Have gotten glasses here several times. Great staff and very good selection of frames. Always find a pair of frames that fit properly. Tried a local chain eyeglass store with their own lab two years ago, paid close to $400 after insurance, worst glasses ever. Went back and was basically told thats what the doctor ordered. Came back to this WalMart Vision Center and had a pair of glasses made, they were perfect. I can see again!! Thanks.
Mr James is the guy that you will need to see,I walked in needing my glasses tightened and Mr. James fixed them less than 5min. Great atmosphere and a clean shop. YES,I would recommend
I am particular about choosing frames and have never found it easy to work with someone to do so. I found assistance with ease in the guidance of Shirley Grigsby not once, but three times! I purchased one set of frames and was so satisfied with them that I went back and chose another set to buy. Shirley was professional and courteous. Moreover, she extended a great deal of her heart and jovial personality that told me she loved her job. That made the experiences so much better. After purchasing my second pair, I decided to take my 11 year old in to get assistance in choosing her perfect frame. Shirley came through again with great success. I have shared my satisfaction with all who will listen, as working with my daughter is not a simple task. With typical preteen attitude, comes complete and utter distaste in anything I think looks good on her. It took mere minutes for Shirley to gain the trust of my child and personably guide her to a frame that was made just for her. My daughter has been in glasses since she was almost 4. The task of choosing every pair throughout the years has never been so painless. I wish all people had the same ability to make others feel that comfortable with decision making. Kudos, Ms. Grigsby. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will most definitely be back again!
The staff at this store was so helpful Susanne went out of her way to help with our granddaughters Eyeglasses. Susanne made sure we found the proper frames! She ordered the extra special lenses that we needed for this precious baby of ours! The glass came in after only seven days as promised! We now have the happiest granddaddy I have known since she was born. She can see thank you so much thank you.
I could not have asked for better service at the Walmart vision center. Susanna was amazing!!! I had a terrible experience at an overpriced local eyeglass store before coming here. The staff was Truly very helpful!!! Susanna helped me order the glasses my daughter needed at half the cost of the other place. I saved over $200 for better quality lenses with all the bells and whistle’s. The turnaround time was a 7 business days, like promised. The new glasses fit my daughter amazingly. I highly recommend and will be back for years to come. Thank you for helping my daughter be able to see!
Had my vision checked, the Optomitrist was fantastic, then went into the vision center to order my glasses, its been 3 weeks and no glasses, every time I call, I am told they were in, But were sent back, This is happened every week for the past 3 weeks, we are going on week 4 now,, I just want my money back and to go somewhere else. As I said before, the optometrist is fantastic, I will return to him but not and I repeat not order my glasses from Walmart.
Wrong prescription 3 times in a row. I have spent over a month waiting for my glasses to come back only for the wrong prescription. Contact lenses are useless because they wouldent give me a new set and the box was opened because I had to try them. I spent 2 weeks waiting for glasses one time only for the lenses to not even fit in the frame correctly. New prescription is still not correct in one eye. I have worn glasses for 25 years and this is the first time I have ever had to deal with anything like this. Horrible experience waiting so long over and over and to have a bad prescription each time. Some of the staff is awesome some of the staff is absolutely rude and not helpful. I’m just going off of the choices the doctor gave me. Would absolutely not recommend.
Dont waste your time going here... Dr doesnt accept Walmart Vision plan on Certain days... if you happen to miss an appointment they block you from getting another one...Things happen... But to block a person from getting another appointment is asinine.... If I could give a 0 star I would....
Just picked new glasses. The optometrist was very helpful and didn’t try to sell something I didn’t need. So far, I am very happy with the professionalism and friendliness of the people working there.
Ive been taking my daughter here for 3 years and am so happy with their doctors. They are honest and truely care. My child is autistic and they are so great with her. They take their time and understand that certain test and things that they do are more difficult for someone like her. I appreciate them and will not take my daughter to any other eye Drs because of the way they are with her.
So my eyes, they cause me anxiety. Having anyone touch them or look at them truly stresses me. I made an appointment for this morning (Oct 25). I waited out front of the store for 20 minutes. I called the store to see if anyone was inside. A woman came out and picked up the phone and hung it up. I watched her. Then she came out a side door asking if I had an appointment. I stated yes. I was told to come early and someone would walk me around. She was not fruendly. No customer service skills. First thing in the morning and she was already impatient and rude. She stated your appointment Id at 830. She was so argumentative. There wasnt any argument coming from me. Im already stressed over getting ready to have my eyes looked at.She said WALK THRU THAT DOOR. I walked thru only to have her come around the corner where I was standing Hough and walked past me and point. As I walked through the door where she pointed she said Mitch the 8:30 is here. At that point I was starting to feel like I was done I didnt want to have someone that was obviously in such a bad mood first thing in the morning check my eyes. So as she walked into a side room and started setting up I walked over to Mitch. Mitch said he needed my insurance information. Thats what I told Mitch I gave the information over the phone. And as I was trying to begin telling him that my husbands company did not give us insurance cards he began to speak over me and interrupt me. Stating he needed my insurance card and he needed a picture ID. At that point I was about in tears. Some people do not have anxiety over eye exams some people do. Some people have anxiety over their annual doctor visits sometimes. When youre in the service industry the way you treat people when they walk in either calms or intensifies their anxiety. At that point I stopped I looked at Mitch I said you know what I think Ive changed my mind. She was rude to me and unwelcoming when she let me in. I tried to talk to you and you spoke over me and interrupted me. I dont feel comfortable I dont feel welcome. I just want to go. Can you unlock this door so that I can get out.Mitch got up from around the counter came to unlock the door and stated I apologize for that. I was almost beginning to cry over the anxiety and I just shook my head and walked out the door. Im sure that the woman that let me in and was argumentative, frustrated, and impatient, had some things to say after I walked out. That just shows a lot to her character. But I will never ever recommend or go back to the Vision Center.
Horrific service. Had to contact them three times about the wrong prescription. I have had enough.
