Looks a lot more organized than before.

The checkouts are long and slow.. unfortunately its been that way for years and they have no plans to improve it.. Youre better off going somewhere else.

Took away riders for older people that have oxygen!!! This is a big store and thats sad!!!

Better off buying from Walmart. I know this is a discount store but everything I buy is of low quality. Clothes bought there become beat down after a few wash. Not a single one is not a wash rag after a year of limited use. Even things like deodorant don’t do their job. I start smelling after a few hours of applying and that’s from sitting down. I would rather pay a little more for things that I can use. Makes me feel like there’s no redeeming places at Cavalier Square which is the closest center to me but I avoid it like a plague.

I love shopping here! The bargains I find always made it worth the drive there. They have the best variety of items Ive ever seen in a discount store. Also being a larger size I was amazed at the selection they had to choose from. Not just a little rack of clothes. I recommend this store!

My favorite store! The best deals in town. I always shop there. I bought the most beautiful rug for the bedroom and it was only $60. Crazy low prices. Nice staff!

For what it is, a discount store, its delightful. I visit when Im in town and if I go with a specific list Im sometimes disappointed. But, go in to see what delights await and I come out thrilled and happy.

This store has been here forever. It has a little bit of everything in it from clothes, shoes, home decor, toys, food, hygiene products, some electronics and a little automotive. Its not on the level of Walmarts convenience, but it can be a one stop shop sometimes. You name it, and Roses might have it or something close. My only complaint is that it needs to be renovated. It has looked the same since the 80s. Theres something about Targets color scheme and lightning that makes me happy when I shop there...I dont quite get that vibe in Roses. But the prices and selection are definitely reasonable and well worth enduring the dated decor.The store is usually pretty clean. And Ive never had a customer service issue.

Wednesdays, Senior Day. Good deals, Prices arent bad either. Not a Walmart, but they Strive and Care about their Community. No other Store, gives their Seniors, a One day 10% off. Walmart, want! Lets all Give back to Roses, and Shop the Hopewell, Cavalier Square, Store. Nice Staff too.

You cannot beat the prices here. It is a wholesale store, you might have to dig a little bit its totally worth it if you want a great deal!

My daughter saw two bras that she wanted. They were both on hangers that sold two together but each one was missing its match. She asked if she could combine them since each was missing its match and they were both the exact same price. She was told no that they would take 10% off each one. Of course there screwing you and themselves out of a sale and they still have two bras that cant be sold by themselves. Is that smart? If you were in a Wal-Mart store they would have said sure and scanned the price for two bras and just thrown the other in the bag. Duh! What is so sad is that management does not allow the cashiers or their supervisors to make that judgement call. Stupid!

Dont go if your in a rush definitely not enough employees to run registers speed of service is VITAL in return customers. They do have nice prices but the waite in line is just bad.

This place has changed so much since I worked there late 80s. It has really gone down hill in my opinion. Check out is horribly slow so dont be in a hurry. They really have become a sorta five and dime type dept store. Really miss the old Roses.

I normally love shopping at Rosesminus no firearms sign posted on the door Im a mother of three and I carry for the safety of my children and myself. I wish they would reconsider.Today I went to get shoes for my sonsize 9 and they only have little girls shoes on the shelf.So I decide to purchase some other things in the store. I saw so furniture I was interested in but it had no tags on it and I couldnt find any employees.Them when I got to the register or check out the wear only 2 lines open and the lines where very long.The woman in front of me needed a price check.I waited 25 minutes with one item for this customer to get a price check and the employee checking the price still had not returned. I asked the casher if he could ring me up while they waited and he said no.I leaving the store without the item that I wanted to purchase. 😠😡😢I dont know if I will ever go back,If I do go back I know not the have anything else planed for the day.

Floors are Dirty plus dusty items and wheres the prizes on the items.

I like this discount store because it has items that you can not be find at Walmart.

The area is a little shaky, no public restrooms but the store has great prices and great clothing.

They sell everything. VHS tapes, clothes, snacks, housewares and toys. Bed, Bath and Beyond for the communities without one.
