We called in the morning with a broken garage door and the same day they were able to come out and fix our issue. Extremely quick, proficient, and polite; We could not have asked for a better service to call. We will be solely utilizing them in the future.

What a shining example of how a business should operate! I needed a repair to my garage door. Golden Garage Door Services came out the next day, right when they said they would and did the repair. They came out on the weekend, didnt charge me anything extra for a non-week day. They didnt try and sell me anything I didnt need - - they just fixed my problem perfectly. We need more businesses like this one! True to their work and they autographed their work with quality!

The spring broke in my garage and the door would not come up at all. They came out quickly, explained that we needed that spring replaced and another added for the door size, and were extremely reasonable on price. Highly recommend.

I cant say enough good about Golden Garage Door Services! My grandmother lives in Birmingham, AL and I am not local so I am unable to help her out when it is time to find reliable work in these cases. We found Golden on Google and not knowing who else to call, we gave them a chance. Chad and Ken worked to repair her garage door and they did an excellent job! She accidentally hit the remote button to close her door while she was backing out and the door was jammed in the frame, bent, and off the tracks. They came out to repair it for her within 2 hours. They got her door back on track, repaired dents and put new rollers on it so that it would open more smoothly and quietly. The rollers added life to her opener motor as well. They were very kind, explained everything clearly to her, and charged her a very reasonable price to repair her door. She was afraid she would have to buy a whole new door, but they were able to repair the one she had and fit the repair within her fixed income budget. It is so nice to know that there are still honest people out there who help me to take care of Grandma when I cant be there to do it myself. Thank you Chad and Ken! You saved us!

Very professional!! They were on time for all appointments and both doors were installed in a few hours. The installer was so nice. He explained how everything worked. The doors look great and they run smoothly. It was nice to be able to buy locally from a Mom and Pop instead of a big box or chain. Price was competitive and quality was excellent.

I had an excellent experience with Golden Garage Door Services. One of my torsion springs snapped on Sunday. I called these guys Monday morning (after looking at their proximity to my house and reading reviews such as this). They were able to set up an appointment that worked best with my schedule. The customer service was exceptional. Mr. Ken called ahead of his arrival to let me know that he was running a few minutes behind schedule, but would be at my house as quickly as possible. Following his arrival, he went over my situation in detail, explained my options, and gave me the choice on how to proceed. He was honest, and didnt try to sell the unnecessary. He also voluntarily left his cell number in case I had any issues whatsoever. Its tough nowadays to find companies that operate in this fashion, or a better serviceman than Mr. Ken. I thought the pricing was also very fair. There may be a better price somewhere else, but you certainly wont regret using these guys for their expertise and quality of service.

My car was stuck in my garage and I called Golden Garage to schedule an appointment. The lady on the phone was so polite and professional and was able to get a technician to me the same day within a few hours. He very knowledgeable and professional. It took about an hour and I was back on the road. I am customer for life.

My garage door was making a crazy noise and then the other night I heard a loud pop. I went in the garage to investigate the noise and say that my spring had broke. I called Golden Garage Door and they were able to get someone to me the very next day. Ken was great and explained everything so that I could understand. He replaced my springs, pulleys and rollers and now you can barely hear the door opening at all. The price was great too!!!

The garage door on a home I recently sold was damaged. Fearing it may impede the sale, I called several repair companies, who arrived and promptly tried to sell me a new door. Golden Garage was different. They came and repaired the door on site. By reinforcing the door, and replacing worn out hardware, they assured the closing of the sale, and saved me over $900. Chad and his tech Ken were both knowledgeable, courteous professionals, and I recommend Golden Garage to anyone in need of service or repair.

We bought a new house about 6 years ago. The garage doors were so noisy and rough. Every time we opened or closed, people sleeping in the room above were disturbed. Golden Garage replaced the rollers, tightened the tension on the springs and lubricated the hinges on both doors. The difference was night and day. They also suggested we replace our chain drive operators with built drive operators which will even decrease the noise. Looking to do that in the future. Very pleased with their service. Will definitely call them when we are ready to replace our motors. Very honest and professional.

Yesterday I left for work and my door was not opening but the motor was running. I looked online and called around. Called Golden Door and the lady on the phone was able to get someone to me within an hour and half. Ken was very nice and knoweldgeable. The gear in the motor had stripped out and was a quick fix. I paid less than $300 which was quoted by other companies. I hardly missed any work. Great company!!!!

I came home from work and my garage door was not opening when I pushed the button in my car. I called Golden Garage after seeing their listing online and looked them up on the BBB website. It was after business hours but someone answered the phone and it wasnt an answering service. She told me that a technician could be at my house between 8 and 9 the following day. Sure enough Ken showed up a little after 8 after he had called me to let me know he was on his way. Come to find out the gear in my motor had broken off. He was able to fix it in a relatively short amount of time and the price was reasonable. I would definitely recommend this company. Every person I dealt with was very nice and very professional.

Hang on to your wallet! Golden did a torsion bar conversion for me on 9/4/14 and charged $425. My other garage door suffered the same fault. On 11/24/14, Magic City Door came out and did the same conversion. Their charge- $240. Ill let you do the math.
