I would highly recommend D&T Appliance Service. They replied promptly to my on line request for service and offered an opportunity to have my refrigerator/freezer repaired within a very reasonable amount of time since we are in the middle of a heatwave. The technician arrived within the stated arrival time, did a thorough assessment of what was causing my refrigerator to malfunction. A huge shout out to the tech Ricardo, he was polite, professional, and very knowledgeable. The service charge was very reasonable, having a refrigerator that works: priceless. Will definitely contact D&T Appliance Service for any future appliance repair needs.

Office staff were friendly and helpful when I made the appointment to have my oven and cooktop repaired. The technician, Marcus, called before showing up - and even took his shoes off in the hall before coming into my condo unit. He was very knowledgeable and fixed the oven problem. The cooktop repair will require a second visit, since it needs a part that had to be ordered, (but that won’t require another service call payment). It’s so expensive to repair the high-end European appliances that are in my condo building, but I feel that D&T charges are reasonable under the circumstances - and very good quality.

When I called about my broken washer, they were very responsive. I left a message and they got back to me in the same day, They were able to send a service tech that same week. Justin arrived in the time window and was professional and thorough when explaining the issue with our washer. I was very happy with his service and it was pretty reasonable to fix! We have been waiting for over a month for our washing machine to be repaired. After LG sent us to D&T they took over a week to schedule an appointment which took another few days to happen, all in it was 11 days from initial contact with LG who immediately passed the work off to D&T to when the tech entered our home. The issue was exactly as I described it on the service call and the technician was in the home for all of 15 minutes before leaving with parts needed to be ordered. Another week passed without any communication and went we called back their earliest appointment was two weeks without and chance to schedule something sooner. We had no choice but to wait. D&T didn’t fail to disappoint, we were called the day before the appointment and told that the needed parts did not arrive and they will call us to reschedule once the parts do arrive, i asked “what’s the ETA?” and was told that there was no estimate. So, I directly called LG and after about 30-45 minutes with the repair number I was able to determine that D&T was attempting to order a discontinued part that will never be available, but there was an approved replacement part that is in stock and can be available soon. So, I called back D&T and gave them the correct part to order, which got the part on order. Sadly, D&T then turned around and told me that we needed to another eight days to get the repair scheduled, three more days than the parts will take to arrive. So all, start to finish, it took over 6 weeks for the repair and would have taken longer if I didn’t directly get involved and call LG. Oh, forgot to mention that my wife is a front line medical worker who is eight months pregnant so we do not want to go to a laundromat out of respect for her patients and the desire to protect them from any additional chance of COVID. So, we have been washing our clothes in a bathtub the best we can. If there was any way not to use D&T we would have taken it.

Icemaker repair: fast, friendly, super helpful! Our icemaker failed while under warranty. They scheduled service quickly, showed up on time, diagnosed problem, ordered part, came back and all is fixed. The technician was super knowledgeable. Also, the D&T service rep is awesome. I asked her a question via e-mail, and she talked to a technician and got back to me right away. Highly recommend D&T Appliance - I will use them again.

Called on a Monday morning to get a portable dishwasher repaired. I was able to drop it off that morning and received a call Wednesday that it was fixed. The cost was much lower and a higher quality than expected. They were able to fix the problem without having to order and wait for expensive, and unnecessary parts. I highly recommend D and T.

The service person quickly fix the problem and offered to discount the call price due to the east and fixing it which I thought was extremely nice and very professional. My experience with D&T was a very pleasant one. Service Tech Joe was knowledgeable, friendly and prompt. Prior attempts for service with the LG factory reps was a 3 month trial with nobody ever showing up for the repair. When D&T was contacted by the holder of the service contract, they promptly contacted me and set up a time. The tech showed up on time and when parts were needed to be ordered it was only a few more days before he was back and had my appliance fully repaired and tested.I would recommend D&T to anyone.

Super impressed with the company, The scheduler asked me questions so they knew what appliance I had, make & model so they had an idea what part was needed. They did have to special order parts, called before coming, came on time went right to work. tested everything to make sure it worked. And also gave me some advice to my hard water problem. Work performed was great. They had the parts on the truck and were able to fix it the same day. Biggest problem I had was cost. Im in the service industry we charge $75 an hour. This repair was for a new compressor with a flat charge labor rate of $550. The service tech was on site for an hour and a half maybe 2 hours. The part was warrantied from LG so they had no cost there. In my opinion $550 was a little steep. But we need a refrigerator.🤷‍♂️Update: It could be the same cost at other companies, I wish my industry made that kind of money. You guys fixed our range a few months back as well that service was great as well. Took a bit to get parts but thats not your fault. I dont think I will buy LG next time around.😉Thanks!

Overall fantastic experience. My compressor went out on my refrigerator and with everything being under warranty I spent more than a week trying to get LG to call me back to schedule an appointment. With no movement there, I finally just called D&T direct, they were at my house in 2 days and were even helped call LG directly to get the warranty number so I wouldnt pay out of pocket. They were professional and meticulous with the compressor install and even took the time to solder lines that were kinked from the manufacturer. I will definitely be using them again for future appliance repair needs.

Chad Istel was my service technician and he went above and beyond service. He was on time, efficient, accommodating and very professional. He had to order a part for our refrigerator and made sure he was back the next day to replace the part. He made sure it was accommodating for both my tenant and myself to meet there the next day for the repair. He also helped out with another repair that I through at him that day!! If I could give more stars I would. After a few false starts with other service companies assigned by LG to fix our refrigerator we were fortunate to have it reassigned to D&T. They came prepared not just to diagnose the issue but with the parts to repair it on the first visit. There was excellent communication prior to the service appointment, and they arrived well within the window set for the appointment. They understand what service really means! THANKS!!

We had a great experience with D&T. Our home was struck by lightning and our appliances were being affected by the electrical surge. Dewayne came out to diagnose some of the issues we were having and it couldnt have gone better he was very knowledgeable about everything appliance related he did a thorough job going over everything. Our fall back refrigerator/freezer technician retired, so we had to find a new service company. After browsing the internet and Angies List for prospective service companies, we called D & T Appliance Service Company during non-business hours with a non-emergency service request. We received a prompt call back. We provided specific information that would help the technician perform proficiently when s/he arrived.A technician was scheduled to accommodate my work schedule and had a 4-hour time window for arrival. As requested, the technician called 30 minutes before arrival. Jay D. arrived on time. Did thorough assessment and provided professional options and recommendations. Technician was knowledgeable and courteous. Also removed shoes at front door.We have used a variety of technicians in numerous specialties over 5 decades with our businesses and homes, so we have a lot of experience with a broad spectrum of service requests. My year and one half old washer decided to break down. The manufacturer recommended D & T Appliance Service. I found these folks to be the ones to call in Covid times. I received advanced notice for my appointment. Tech Jay called ahead and showed up on time.They are great at taking precautions seriously. Jay maintained distance, masked up and used hand sanitizer before and after the visit. Living in a house with a health care provider, I was impressed with the service.They are worth the first call in the new normal of Covid. Thx D&T

Joe has come to our home to repair a washer in the past. Very nice guy and did a great job. Under extended warranty we had to replace that washer with a new one, same make and model. As did the first one, this new one quit completely after just 18 months. Joe was the tech who came out and looked it over. Ordered parts and came back to replace absolutely everything electronic and then some. These things take a lot of time, so we have an old beat-up washer as a backup. If the newer washer quits again, I wont blame Joe and D&T. The make and model is a lemon. Stay away from Frigidaire top loaders!

Over the course of 3 weeks we spent 244 dollars for 45min (total over 2 visits) of the repair technicians time to diagnose and replace a washing machine motor, the cost of the part was covered under warranty. The machine still doesnt work and they havent called us back. The repair technician was nice enough but seemed to be rushed to diagnose something/anything and move along.Its good business when you charge a full hour minimum and only 15min diagnosing a problem. Then repeat two weeks later and charge a full hour (at a higher rate) to fix the problem in just 30min. On top of that it took 1 week for a tech to come to the house, 1 week for the part to arrive, and then we had to go to the back of the line (1 week again) for the part to be installed.

Very unprofessional. The woman answering the phone must have been having a bad day or hate her job. She was rude and did not know how to talk to a customer. Was told that my area is not one they service despite my zip code being listed on their website. Maybe they should update that. This place was also my last resort seeing as how few places will service LG appliance. That being said I would personally take your money and business elsewhere to a place that cares about their customers.

We had the tech out for LG French Door Refrigerator diagnostic and repair option. We had a leak in our Freon line plus it would have needed a new compressor under warranty. The repair would have cost too much so we bought a new refrigerator instead. Be very cautious of their service pricing and parts. Check with manufacture first to see if they will service your appliance. Manufacture pricing for parts and service is 50% of D&Ts pricing. D&T work is good but pricing is high.

They serviced and replaced just about every part on my brand new LG dishwasher, and it still doesn’t work properly. On top of that, they also chipped my brand new countertops after being told (the second time) to be more careful. Back to square one with another service company since D&T also did not log any of the work done, so LG has no records of the work that has been completed. Stay away from this company!

D & T serviced my Bosch dishwasher and I was extremely pleased with the service. The technician not only fixed the issue I needed repaired and he found the two dishwasher rack wheels that had fallen off a few prior. He dug under the toe tick area of cabinets and found them. He said me having to order two new ones which I had priced out at $10.00 per wheel. Fixed the issue and saved me money. I would recommend them to anyone.

Their customer service people are rude. The technicians are ALWAYS late or just completely incompetent. They are the only company that I can use per my appliance warranties. I can guarantee that once my warranty is up, I will never use them again. The first time a technician came out he told me I was doing laundry wrong and that my machine was fine and did nothing. He then said, “call if the problem continues and he would come back and replace a possible part ; that might be causing the problem.” Why the hell wouldn’t he just replace the part to begin with? He came back out the following week and actually fixed it. The second time I had an issue, I waited for a tech from noon-4 (the window that I was given). He called at 3:45 saying that he was running late and asked if I would still like him to come out. He then sounded annoyed when I said, “of course, I need my washing machine fixed”. We needed to wait for a part to come in, so I made a follow up appt. The same tech came out to fix it and again called at 3:45 to say that he was running late. Once again he sounded annoyed to have to come out. I just can’t with this company. Don’t use them; if you don’t have to.

Id been having recurring issues with my refrigerator and since Im a fairly technical guy I did a considerable amount of Google sleuthing to determine what the issue was. I went so far as ordering parts and installing them, only to find out that I had gone down the repair path. I threw in the towel and called D&T.I was able to promptly schedule an appointment and the technician arrived during the specific time window. Upon arrival he almost immediately thought he knew what the issue was, confirmed it and thorughly explained the problem. Apparently the control board was programmed to run too short of defrost cycle and what was happening is ice was building up around the fan preventing airflow. The solution: an updated control board that allows for a longer defrost period.He proved the value of experience and product expertise. Had I continued to try to fix it myself I would have inevitably continued to throw parts at the refrigerator without actually fixing the refrigerator.

I would not recommend this service. The company management showed its true integrity, in a very unfortunate way. I think the owners would be appalled if they knew what I know. Problems and mistakes happen. Its how they get resolved that matters more. Management took NO responsibility/accountability for flooding my kitchen and basement. We had D&T come out to fix a Bosch dishwasher. The repair was expensive and the work was incompetent. We are waiting on the 5th visit from D&T to address a leaky connection from the dishwasher drain to the garbage disposal. This repair has taken an unbelievable amount of time in phone calls to schedule appointments and then waiting in 4 hour windows for service people to arrive.

The only reason they dont receive zero stars is because the tech that came to the house was actually a nice, competent person.Every other aspect of this interaction has been a complete failure. They showed no sense of urgency. They did not offer solutions when there was a problem. They only offered excuses and why things couldnt be done.We had to wait nearly 10 days to get the initial visit. After a service visit to the house and determining what part needed to be ordered, they set up a return visit two weeks out, at 8:00am. (side note, the part could have been available as soon as 48 hours) At 4:00 pm the night before the return visit, they called to tell us the part hasnt arrived and they needed to move the appointment out. How far out? I asked. They didnt know because the part is on backorder. When will it be back in stock? I asked. Again, they didnt know and told me I could call Thermador directly if I wanted, but theres nothing they could do.I called Thermador and found out that the part was NOT on backorder, nor had it been on backorder. A quick web search found the part available at four suppliers. When I called D&T back, their response was but it isnt available at our regular supplier. I had to tell them to order it from another supplier and send it via rush shipment. We dont normally rush ship anything, but I guess we can do that was the reply.They told me that the only time they had available to come back and install the part was on a Friday morning. I said yes simply to get on their schedule. Remember, it has now been a month since the oven broke and Ive already taken two days off work for the previous visits.Unfortunately, I cant take this Friday off so I called to see what options are possible. Of course, all I get is a monologue on all the reasons they cant change the schedule, how busy they are, why things cant be done. Again, not even the hint or suggestion of a solution.Im waiting for the final, return visit. Still dont know when that will be because even after expressing my frustration, the best they could do was to promise to call me back soon with an alternate appointment date. Im worried theyre checking their calendar looking for a day of the week called Soon-day. I barely assume that the oven will get repaired sometime before Christmas.All sarcasm aside, they are obviously not a company that uses any technology for scheduling, ordering, CRM, etc. To anyone in need of an appliance repair, I would STRONGLY recommend you use anyone else.
