Food Lion customer service is so awesome. No matter where I have been in regards to the food Lions I have never had an issue with any of their employees they have always been friendly and kind and very informative when I have needed to find things. Thank you for making all of my visits pleasant

Not a very big selection on much. However they have great deals on a lot of things that I use and the store is kept clean. Wipes and hand sanitizer....masks are optional

Usually a great experience with Customer Service, but this particular visit the Cashier acted like she didnt want to ring up my coupons that were from that weeks paper! I did not appreciate that.

I always visit food loin does not matter which one I love to shop at food lion I love their fresh vegetables. They have most of what I need and want from a grocery store.

This Food Lion had everything we were looking for. Which does not happen often anymore. Usually we can not find what we are looking for at other Food Lions. It was clean and well staffed.

Nice cashier but the store was empty nothing in stock

7/10/2021 . Entered the store about 2:45 pm on a Saturday afternoon. Walked around the store selected about 8 items and when I was about to leave guess what? No Express lanes were open... so in order to get my 8 items, I would have to stand in lines backed up down the aisles. So I put put everything on a shelf and went to dollar tree. This is the second time Foodlion in Hopewell has gotten me like that. Just ridiculous.. The manager should warn customers that if they only want a few items, theyre certainly better off going somewhere else. The .. The one girl that is managing is pretty hot, but she need to pay more attention to whats going on.

Nice selection of dog food and treats, compared to the store near me in Petersburg.

Would never shop here again. Cashier was extremely hesitant in checking my groceries at checkout because I didnt have Food Lion card and wasnt very forthcoming or very help with information of how to obtain a card.

They always have a good selection they have good prices and a lot of sales and the staff are always very friendly, this is my Food Lion I have been using this one since I moved out here a year ago and I absolutely love this store

Store was clean and there always try to restock the shelves it nice to see raspberry sherbet ice cream in stock. There having diet soda in stock.

Decent vegan selection that includes tofu, tempeh, burgers, hotdogs, ground meats, bacon, and cheeses.

Elizabeth at the deli counter was amazing in how she helped us with our meat choices. Very kind and professional. The vibe of the whole store was great.

I use this grocery store almost every week but lately a lot of the products I buy on a weekly basis are not stocked. Friendly staff and check-out is usually pretty quick. I think they just need to keep better track of their inventory and try to restock empty shelves faster in the future.

Yummy, good ol brains and tripe! I really bought a bunch of herbal tea, vegetables and yogurt. The almond breeze brand almond milk and honeycrisp apples were a good deal this week. I cant wait to see the sale on the zevia drinks! It is the best sugar free stevia drink on the market. Im glad to notice it is now on the shelves at food lion.

Good enough for a grocery store I guess? Regularly cleaned and stocked.Only recent issue was social distancing, as in no one was doing it successfully.

Very friendly shelves are little too bare. Still cant get Instant rice there. But we usually get what we need in there at fair prices and the staff is very friendly to us there

Emphasis seems to be on being more customer friendly. More cashier lanes open. Ive been guided to a shorter line by someone who appears to be assisting the checkout areas. I also like paying with my watch or phone.

OMG my food lion I enjoy shopping there. The store is clean well stocked and most of all has cash registers open. They may not have 22 lines but they have lanes open with friendly cashier ready to help you.

Right down the road from me makes it convenient but they are dirty, fruit n veggies not set up nice,rotten. Its okay to run in and run out.

Generally stay well stocked with typical groceries. Friendly, helpful, clean, usually easy to get around. Plenty parking. Convenient to I-295, route 36. Produce department kept clean and well stocked. Pretty flowers. ATM inside.
