I got surprised today with store attendants today. They seemed so nice and not rude at all. Keep it up. Customers like being treated with smiles. ThanksSomehow these stores often sell expired products or with reprinted expiration date. Overall not bad selection of products and delicious bread. A bit overpriced.

Best Russian store in the area. Variety of foods, meats, desserts you cant find anywhere else.. Some staff dont speak English so just make sure you have someone with you who speaks Russian if you have questions!

Superb eastern Euro deli meat and dairy selection. Fresh bread, farmers cheese, perogies, everything you could want. I havent come across any expired goods or rude staff that others note. As with any food retailer, just check product exp. dates when shopping.

Great food and the service is good. I have never been treated poorly there. I have read that people have had bad experiences here, but I have never experienced any myself. I think people are intimidated by the staffs limited english. However, they are nothing but friendly in my experience. The food is great. I love the home made pickles, the great deli selection, and the cheap takeout items. Perfect to get your fix of eastern European food.

Wonderful place to purchase smoked fish, sausage, herring, mustards, pickles, bread. Satisfies my atavistic tastes from the old country.

Pretty good variety of Eastern European Foods, there in house baked bread is amazing. I would recommend checking expiration labels before buying. I would also advise knowing basic Russian.

Expired food and poor customer service. If you come back to exchange the expired product for a fresh one they are aggressive and turn you away.

Always clean,well arranged and well stocked with various goods. The nice staff are usually ready to help if in case you need help. Keep it guys!

Great candy.

I like this place mostly for it incredible bread, dairy and cold cuts. There are a few gems in his place if you look around. But you need to keep in mind that this is a store that is not representative of a 1st world culture. The employees speak very little english. The customers have actually been very helpful when I have had issues with language and the cashiers have been friendly. The deli woman got really impatient wth me because i didnt speak russian once. But iImagine what you might have experienced in a Soviet store not that long ago and this place would indeed seem like paradise (lol). So, yes, you have to check the expiration dates on the jars and packages, stick to basic english and dont ask for much because they are not big on service. Its a rewarding experience is you limit your western expectations.

Horrible customer service, i went few times in the hope they will do better next time and it is worst every time, waiting to be helped 20 min or 30 min later its so not OK, you can find expired food on shelves and when u tell them, they just mumble something, probably being posed off with costumers like me finding expired food on shelf.Not coming back ever again !!!!

Great little place for mostly Russian, but some other eastern European, staples. When I walked in it was tough asking for something specific as I dont speak Russian but another customer helped me.

Please support this place and if you’ve never been to a Eastern-European style grocery store, please go with an open mind and take your time to read the labels that often have multiple languages on them for nutrition and ingredients information too!This is a wonderful Russian/ Eastern European grocery store! The selection varies from fish such as salmon and meats of all kinds and cheeses they can slice to order too, and there is a full wall of teas of all kinds of flavors too! Lots of jams and honey jars for pretty decent prices, and as far as prices overall, as some other reviewers have mentioned: remember they are shipping many of these items from extremely specialty producers and distributors from the other side of the globe, and in the case of the Russian style ravioli in one of the freezer cases it can come from New York City too. This is a small business started by very hard working individuals who have come here to build a better life but only seek to continue to enable access to these Eastern European delicacies and snacks and foods that they have been raised with. While it can be hard to read some of the labels due to language barriers, if you ask the very friendly staff for something, (for example I asked if they had any chocolate from Poland since my grandma is 100% Polish and I knew she’d appreciate that) they will take you right to it if they carry it! They’re very knowledgeable and extremely friendly and accommodating. I also grabbed some kefir here too- most people don’t know that it originated from Eastern Europe and now it’s a popular item found in most grocery stores that is loaded with more probiotics than most yogurt and with less sugar!

Terrible place. They sell bad and expired food and are extremely rude when you try to return it.The first time we bought expired candy from them and claimed it was just a bad batch, that it wasnt their fault.The second time was bad dill and waffles that had MAGGOT holes in them. They accepted the bad waffles back, but not the dill. They said it was our fault for not smelling it when we bought it!?Not sure how places like this stay in business.

This store is horrible . I bought food and they were expired and in mold . Their fish is expired almost always and thei deli is not fresh at all. I found out that they wipe it with butter everyday to make it look fresh and shiny . Someone needs to call FdA on them before someone dies from poisoning . I would hate to know if this was store if my clients got food poisoning. What they are doing is wrong. I will never go there again .

Do not expect to get any service before closing time! They might as well say: we are open until 7pm not 8pm. Also, not open until 8pm as advertised on Sunday.

I had a really bad experience at this store. I’d been a customer there for a few years until I decided to return expired food that I bought without checking the expiration date. Very rude owner. I will never shop in at this store again.

This is a Russian/Ukrainian foods store. Service is lacking, owner is extremely rude. Half of items are past expiration date. Last but not least, they started adding 3.5% surcharge for credit card transactions. Boycott!

Nice store. I come here for some goods on a regular basis (for example: smoked fish, sweets, seeds, beets, dill ...) The sellers are friendly. There is one drawback: there are buyers who are very slow, who think for a very long time what to buy; and they have to wait until they weigh 23 grams of sausage and 56 grams of cheese :-) Once I did not wait (because I was with my little son) and left, leaving the purchases.

Came here on Sunday. In Google maps, it was stated that the day is a working day, but it’s not for nothing that he is Russian, it works the same way as in Russia - after all, it was just closed.

Seeds with breadcrumbs, kvass and all that, but seeds! SEEEEEMKIIIIII!
