find things and the managers are really amazing very helpful actually all the employees were super friendly and caring especially with the two girls in clothing red hair and blonde

Staff were so nice when i walked in 5min before closing with a sackfull of returns thinking you were open another 2hrs. Started to turn around when i realized the time and they called me back since i obviously wasnt there to.browse... much appreciated.

This particular store is the one to go to. We found a queen sized heated mattress cover with dual controls (made by sunbeam) and it was reduced 75%. We paid $7 for it.They used to have electronics but haven’t had any in a while. But yeah- it’s worth checking out just for the clearance items and the clothes.

Personally i have shopped here before and loved the customer service but i haven’t been in a while and going back earlier this week reminded me of why the attitude and respect for customers in this store is very rare specifically in the cashier area the young lady with the ponytail that has questionable posture is a hit or miss when it comes to respect

This is a fun little store to visit frequently to find the occasional gem. I am.Each week the prices drop on items that have been there for a while. So sometimes you can find a really great deal on the coffee maker or some other useful appliance. Be sure to peek into open boxes to make sure all parts repair . Also be sure to check the Labels on the brown cardboard boxes because sometimes youll find overlooked items that people passed by just because there is no picture on the box.

I absolutely love this store! Such a hidden gem to find expensive items at a low bargain price. You have to do some inspecting of items and digging to find the good stuff though.

Used to be a cool place to find...well bargains. Nothing special here anymore, very trashy and a feeling of going down hill. Not worth a look unless you want a rug.

The Bargain Hunt chain has all kinds of treasures and I enjoy going. The staff are always friendly and the store is organized not ransacked.If youre a impulse buyer go there, and the sting of buyers remorse will not be so unbearable.

This store has really been cleaned up in the past several months. The stores is under new management, and he is doing a great job. For a surplus/salvage store, everything is very tidy. There are no longer torn open boxes strewn about. The bathrooms are a little old, but that comes with the building. They were still clean.

Hey, if your into finding deals and not getting shanked in the parking lot this is the place!!! I always stop in here when in Hoover!!! There is no telling what you will find!! Well, with the exception of an idea of what some of the stuff is or does... Lol, its really a neat place for a hunt.

They have a great clearance section right after a holiday, but it is hard to find specific items that you want beforehand. You really just need to go and browse, without having much in mind.

Ok, so I like this place. Seems to be returned/box damage items from Target, Amazon, and maybe other retailers. Not the cleanest/most organized store, but the A/C works, restrooms are decent, and staff are friendly. Big step up from a thrift store with way better (new) merchandise.

Awesome short on money

First time in many months to check out their stock and prices. I used to find some awesome deals, not so much today. They have changed their pricing, and not for the better.

I always find great deals! Got my little girl a jungle gym. Im always surprised at the things I can find. Thats why its called bargain hunt. My yellow tag was an extra 20% off.

It was okay. But the employees were outstanding. I didnt get her name but she try her best to find what I was looking for.

It was an alright shopping experience. Some really good deals and some things really overpriced to be in a bargain store. Employees werent too friendly. Nothing there to really make you want to come back.

Ok...go in with low expectations for presentation and ambience...this is like going through a return section at a big box store to find some great deals. But its always worth the stop. Their clothing section will surprise you...many of their brands are from Target. Give it a try.

Great for finding deals. Just check your prices on the tags, sometimes its not worth the savings, and also check to make sure it there are multiple pieces that everything is in the box/included since everything is sold as is.

I find (a) deal most of the time but not sure most things are a bargain.

Used to be an awesome place to go. Different owner there now. Things are different isnt a fun or as much of a deal as before. Stuff broke or missing parts is only discounted 10% witch isnt even the taxes off. So its a alright place to shop. Used to go twice a week now only go maybe once every couple months.

You need to stop by they have good stuff in there never know what youll find

The one line was backed up with about 15 customers while 2 other workers stood and just looked at the line while dividing up candy between the two of them.. Then one clocked out and left.. Just need more help

Exactly what youd expect of a discount store. Both employees I spoke with were very friendly and helpful. Clean story and generally easy to find items.

Interesting concept. Many finds to be found! Stock constantly changing so if you see it today you might better buy it now. Sometimes the staff radio is too loud but otherwise you can browse for quite a while.

The name says it all. Ill frequently look here for essentials or good deals. Just got several 12 Oz bags of coffee for 3 dollars a piece

This Bargain Hunt seems to be the unwanted step-sibling of the Bargain Hunt company. Ive purchased 3 things from here and had to return them all. All of the items were damaged beyond repair or filthy from prior use. The cashier advised that its a problem they face here often. Ill probably just stick to the location in Irondale.

Its a hunt here for sure but theres always a good find. It just may require much time! They have clothes, toys, housewares, outdoor needs, automotive items, dry food, and more. Most items are a true bargain. Some prices dont beat retail. The store is rarely clean but thats just what you get in this discount place. Staff are scarce too so dont have much expectation for customer service. If you have some time to kill and arent looking for anything in particular, check it out.

Junky and just an overall NO. Ollie’s and Big lots are MUCH better
