5NOV21 This is my FAVORITE hardware store!!!👍😃👍😃 I first visited McKAYS back in the 1990s when I was the maintenance supervisor at the Comfort Inn. They always had the items I needed and Mr. McKay, Ed, and all the other folks that worked there were so very friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help in any way they could. That same GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE is still there today.😃😃😃 I sure wish they were closer to home so I could shop there more often.

Everytime I go into their I have a great experience I never leave without the thing that I was actually looking for if I cant find it the app standing help they have their helps me find McKays is a blessing for I hope it stays for a very long long time

I got deals from the store. Was looking for a 5 gal gasoline jug it was $23.99 got it for $14.99. It was in sale papers and there was one in store. Always got keep your eyes on sale paper from True Value

Great little store. The guys who work there are very knowledgeable and helpful. At the beginning of covid 19, they were one of the 1st places that I found real face masks ( this was when no one could find them anywhere). I get my pesticides there as well as lightbulbs etc. They make keys too. A little bit pricey compared to the big retailers but you get hometown service and no problems getting your questions answered.

When I cant find what I want, normally they would have it.

Such narrow aisles, so many people waiting, such a long line and only one person working behind the register...

Great place to find what ever you are looking for to repair, fix, replace, you can always find it here at McKays Hardware . If they dont have it, and they cant order it, they can tell you where to go to get it . Employees are very knowledgeable in the products in the store, extra 🌟 for Casey she is pretty fast at checkout and knows her stuff too. Best price around for getting keys cut, they do a great job on them come in and give them a try you wont get this type of service at a big box whare house store .

This Hardware store has just about everything you are looking for. Four stars because they are generally friendly however, once in a while put on your thick skin when you go in. Whew!

I visited Mckays Hardware for the first time today and I had a great experience. A gentleman who worked there approached me shortly after I walked in and helped me locate exactly what I was looking for (drywall anchors, nuts/bolts) and provided his recommendation, which has worked out well so far with my DIY laundry shelf project. I found the price for my supplies agreeable and I was in and out within five minutes. Whats not to like?Thanks, guys!

This is one of the best stores around, you cant find them like this anymore, very very nowlage able staff that can help you with just about everything and this store has just about everything, well worth the drive to Hopewell.

A small and over cluttered mom and pop style hardware store. They stock many hard to find items that you would normally have to order online. They have great prices on select items that you wont find cheaper anywhere else. For example, they regularly have Pennzoil brand motor oil on sale for $2.99 a quart. That is cheaper than the autoparts store. Although, you typically will not find generic or store brand items here so there are just as many instances where you can find cheaper prices (Ex. Double keyed deadbolt - $19.99 Mckay) at one of those big name stores and if you dont mind choosing a brand you have never heard of you could get it at close to half that price.Location is very convenient to my home in Hopewell and employees are very knowledgeable and polite. Store does seem a little bit cramped inside but it isnt something that bothers me too much. Often, I find myself going here to purchase a specific item but always end up spending a lot of time just browsing the whole store repeatedly coming across things that I was once looking for and could have made my life much easier sometime in the past.
