Over the last several weeks I’ve spent a ton of time and money preparing for my homeschool community. Much of that time was shopping and printing items in the print department. I was really disappointed that three different times I arrived to pick up an order that was not completed. Stacey was kind and offered to work on it until it was completed but it was not done to my specification because the directions were given to several people in the form of a pile of post it notes. She didn’t call me like she said she would to check that it was being done correctly or to tell me they needed more time. Then on another recent order, I ask that some maps be copied in color from Stacey. For some reason this was never done correctly and after 3 days of asking for the same thing I showed up and it still wasn’t completed. I had to trash them. There were always excuses about equipment that wasn’t cooperating or someone else that took the order. Unfortunately I think this employee is not equipped to do the job. Stacey is always kind but I’m there to get a service. Destiny has been very helpful a couple of times trying to fix what was messed up.
The dude at the print services rocked! He converted an unprintable document for me so that I could complete my work without any hassles! His help saved me a lot of time and headache! Great job man...you know who you are! Thanks again!
Jessica was awesome. You definitely have a great employee. She has helped me 3 different time lately and has been wonderful each and every time. She is truly an asset to your company.Brenda Price
I have not had a single good experience in the Hopkinsville location since I was stationed at Ft. Campbell in 2008. Everytime I go there I am constantly followed and asked if I need help finding anything, typically by 2 people each visit. I can accept and expect that from a retail store, there is a few things that I can never respect Though. Prime example being almost everytime (literally 4 out of last 5 visits in last 6 months 2020/21) I have shopped at this location, I was offered help and accepted it. The issue arose when I was getting assistance and a rude, disrespectful manager from the printing area (John) interrupts my shopping by yelling from 25 feet away at the sales woman (Star) working on the floor that she needs to stop everything she is doing and get back to print. Specifically saying Stop fooling around and get back to work in print! then when she politely says she is with a customer, he yells again in a angry threatening tone Get back to work! With not only other workers but other customers standing there in disgust. I do not know why it was such a dire emergency that he has to tell me as a customer that i dont matter and that something needs done now while he is standing up leaning onto a counter playing with his phone. This specific day the woman (Star) was the only one on the floor that came to me and could help me but he felt like degrading her in front of coworkers and customers while he himself was doing nothing. She was specifically helping me look for a new chair and a good all in one printer. She apologized and asked if she could come right back to help me because we had found a good chair and she was going to help me bring it up to the register and check me out (I am a disabled Veteran so it was much appreciated). Instead the manager (John) started berating her about being lazy and about how she needs to do her job and stop walking the floor with customers and she needs to stay in print because that is her job! All this was screamed at her and I watched as other employees did nothing to stand up for her. I watched in disgust as this manager (John on his tag) who was physically much larger than her, tear this poor woman down in front of the world to see while she was doing her best to hold herself together all I could see is her crying and bowing down slouching as shes trying to cover her face and hide her emotion! She went into print and she did her job meanwhile I have always known that the person on the floor gets credit for the sale so I brought the chair up to the register and I started to check out making sure that she (Star) get credit for the sale so her hard work was not wasted and this manager (John) came up on the register that she was in while on the floor and without telling the poor woman or myself processed to signed her out and signed himself in for the sale she earned! When she tried to ask he just told her to get back to work and worry about print in a very threatening manner. When another employee checked on (Star) if she was ok, he yelled at them as well to stop chit chatting and get back to work! Then ordered the other woman to go back to her section. I have tried multiple times to find this manager (Tommy) to file a formal complaint but he is either never in or never available. This kind of TOXIC, ABUSI, leadership is nothing short of disgusting and if this is who you have running your stores it is only a matter of time before someone gets seriously hurt! The only good experience I have had was when I was dealing with that young woman (Star) with red hair and glasses. Every other time I have came in all I have seen is male managers doing nothing but sitting on their phones while screaming at other employees to stop being lazy! Greatest example is when the manager (John) made sure that I never feel valued as a customer ever again! What can I expect from a company that treats their employees like trash infront of everyone. I will never shop at any Officemax again. This will be shared on all social media including names and store location
Friendly staff. They carry good products, purchased a laptop thats excellent. Great price for the quality.
Ordered online and had my order ready for pickup within an hour
Needed 2 filing cabinets on short notice. Told at local store even though their inventory said they had 2 it was incorrect and it would take 10 days or so to order. Tried several other options then called the Hopkinsville store #6643. Talked to John, he also said he did not have the cabinets in stock and although he would like to have the sale at his store he would try to find some in driving distance. Later he calls and has searched several stores for me. He found the 2 cabinets I needed in Nashville. I ordered on line and picked them up. That kind of customer service is rare and appreciated.
The floor salesman was amazing, but the cashier tried inviting me to his church. Cool, I politely declined. He refused to listen and wouldnt check out my stuff until he finished trying to convince me to come. Marcus, Im glad youre happy with your religious faith, but when someone politely declines, stop forcing it down their throat. I am happily set in my faith and respected you enough not to try forcing my faith on you.
DESTINY in the printing dept. is AWESOME:She said dont worry I know my stuff she took care of our 60 Invitations in less than an hour without any problems. A day before no one there could find or print our invitations! We was upset and stressed. Thanks to DESTINY being there the next day she fixed us right up!!! Love that young lady. We are going back today to see her again!!! PLEASE DONT LET HER GO!!!! Yes Office Max she knows her business. I will call before I go to make sure shes there. When you go there ask for DESTINY!❤🖒🖒
Friendly and efficient in handling several customers in the printing dept. Great price to scan-email some papers. Much faster then if I ahd done one at a time at home.
Great friendly service from a young man named Marcus. He deserves at least a good pat on the back. Makes me really miss our store in Bowling Green.
I was there twice and gave my spot in line up once. Then I was ignored. 3 clerks were working the area. On scale of 1 to 10 it suck today. Although other visits have been good
OfficeMax cant be beat when it comes to services. Employees r professional coupled with likeable personalities. I am satisfied with the treatments Ive received.
Only took 30 minutes to find a switch that kept my new printer from printing and replaced a driver that was needed to print properly. Plus the manager carried the heavy item back to my car.
Bought my touch screen computer and a very nice office chair here, as well as many smaller purchases.Very pleased with all of my purchases. The staff is friendly and helpful, the products are top notch. What more could one ask for in a Office Supply store??
Staff is friendly, but doesnt go out of their way to make sure youre finding everything okay. I didnt mind this, as I prefer to read aisle signs and look for a minute first, but I know some people like to be ushered from door to product to counter. Prices are what youd expect at an office store, and I didnt have to wait too long in checkout.
My experience was great. Informative and detailed. Customer service I give 100%
I was trying to print a copy of a cross stitch pattern of my college coat of arms. The clerk gave me the wrong email address first. It didnt go through. I got the correct address. I forwarded it to that one. It didnt go through. I lost the entire email and pattern. I dont know the lady who sent it to me because she sent it through the Alumnae Association. I cant contact her and Ive completely lost any means of retrieving it. Needless to say Im not happy and I dont know what to do. I havent dealt with you much but I dont plan on returning again since Ive lost something so precious. My college no longer exist and I wanted this as a remembrance. Thanks for nothing
Loved standing here at the print center while the guy working the counter enjoyed acting superior while not having much of a clue about his job. Glad I dont live in the area and probably wont have to deal with him again
Received superb service from the general manager Joe while we were in town for the eclipse. He walked outside the store to hand out cold bottles of water before the hot summer sun disappeared and came by afterwards to thank the eclipse viewers for visiting town, many of whom werent even customers. When I think of Hopkinsville from now on, Ill think of Joe and spectacular hospitality.
Took my stuff in to be laminated. Was there around 1:00. Was told laminator had to cool down to change the paper/film. Ok, Ill come back. Went back at 7:30 - was told the same story. She was waiting on it to cool down to change the paper/film. It takes 6 1/2 hrs to cool down a laminator? Not a happy customer. Is there anywhere else in Hopkinsville to get something laminated?
Excellent service! Someone always there to work with you an treat you nice.
Mike was very helpful with my external Mac hard drive purchase.
Awesome customer service, great location, and very convenient. I never have to park a mile away!
Very good stuff but a little bit more expensive than other stores

Ive always had good service and good experiences in office max.
Friendly, helpful staff, even cashier saved me money.
Technology support staff very friendly & willing to help.
OfficeMax Hopkinsville is Racial Profiling Central. First of all, I used to own computer stores and I have a very successful Ebay business so it is not uncommon for me to look for clearance items for resale. I was in OfficeMax checking out there pricing and this guy followed me all over the store. Asked me 5 times if I needed help. Followed me all over the store then, went and got the manager who asked me three times! My Google places app came up in the store asking for pictures. As soon as I took one, the same guy appears behind me and walks right in front of the picture! That is totally uncalled for and I recommend people of color boycott this location unless you are comfortable with this type of treatment. I will definitely reflect this on Hoptown Nows page...
The man was working but there was grest, friendly, very polite; however, he was the only one working the floor and registers.Hopkinville location was under staffed.
Nice Office Max location. Clean store.
Quick service. Very helpful.
Just a fedex dropoff
Paid 30.00 plus for scans, bought thumb drive, loaded scans after getting home, these scan are illegible. Last time I drove the 20 miles, I called first to make sure an item was in stock. Confirmed twice that they did habe item, arrived to find they, in fact, did not. Not happy!
